I was supposed to use the app to pick up the uhaul but that was confusing luckily the wonderful staff at Mr. Tires Service was there to assist me with the pick-up and make it extremely easy! Only improvements would be the app process it was not self explanatory and no one called as they were supposed to so I knew what to do upon pick-up.

DO not over book. Do not assume someone will be ok with truck they need to pick up a ridiculous distance from their reservation . Staff could have been A LOT more pleasant and act like they actually WANTED to be helping me instead of making me feel like a burden, due to actions U-HAUL made. Ask for CONFIRMATIONS that the person renting the truck as received the changes in location. I felt like the only reason to not do this is to make more money by adding on miles and gas. I will never use u haul again after using them multiple times in the past 3-4 years for moves and transporting sound equipment ect. to locations outside the city.

I will never use uhaul again. I would rather pay way more at Enterprise then be treated the way I was. You guys need to get it together and maybe have better training!

My whole rental process was a nightmare! I made multiple reservations and had them changed and/or cancelled. Kristy from customer service and Dan at this location saved the day!!! I was thrilled with them both. Uhaul rental and reservations leave MUCH to be desired!!!! I also had 2 other families have nightmares this past weekend with their twin cities reservations. I recommend Dan and Kristy, but not the online reservation procedure.

The van had pet hair all over the seats, bug juice all over the bumper, dust all over the outside and smelled like greasy chips inside when I picked it up. Not sure what the turnaround time was between the last renter and myself, but wish it had been cleaned for me.

I was on my phone doing a mobile pick up. I'm almost done fishing the process on my phone and then some other person comes with keys to my truck and says it's theirs. I'm at the live verification part with my ID and photo and tell them someone is taking my truck and asked them to call me. They just said sorry nothing we can do and told me to go inside and ask for help. I thought they was terrible service and felt like they were just passing the buck. Then I go inside and there's a line at the counter, something I was trying to avoid by using mobile... I have to wait another 20 minutes to talk to someone to find out just what is going on. I finally get to talk to someone and they find me a new truck after going through the process again. They said they accidentally gave my truck away while I was processing it. The guy was nice but the overall experience was terrible. It was almost 1pm when I finally got my truck so I lost an hour of moving time because of this mistake by U haul. I would hope you could do something to make this right. It was quite the inconvenience as I was on a tight schedule which is why I picked mobile but it costed me an extra hour of my time. Email me to get a hold of me and correct this some way.

One complaint: I was moving an upright piano. When I called to reserve a truck, I asked what the best option is. He said, “Not the cargo van because you don’t want to lift it in. You’ll want the 10-footer.” He then proceeded to tell me his story about moving a piano for a friend and how much it sucked. We had a nice conversation. When I went to pick the truck up a couple weeks later, I had a nice conversation with the gentleman working at the counter. Easy check-in and I was on my way. I met some friends at my destination over an hour away. I opened the back and didn’t see a ramp. I called to ask if I was just missing something. I was then informed the 10-foot trucks don’t have ramps... ?? Huh? I was specifically told to get this one so I didn’t have to lift a 600-pound piano 4 feet into the air to get into the back of a truck. Thankfully there were 4 of us and we were able to lift it in and out, but I’m very mad it had to come to that. Just a heads up to anyone moving a piano, or anything for that matter; the 10-foot trucks don’t have ramps...

one persaid truck was there and ready and I could pick it up early, when I got there that was not so, but they did give me a bigger truck instead for same price. I checked the truck it had a bad tired and could not take it on the road, but he did arrange for another one on the spot. He was very nice and out did himself to get me on the road. As for the guy I talked to on the phone from there not sure he knew what he was talking about. Checking the trucking and having them ready to go might be of some help.

Cumbersome after hours return with required mobile device. Too many photos required after an exhausting day of moving. (This is a U-Haul requirement.)

The UHaul service supplied by Mr. Tire was excellent. However, we were forced to use Mr. Tire at the last second because the location at 2501 N 2nd St, Minneapolis, MN 55411 did not have our truck we initially reserved months ago. We showed up the morning of our move to pick up the truck and the employee who runs the UHaul was not even there, thus we had a random employee from the mechanic shop trying to help us but he was unaware of how to use any of the UHaul services. Regardless, our truck was not on site for us to rent anyway. We were very lucky that Mr. Tire was able to accommodate us for our move or it would have been very distressing for our day. Unacceptable.

The app camera didn’t work and the 24/7 phone number wasn’t answered in a timely manner. I couldn’t get my truck until an hour later than my reservation. The location itself was fine during the day. I probably would not have felt safe picking up my truck alone at night, if I were to take advantage of the 24/7 aspect of the app. Otherwise this area is relatively convenient to downtown Minneapolis and Northeast.

I would have appreciated them looking at the vehicle with me. I left without feeling confident the return would be handled. It was, but I felt like I was not a priority, more of an interruption in the clerks day.

The man at the counter was very nice and helped my daughter and I through the process. We had never rented a truck before and he made us feel comfortable. He was very friendly and professional. Truck got good gas mileage. I used 7 dollars worth of gas. So I filled it back up to where it was and then some. Would def use them again in the future.

The rear bumper was damaged, the check engine light was on but I was told to ignore it because it was the fuel cap sensor.

This was noted in the report prior to me renting, but there was a gap between the rear carriage and the cab in the front, and since it was snowing there was some snow coming in through that space. It didn't impact my ability to drive the vehicle, and appears to be something the owners knew. I was very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the people working at this location. It was a seamless rental for me and I would recommend this location again.

It was a wet day so there were dirty shoe marks in the truck. When i kicked it up he said, if you spill something or dump something clean it. Of course, however they charges me 25.00 to mop out the truck. i am NOT very happy about that. Otherwise everything was prefect.

I ordered and my online reservation and check-in indicated that a furniture dolly was reserved. At pick-up, i was informed that no dolly was available. I just about had to cancel the whole thing, until I made a call and my problem was solved. No attempt to apologize for this...just that "that was online", no dolly here.

Customer service could have been improved. When asking if there was a dumpster where I could drop a few last minute items that couldn't fit in my apartment's recycling area, I was laughed at. I don't feel this was an unreasonable question/request and felt the way it was handled was quite rude.

My issue is with the uhaul on-line reservations system. My reservation made the day prior to pick up confirmed this location. Fine print at the bottom reads that if my vehicle choice isn't available the day of, another location for pick-up will be assigned. Morning of pick-up, I receive a text that pickup location has changed to one across town. Soooooo not right. After calling central reservations, I was able to pickup at original location as long as I had the vehicle returned within a few hours, not the 6 originally reserved. It worked, but quick a surprise.
