Great service

Jason MThe dolly & pads I ordered were not in the truck. This made the move much more difficult. We had to carry each box out individually. I've been down two days with my back so far. The base price 19.99 ended up to be 125.00. Nothing was mentioned about gas until we were back at the drop off and did the self checkout.
Terry MProcess was difficult and unclear. You all customer service was unhelpful. Took two hours delay before I could talk to a human being. I was transferred four different times.

Jimmie FThe Uhaul van at Mr. B's would not start at time of pick up. The dash board would light up, we could read the mileage, but the engine would not turn over. The gas tank was on empty and the dolly we reserved and paid $7.00 for was not in the back of the van. Pictures were taken at part of the process for picking the uhaul van on the uhaul website. There wasn't a live person on the grounds. The woman working the flower nursery next door told us where to find the key boxes. The boxes were located hanging on a pole/tree near the road. I called (800) 468-4295 and spoke with two representatives. I requested a refund while speaking with the second representative Keala because we were well passed an hour at this point. Keala stated that she notified her manager John Carroll. Once reviewed I should receive a refund within 3 to 5 business days. Mr. B's address is 3503 Okeechobee Rd. Fort Pierce, FL 34947. The total of purchase to refund is $65.27. Four days later I get an email with a receipt attached stating that I'm being refunded $45.86. I should be refunded the full amount because the rental never left the lot and there was no gas in the vehicle.

Marjorie CWhat a horrible experience. I have made several calls to U-Haul explaining everything that they did wrong. A guy named Marcus who works in an area that I'm in was supposed to call me back about my experience and about the condition of the truck when I picked it up. It was filthy it had drywall, screws broken glass dirt, you name it. There was gasoline and oil all on the floor and though I have complained many times, nobody cares. In addition I made reservations to pick up and drop off in a particular place, U-Haul changed both locations, and both locations pick up and drop off were completely out of my way and as a result, I had to end up putting more gas into the truck. I just now got a invoice and I was charged an additional $20 for gas. I am beyond pissed and beyond upset. Nobody has contacted me and my complaints fell on deaf ears when I tried to do anything. The girl, who answered the reservations number was extremely rude. Out of all the locations I see in my area, not one of them could find the space to receive the truck. Even though I reserved my U-Haul over 30 days in advance. You haul never accommodated me at all, it was all about what was good for them. I'll never use you all again I will carry the stuff in my car, I will move my stuff in a shopping cart before I would ever use your services again. Nothing has been done to compensate me for the troubles you have caused. I had to wait over 45 minutes to even rent the truck because my name was associated with somebody else, I don't know how that happened, and apparently that other person had to settle something with you all. 45 minutes of my time lost driving to a location that was not convenient to me another hour lost because of the situation with the other person being attached to my name, absolutely horrible service from start to finish. Marcus, I would like a phone call. Whoever gets this message please tell him that I need to be called. He has been given the message and I have not received one word from him regarding any of my experience. $500 I paid to rent this truck that was given to me filthy, made a reservation, U-Haul could care less about the locations of my pickup and drop off. Unacceptable service
Laurie HThis was the worst experience I've ever had with a Uhual rental. Lock my keys in the Uhual. Didn't realize it. Drop Uhual keys in lock box. Tried calling owner of Uhual Swrvice. He was very uncooperative. Called Uhual 1800#. They couldn't help me. Had to walk home miles to sleep. Had to walk back to location in the rain. I will never use Mr. B location again nor will I refer anyone to his location.

marie lI called several locations attempting to find a small open trailer and couldn’t. Called u haul and they sent me to a location and that trailer was out of service because of lights. Sent to Mr. B’s and he was very nice and had a 6x12 that could do the job. The trailer worked fine but the floor was very oily to the degree when I stepped on the asphalt I could see oily foot prints.
Michael BOverall, the owner of Mr. B’s is amazing. Great and authentic person. However, my Uhaul experience with the company itself was horrendous. Had a reservation at 9am at different location, keys not in the drop box… THEN, Uhaul sends me to a another location where they “reserved” a truck for me… drive all the way there and turns out someone already has a reservation on that exact truck. Call Uhaul AGAIN and they send me to Mr. B’s. Both door jams leaked when it rained and got me and my friend soaked (have video proof). The truck was filthy. Cigarette butt in the cup holder, miscellaneous items in the back of the truck including socks, underwear, shelves from the previous renter so I had to wait… All of this put me 2 hours past my original reservation time in which made me go over on time SO THEY CHARGED ME FOR AN EXTRA DAY!! Waiting to hear from a “manager” for my “$50 guaranteed refund” on the reservation hassle but have yet to hear anything from a “manager” nor my dispute on charges.. on top of all that, I opted out of the insurance they provide as I am a very aware driver but they charged me anyways… for 2 days.. both for the overpriced filthy Uhaul for 2 days and another 2 days of insurance which I opted out of.. nothing but delays, overpriced fees (.99 cents A MILE), hassles, and no responses. What a rip off.

THORA MTerrible terrible experience. Tires were bald I asked for different equipment they made me sure the tire was fine. 2 hours later blow out almost crash . When picked up at mr.b’s there is a loose pit bull. Took me hour to get equipment even with doing express checkin online to save time .

Stacie WTrailer wasnt ready. Had to go to this location. Owner was very unfriendly. He wanted to charge us again...we refused. He finally hooked the trailer to the truck. We went to do straps which were a mess. Owner refused to help. We had to take truck and trailer back to main store where they had to fix straps and load car....absolute mess from start to finish.

Donald WThe facility is closed on Saturday. I was not notified of this. I checked the truck out online and notated the truck being dirty at time of pick up. When I got my final invoice I was $25 cleaning fee. The truck wad dirty when I picked it up.

tim hAfter paying the tolls in cash during our trip, we were notified of requiring to pay for tolls a second time. After disputing the claim based on the fact we already paid tolls, no additional correspondence occurred between us and u-haul, before my card was charged anyways. Congratulations, uhaul, you've just lost a customer from here on by engaging in poor business practices. My business will invest in your direct competition's business for its needs from now on.
Zachary DPlace is a small engine repair shop with Uhaul trailers scattered about the property, some of which appear to have not been moved in some time. Mr. B told me to park the trailer in a grass lot between 2 others. I did and he had someone unkook it. He told me I "was good" and sent me on my way. Apparently he did not check the trailer back in with U-haul as I am now in dispute over late charges with the Billing section even though I returned the trailer within 24 hours of renting it.
Patrick MArrived at 4:20 pm, nobody there to help us unhitch. Nobody answered phone. Had a VERY difficult time getting trailer off hitch ball. Lot was full of mud and almost got stuck.
