The female clerk failed to make correction to the correct gas indicator in the system prior to drop off location as she stated created an unwarranted stressful moment at the rental drop-off location. I was very disappointed and lied to by this female clerk. The male clerk in uniform was understanding of misunderstanding on mileage rate and tried supporting the needs within guidelines and that I appreciated. But unfortunately, prior to my leaving this location, the clerk upon my repeated request came outside to witnessed the gas gauge of a slight less than half tank (different from my signed contract prior to my inspection-where initially I believed U-Haul about the status of their equipment) and she said she would make the changes in the system prior to my drop off. She lied and supported my initial feeling of uneasiness of the our conversation. I was also disappointed that I had to go inside the fencing area end of lot besides the building to get my equipment parked last truck in the line of all the equipment line up, as opposed to the equipment brought to the front of building for my pick up as a witnessed service for another customer and at other locations. Again I was disappointed and experienced very unpleasant front desk customer service and courtesy. Overall my experience was unpleasant and expectations were not met at this not preferred location, being that I reside in Charlotte near many other U-Haul locations, not Harrisburg.EMMA M.

Pick up from this location was simple, employees were friendly and the truck was clean. Not related to this location, but U-Haul as a whole --I was not happy that my truck only had a 1/4 tank of gas in it, so I immediately had to add gas after pulling off the lot -- this should be something U-Haul is responsible for as part of preparing the truck for a reservation. Because I had to add gas myself, I wasn't able to deplete the gas tank and then refill to the starting amount before returning my truck (as they demonstrate when you're reserving your truck), I instead had to do the process backwards, which ended up costing me $20 in unused gas, so I basically did U-Haul's job for them and they got an extra $20 worth of gas out of me. If you're wondering whether U-Haul reimbursed me for this or not, I filed a dispute after my experience and they said it's not within their policy to reimburse customers who return the trucks with extra fuel. But, it's clearly also not their policy to give you a truck that's ready for the road, so do what you want with this. Again, this location is fine, the problem is with U-Haul itself and their policies.Cooper H.

Driver side front tire was nearly flat (36 psi on tire that calls for 120 psi). No on site air compressor and they didn't know about the problem until I pointed it out. Was told to go ahead and take the truck and call the 800 number for service when I got home! Told me to take truck across the road to gas station with free air (compressor broke when I got there). Found air at third place I stopped and pumped tire to 70 psi (max pressure available).Ian H.

The guy at this location was not responsive, hardly answers the questions and provided van has dog furs in it and asked him to clean it but he just sweeped it with broom and dog furs were as it is, didn't vacuumed it. I was in hurry so instead of arguing I took the van, vacuumed the van by myself and used it. Not good experience.Sunil M.
