We had rented a few months 3 truck, to bring our stuff From ca to Wa, 2 out of 3 times we had to travel over 2 hours to pick up the trucks. We were not happy about that therefore we will never rent from Uhaul ever again. And no we will not suggest our friends either.Ruth W.
The customer service ( about 15 calls) and after waiting on hold for 30-40mins each rime could not eesolve the over charge for neglect ro answer the phone at the locarion where they charged me an extra $190 for a dolley i know for a fact was in the truck. along with the other one that was secured ro the wall. i still have not spoke ro anyone who can resolve my issue. i have always had a food experience with wvery other location except rhis one they were horrible in even recognizing they STOLE $190feim me and im not ritch. i cannot afford their neglect of my money. i may have to go ro penski or anywhere else if they can't figure out the customer service issues they have and the app could not download my self check in oics otherwise im verry dissapointed and pissed off please management call meStephen A.
Equipment was clean yes. Would I recommend this U-Haul rental location, my answer Has to be yes. It's the only one in the immediate mountain community. I was however not satisfied at all with the agent/clerk who handled the rental check out. Very rude and discourteous. The clerk Had no qualms about being nasty. When I pulled into the lot I mistakenly parked in the wrong spot. Proper Parking spaces and areas are not well defined. It was my first time pulling in as a customer. Might be my lastJosue C.
I reserved the trailer online at Uhaul.com for pick up in Fullerton Ca, only to he informed the reservation was no good because no availability. I had to drive to Anza yo get what I needed.Samuel T.

I had to drive from Palm Desert to Anza ( approximately 38 miles one way ) to pick up the truck and drive back to Palm Desert! Plus they could not confirm my rental until 24 hrs before pick up! When I dropped the truck off in Manteca, CA, staff not knowledgeable and I had to tell them every little detail, including that I had rented a storage unit through them there! Lots of walking to the very end of the storage unit yard and back to the office in the heat to get things right. There was a padlock on my unit that should have been removed by the employee when I arrived but instead I had to walk back to the office to tell them to walk out there abd remove it. Customer Service there sucked! I've rented Uhaul trucks in the past but this by far was the worst experience I've ever had! Never again. You've lost me as a customer.Elizabeth S.

The experience and vendor was outstanding. When My signal light did not work I was given help trouble shooting and we would a blown fuse. THE PART THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE WAS THAT UHAUL MADE ME DRIVE OVER THE MOUNTAINS FROM PALM DESERT TO PICK-UP EQUIPMENT. I SHOULD OF BEEN COMPENSATED FOR THE DRIVE.Sidney B.

Well this location was 44 minutes away from the original location which was about 10 minutes away. I was originally scheduled to pick up at 8:00 am then after the change of location was notified that I couldn't pick up until 10:00 am. So besides an extra hour and a half drive round trip versus a 20 minute round trip I had to push the pickup time back by two hours. Once I got the the trailer lights were not working so had to wait on that to be repaired also.James N.
The uhaul broke down and I was not given a full refund or refunded for the gas I purchased for the uhaul. Roadside assistance didn't answer or respond in a timely manner to switch out the broke down uhaul for a running uhaul. Customer service over the phone was rude and unhelpful. I was forced to slowly drive to a different uhaul location and then an entirely new truck which I paid in full for. The I was charged full price for the uhaul that broke down on me. The field manager gave me a partial refund after charging me full price for a unmaitenenced no air-conditioning run down old truck.... I will not use uhaul services again. I have called over 5 times requesting my funds back this has been a huge inconvenience and a expensive headache.Ashley D.
