My Uhaul was not swept out by the previous user (left old broken bungee cords) but it did not impact my use. This experience was super easy and worth the money!
Olivia KWhen I picked up the truck, the back had dirt in it. There was no where on the online check in to say it was dirty. I also didn’t get the 12 furniture blankets I requested. I trusted the clerk & neglected to count them. Upon returning the truck, I was short 2 blankets which I never received in the first place. I had to pay $16 for them. That was my fault for not counting the blankets but the clerk didn’t give me the correct count in the first place. But - the location was convenient & the clerk was friendly.
BONITA PThe only issue I had was the right back tire was low and it informed me on the dash info. It didn’t affect my trip but I was unsure if I was supposed to put air in it myself ? I did bring it to the attention of the lady at guest services when I returned the vehicle. It was easy to drive really clean and guest services at Shop n Save were very nice, friendly and professional Would recommend to others.
TONI PThis truck has a large hole in the roof. Also the steering is so loose you can't keep it in the lane. Drivers door won't unlock from outside and you have to crawl in from passenger side.
MELANIE GThe truck rented needs to be taken out of service. It had previous damage, the drivers door barely closed, wouldn’t unlock with the key and the truck was horribly out of alignment. Thankfully we were only hauling a short distance.

WAYNE SThis is not the fault of the workers there. They are great. However, the truck I rented should not be rented out to anyone. Driver side door damage. The door pops and is extremely hard to close correctly. The key hardly works to open the drivers side door. The key doesn't work to open the passenger side door. The volume knob does not work on the radio.
Ryan KWe were working with the last for half an hour. She couldn't scan our IDs. I couldn't take pics of them on my phone. No matter how fast we were it timed me out. Horrible experience. I would never recommend or use uhaul again. And there should be a ramp on every truck even the small ones. The windows were dirty. Someone from the uhaul should be responsible to clean the trucks before renting them to another user.
jonh hWas unable to retrieve the uhaul before the store opened as promised because rental equipment was not assigned to my order. Had to call customer service twice. Pick up was easy after the store opened.
Jenna DOverall, the rental experiences was very good. My only problem was I had difficulty trying to complete the rental online and had to call but the person I talked to was very helpful..

Robert WIt was confusing to figure out where to go to get the key for the truck. There was no sign on any building indicating that the registration was inside the grocery store. The truck was clean on the inside, but the windshield was filthyy. We had to clean it before we could travel.

Kathy TWell. It wasn't a bad experience at all. But. Make sure the trucks get fresh oil and fluids along with a time up. And also good tires just in case someone has to pull up in the grass. Or make them 4-wheel drive

francis bI was charged for two different uhaul reservations. I only needed and requested one. Then I got charged for $437 for the uhaul I never used.
Evan KPicking up the uhaul it took 5 minutes just to have someone ask what I needed. The truck was not clean. The lady issuing the truck was very rude and unprofessional. Won't be back!
David KI was billed an extra $29 but I’m not sure what it’s for. Didn’t give info. I also filled the gas tank above the halfway mark before checking and realizing I wouldn’t get reimbursed for the extra fuel. It’s convenient to pick up and drop off without a representative but I didn’t have time to read all the paperwork as I was moving. If I had more time I could have saved money on the gas, and found out what the extra $29 charge was for.
Timothy LYou changed my reservation from a van to a 10foot truck. I needed a VAN!!!! The situation required a VAN!! If I thought anyone actually cared about my experience I'd try to get a refund but knowing how worthless the customer service is I'd rather just take the L and move on with my life. You asked so I told you. This company sucks and it makes me want to spend every dime I have on lottery tickets so I can win and start a competing business, charge half price and drive Uhaul into the ground!!

stephen kI did everything online and since the hours for the store aren’t updated U-Haul thought the store was closed so I couldn’t use the app to check in then when I went inside I had to start all over with the process. Truck had a few things inside, a grate from a ceiling light, dash receptacles had debris in them so I cleaned it all out because I didn’t want charged!

Sandra KYour software/website application process is unsatisfactory. There is nowhere on the site to checkout when you drop off the equipment. Also, you make the process harder for those who choose not to pay the “extra insurance “, which is just customers paying the company’s premiums. The online application needs to have a drop off checkout selection so you can finish. The photo upload just kept loading and never came up. Not pleasant.
Michael SIt was an interesting situation in which the Shop 'n Save had a trailer and opened up at 7:00 a.m. However, because they usually do not rent u-hauls, it took me an hour and a phone call to U-Haul to be able to rent the vehicle and get out the door. The staff could not have been more pleasant and willing to help, but were not knowledgeable on using the computer program to rent out the trailer. In addition, the U-Haul website let me rent a utility dolly which the Shop 'n Save did not have. While the process did not flow as it should have, everything worked out because of everyone's willingness to work together.
