Matt A.Clean the vehicle before renting to the next customer. I complained to the female staff member that seem unbothered. There was dog hair every where, with mud on the floorof the rental van had not been clean. It was not nasty and dirty. I had to ask for two blankets to cover the seats, it was disgusting. I would have canceled but I had a promise commitment to deliver a recliner to my elderly aged parents. With Covid on the rise cleaniness & sanitization should be routine practice ,a priority. Reimbursement or Credit of some form for a later reservation should be granted in my opinion. As a patronizing customer from other locations (this location was closest to my delivery location.) No one should pay for unclean, unhealthy, flity van rental services. I have rented from Uhaul before, but I never experienced â¸anything like this before. My comments are not for malicious intent, but to hopefully avoid anyone else from having my same experience.
Shelton G.They charged me for extra miles!! And it was a dollar per mile. Went to U-Haul and picked the truck up, took it to my house to load, took truck to area to drop off loaded items and then returned the truck Truck never driven "extra miles". I think it is a scam and I might contact my bank and file a claim against the charge. Extremely unethical. Do they do all their business this way?

Belem P.First I came in without a reservation and the lady at the front desk wasn't helpful at all because when I first came I ask her if she has a 20 foot truck and she said Iook for you and then she said no even though I checked out the website and there are some trucks left Then I told her if I booked it online will you help me with that she said no because there are no trucks available when I left I've booked a truck at the same location by the website and then came in at the front desk to get the keys from her she told me that I took someone's else reservation. and this reservation is mine now because I stole it from the other guy I don't know who is she talking about she was rude she wasn't helpful at all and she even threw the key on the table. I don't know if she always treats customers like this, or she is racist!!

I don't see how a company would try to over Charge when the gas isn't at the right level. But when it's above it they reimburse you for it. You have to take it as lost I don't think that's fair.

But I, as a business mindedness individual myself, felt it imperative to let Uhaul know that I had a miserable experience at this location. I got the equipment I needed and the van was very nice, efficient, effetive, etc. I have used Uhaul probably more than the average bear and I will continue to use Uhaul. But I absolutely hated this location. The lady running it barked orders, would not engage with me at all. Was not knowledgeable about the equipment or why my rate I was charged was higher than what I booked for. When I returned the van, she actually quite literally laughed at me. I will never go back there. And I will be recommending anybody I happen to know in need of a uhaul to go to the store in Concord NC on HWY 29. If I was a territory manager or franchise manager at uhaul I would make sure this associate does not cross paths with customers in order to keep the branch going. Or. Just buy the entire storage complex altogether and kick her ass out.

I decided to let it go because it would be of a headache than what I want to deal with. I will just spread the work thru my network of 100k social media followers about uhaul and this location.

Joe H.I did everything online but day of pick up9am now you need a picture of me and my Driver's license picture ok now it said found truck then I got to inside for key 🔑 and clerk got to look me up to make sure everything good before I get key ,key should've been in the van then you calling people to verify me people don't answer phones numbers they don't know all should've been done days before rental and key should've been at Van not inside where your clerk clearly is busy and a line out the door was there at 9am after all the BS I left with the Van at 9:30am 30mins wasted you need to fix that over all the van drives good and was nice the clerk was very nice and pleasant but time wasted
Shewan H.I made a reservation for a specific location and a specific size truck and then I was called by U-Haul to tell me that they upgraded me to a larger truck, which would not fit where I was going, and I ended up having to go out of my way to get the size truck that I had ordered. That is a terrible system for customers. Inconvenient

I was also charged an extra $52 for "10 gallons of fuel" when I only drove 30 miles and used an eighth of a tank of gas. The truck itself was fine but service was terrible.

Linda M.Will never rent from uhaul again. When we received the uhaul it was filthy front and back. There was someone's leftover McDonald's in the front and the back had dried up mud. The first day we got it we broke down and waited a very long time for roadside assistance to answer the phone and had to find someone to jump us. Upon trying to return it on time, it wouldn't crank up again. Waited on roadside assistance once again which took forever. We spent more time trying to fix issues and clean it while we had it, which made this experience very unpleasant and I am filing a small claim as I was held 70$ and then charged 190! Lady was rude and would not refund anything! I was duped and scammed and uhaul made my moving experience absolute hell.

We jump started and took it to our new home and once we unloaded, again we needed to jumpstart to move the rental Out of the driveway. The next morning on the way to return it, the battery needed another jump.
