I can't think of anything to improve about my recent 6x12 trailer rental experience. I've used Myers for my U-Haul needs several times in the past few years and they're always so helpful and friendly.

VALERIE BStaff and service was fabulous - truck was junk! The inside of the trailer portion was spotless. However the key hole to the driver door was completely missing. The attendant had to unlock the passenger door, crawl across and unlock the driver door - I would think with a company as big as UHAUL - they wouldn't have substandard equipment. Again - not Myers Automotive fault, and they were very accommodating.

MICHAEL PTrailer had a vibration at about 35 mph unloaded, 55 mph loaded that needs to be looked into. Limited my speed to under 50 mph while towing the loaded trailer. Overwise, everything went great with the rental.
TIMOTHY CAir conditioner only worked for 10 minutes at a time. Engine needed plugs and wires replaced based on engine diagnostic' I ordered 12 furniture pads and they had none. Also ordered a dolly and also out of them. Do to engine misfiring gas mileage was very poor and cost me an extra $85 in gas. Will not use U-Haul again.

John DReceived a phone call about 5 minutes before closing time on Friday to let me know they were putting me in a different truck. Called back the customer service line because the location did not answer to confirm and was told everything was ready to go. It was my fault I was late picking up the truck as I was waiting for my help to arrive and had to wait for about 20 minutes for the call to be answered. The location was not open as stated on the website. Was able to get that situation resolved and then when I was trying to finish the checkin I was given the wrong keys. Had to call back for help and wait another 20 minutes for the call to be answered. Then had to wait for the representative to contact the location. When we able to access the other lock box still didn’t have the keys to the correct truck. Had to look in other truck to find the dolly that was rented and then had to change it to two different vehicles. The key did not work in the drivers side door so had to use the passenger side and climb through.

Kelly ASupposed to pick up truck at 7pm. No key in Dropbox. It was an hour and a hold round trip. Called 800 number. Was told we could pick up at 6am next morning. Drove another hour and a half and they didn’t open until 8. Took 3 trips to finally get truck. Had reserved 12 blankets. Location didn’t have blankets. Lady helping me at location was nice and credited me miles and the day we didn’t get. Also took $10 out of her own pocketbook to pay for missing blankets. Although she was apologetic and tried to make it right, this was a major issue for our move and caused us to be days behind where we needed to be in our move.

Gary TMake sure they exsplane the insurance is per day not a one time charge. We were not told that the price of 16.00 a day and not a one time fee for length of rental. Also was given 40 miles at day of rental and when we took it back they did not adjust the mileage. They charged the full mileage. When I called to say we needed a extra day or two she (Jennifer) I ask about allow the mileage and she said she would adjust it not to worry about it. When we went to turn it in she was not there so her spouse waited on us and was very rude, so my husband try to tell him we were allowed 40 miles and that Jenifer said she would take care of it and he got a little hostile with us. This ended up costing us 485.00. 185.00 more dollars more than we exspected. Very disapointed in u-haul rep.
