I reserved a truck from Bonney lake wa. And one day before I was to pick up the truck they called me and said the truck was in shop for maintenance. They referred me to mt. View Puyallup wa. For a truck At that location for a 1:00 appointment. I went to there location at 11:00 a.m hoping to get truck early and they we're closing early with no notice to me that they were closing early. I still ended up renting the truck thankfully I showed up early. Then the app to return the truck didn't work for me to return the truck. Overall a pretty poor experience. I brought the vehicle back on a Sunday while nobody was there and I couldn't get the U-haul app to work to return it properly. I called the national number and explained my situation and they just told me to leave the key in the drop box and that they would note that I couldn't get the app to work. During entire check-out process, I explained that I would need to drop off the equipment AFTER HOURS at the location on Enchanted Parkway S in Federal Way after hours, and was told that I could do so. I showed up at 5:15 pm, about 15 minutes after the location closed. The online check-in process said I needed to be at the same location as where I checked out. So I called and was told I could go ahead an check in at the Federal Way location. I took the requested photos, recorded the vehicle mileage, and was directed to drop the keys in the key drop. I searched fir over an hour while waiting on the phone for assistance. I took the key hone with me while still on hold. Finally, after speaking to a representative, she emailed me the key drop details for this location. Instead of a box, I was to find a slot next to a large green sign. I drove back to the store to find the slot. It was sealed closed. I emailed the representative that sent me the information about the drop slot. I also attempted to call the store GM at the number listed on the greeen sign. It went to voice mail. I returned home to go to bed, as I have to be at work tomorrow at 7:00 am. I still have the key. The van I rented either needs its filler neck or vent tube for the gas tank cleaned. Refueling that vehicle was challenging as it triggered the pump nozzle to stop every second. Please fixJOHN F.

We have rented 3 times from this location and always get great service and friendly people. Called at last minute when another uhaul place had failed to secure a truck for my son had already paid for. Mountain View location had one left and held for us until we got there. We had an excellent experience with Mountain View Self Storage. The facility is clean, well lit and has easy access to/from the highway. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful with our many questions. The sign-up process was easy as well as the check-out and the prices very reasonable. Absolutely NO WiFi and also poor reception because it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We couldn't return the truck because the app kept crashing, so we had to drive way down the road and call U-Haul. We sat on hold for an hour in a cold car, all for the cancellation itself to take 3 minutes once someone FINALLY answered. After this experience we will NOT be using U-Haul again and we will be telling others to do the same. Extremely inconvenient the whole time.Shayd W.

My biggest problem was with the system that you are using to track and handle rentals. Every time I spoke with a person they were nice but the email communication that followed never matched the conversation. I spoke with mote that 4 people and and each time the email that followed for confirmation did not match up. Both finding a truck that I wanted and finding a location were hard and finding a drop off location and dropping off was hard.Daniel B.

If you make a reservation online DO NOT EXPECT to get what you order. UHaul doesn't know what they are taking reservations for (or doesn't bother to track them) so they will change out your reserved truck for a smaller one the night before you are picking it up!!! So you will have to be ready to change your plans because they can tell what large trucks they will have at any given time. Our experience was that we reserved a 20 ft truck for a 600 mile round-trip and they couldn't deliver one and â€œdidn't have any larger trucks, all they had was a 15 ft truck at a different pickup locationâ€, so we had to make two 600-mile trips to get all the stuff to the new house. We were lucky enough to have the flexibility to do the added 10-hour drive/trips.DAVID H.

The receiving attendant (can't say enough good things about him), realized that I needed a 26 foot truck, but was only able to get a 20 foot truck and that caused me to need to make two trips. There was a problem with the uhaul.com/share website as my device was not able to upload the fuel photo that was required to complete the return through the site. Luckily, the site representative had just stepped out of the office and was able to complete the return on his device. If the representative had not been there this would have not ended in a positive experience.IAN S.
Truck exterior was filthy - interior was clean. Also, I only drove 14 miles but had to put over 4 gallons of gas in the van. Paid for the miles at .79 cents per and another $12 in fuel from the gas station.JEFFREY D.
