Very dirty being with Covid do you think the place would be more cleaner the guy that took care of us was a very nice gentleman but the mask he was wearing looks like it was two years old since Covid started and the truck that they gave me did not want to go over 65 felt like the trans was slipping in the steering column was very loose so it was scary driving back to Chicago did not feel safe in that truck I have rented lots of U-Haulâ€˜s before this is the first time I was not happy with the truck that they gave us 😢Alice C.

I'm appalled by the service we received at this location. The person that attended us was rude, disrespectful, and insulting for no reason. He arrived late to the location and as we waited outside he approached me he asked me what I needed. I told him I had a reservation and he walked away to attend to another customer that was also waiting. When he came back I repeated my response to him and he stated â€œyeah I heard you the first timeâ€. We proceeded to go inside and as we conversed about driving the uhaul vehicle I told him that on my way to the location I was having a conversation with my wife about how I would find driving a motorcycle difficult but not a uhaul. He responded â€œ no fucking differenceâ€. I told him that for me it's just the fact of having to change gears and he responded â€œ not everyone is smart buddyâ€. I did not reply to his rude and insulting remark and stayed quiet. I wanted to get out of there but we really needed the rental as our lease is up in our apartment. I decided to just stay quiet. Even when we told him not to worry for being late and that we understood, he acted this way with us. I have never seen anyone treat a customer this way. No one deserves this type of treatment. Moving is already stressful why treat a customer this way? This was my first time using a uhaul unfortunately it will also be my last I have never experienced this type of treatment in any other business. I was told U-Haul would load my car properly onto the dolly. I was told I would need to crawl under my car and attach chains to the frame. With this being critical for safety, why force a disabled customer who has no experience to do the. Additionally, I could not find the location for pickup. I had to call 4 times. I could nit find a U-Haul sign because there was none. In my last call, the employee was obviously angry. I responded â€œI am not an idiotâ€ to which the employee relied â€œI'm not so sure.â€Michael W.
I get to place to get truck there is no place to get key had to knock on company door lady very very very rude. Truck dirty with bugs and mess all over front of truck inside decent but food crumbs and sunflower seeds all over. THE MOST I AM UPSET IS MILAGE DID NOT MATCH WHAT MY UHAUL APP SAYS ONLINE AND MY CHARGED IS BEING CHARGED FOR RHEIR MESS UP. I DID CALL THE TIME OF PICK UP THAT IT DID NOT MATCH AND SAID WOULD BE FIXED I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED AND WELL THEY DID CHARGE ME I AM VERY UPSET ALL AROUND SERVICE VERY POOR. Absolute garbage Uhaul company is. We reserved a uhaul on Monday for a Saturday use. 1. The pick up location in Mercedes had no clue we were going. 2. Uhaul decided that to change our pick up location in Corpus Christi without our knowledge. 3. Corpus Christi is 2 and a half hours away from our original place. 4. Kept telling us there was nothing for them to do to get us on the road. 5. Finally was able to talk them into finding me something due to our reservation confirmation. And they found a place in Brownsville. An hour and a half away from the reservation location! Will never use Uhaul again. Unacceptable! Kept making excuses that I had the wrong phone number and wrong email on file yet I had the reservation information and many email helpful tools to get ready for my move! Unorganized and doesn't have any communication with their customers or subcontractors.DaniElle N.

When you have a reservation and an account yet your account states you have no reservation something should be done to assist the customer in CORRECTING the data. You, U Haul wants to be tech friendly yet every single time I have rented a vehicle in the last 8 months I have NOT been able to access the reservation OR better yet check the vehicle in upon return thus being charged a 20.00 surchargePAUL V.
I made a reservation in Harlingen on Morgan got there at 9 am on Saturday to be told that my reservation was not scheduled when I had gone there to the same location a week b4 and secured the uhaul. I was sent to the Brownsville location where the representative was fantastic and very helpful and knowledgeable. Yet in Harlingen I was not even given an apology or a reason for not having a truck available. Need additional training in customer service. Will never go back to that location..JUANA M.

Actually no improvement is necessary. Attendent was very courteous and informed us of all the necessary requirements. Thank you U haul, you made our move alot easier than expected. Hope we don't have to move soon, but if we do we surely will use this u haul rental place again. Thanks..consuelo A.

I experienced a break down with the trick that I rented. I was down for a total of 2 hours in the scorching sun. I was given 2 extra hours but my pick up and delivery was not completed that day. I had to pay for a hotel and pay my workers an extra day. I was not compesated for anything. I paid double of what I expected.HECTOR JAVIER G.
