JARED SMade an online mobile-pickup reservation, was told this location “doesn’t do that”. Had to set up a whole new one and was told I wouldn’t be double charged - I was. We called 13 times before someone picked up, and was told they couldn’t help over the phone. Worst ubaul location, but the truck was clean and didn’t smell like smoke so that’s a plus. One star for employees, 4 stars for the actual truck.

Scott AI found the gentleman at this location to be rude. In fairness, I was late getting to the location due to problems I had getting to the car rental place to first drop off my car and then get an uber to the location. With that being said, I found them to be rude and the business was dirty and not very impressive. One gentleman did take the time to show me everything in the truck that I rented, and I very much appreciated that.

Dan GThe employees were not helpful at all. Almost like they didn’t want to work. After them telling my hitch was rated to high they wanted to send me away with no rental. I asked if there was a solution he said he said he could sell me a hitch that works. upon his recommendation, I bought the hitch he said would work took it out to my truck and it in fact did not work however I was not allowed to return it as he does not accept returns. He then sent me down the street to AutoZone, where I paid another $80 for another hitch that will actually work. Then we continue on our road trip. We get 500 miles away from our destination and the tire blows. It was very clearly an old tire that was in no position to drive across country. They tried to do some maintenance on the trailer before we left Colorado, but clearly it was not enough. Upon returning to the final U-Haul destination, they tried to refund me for the hitch that I wasn’t able to use and turns out it was sold to me under a different business name, not under U-Haul, which is why I could not return it…… which is weird considering the gentleman in Colorado tried to buy it back for me for half the price he sold it to me for…. My guess is that was his cost and he was just gonna put it on the shelf and make extra money off of it, which is why I kept it. Either way that Fort Collins office is doing some shady business.
Geri FQuick and easy pickup. Uhaul rep took time to explain things and did a complete check to make sure the trailer was hitched securely and all trailer lights were working.

Andrew KThe owner smelt like pot. All the questions we asked him was meant with go to uhaul.com and you will find the answers there. Wipers were on there last leg, headlights were way out of adjustment. Broken sun visor bracket, would not stay up.

Teresa NThe tow dolly was not as it should be I rented it had to immediately be some to get my car in a limited window I got there and the ratchet was busted could ratchet one side.. the guy renting me the dolly was more concerned with my ball cause it had scratches and used trying to get me to purchase and new one , he should of been checking his equipment over.. was a nightmare after that tire went flat had to air it up 5 times for the 4 hr drive and had a blow out on rear tire on car no spare was a horrible trip experience all the way around 👎🏻

Nathan CDid not receive text communication while standing at desk to pick up equipment. When I finally did receive text, the links had expired and I could not report the chips in the windshield. Poor customer service and poor communication via text.
MELISSA BVery dissatisfied with the checkin process. I returned the truck with the expected gas and was charged 3 gallons. I made sure to fill it up to the half level. The business said it was an 8th below that. Very wrong and I might not use U-Haul in the future.
CARL MThe vehicle had a hole in the gas tank. I had to fill it up to a quarter tank to get to my place 10 miles away. I used it for 2 hours and move items about a half of a block. The whole time gas was leaking from the tank. I returned it as soon as possible with only 30 miles left until empty. And only put on about 25 miles.
Delmar SThe gentleman at the store was incredibly rude. The van was not ready at the designated time, which confused the process more. No apologies for not being ready. I had to ask for the additional equipment I rented since it was missing from the van. Drop off was equally rude. Will use another location next time. I do not recommend this location at all.

STEVEN T2 days to check in our trailer. Would not answer the phone or return our phone messages. Closed early so our trailer just sat there and the next day still did not return our trailer. I needed to call the main office twice to get the situation resolved and not sure it is yet

DAVID NI rented a van to take some donations t from my shed to Habitat for Humanity. Online experience was fine, interactions with the employees was awful. This u-haul nun out of a dirty storefront (although van was clean)

Michael MThe manager was very rude when I asked clarifying questions, and was just overall not friendly. Also, they are virtually impossible to contact. This was experienced by both U-Haul Support and myself when we tried texting and calling the phone number they provided for us. I had movers coming later in the day, so I set my pickup time to be earlier in the day so I could have everything ready for them. We started by packing my car and another car full of boxes before loading the bigger items into the trailer. When we opened the trailer, there was a disgusting and heavy mattress inside. When I picked up the trailer, I asked "Is there anything inside?" to which I was told no (looking inside was also not a part of the inspection protocol from my end). This ended up being a massive inconvenience that cost me a lot of money that I was paying my movers to be there for because we ended up driving for about 2 hours trying to figure out where to go to get the mattress taken care of. When talking to UHaul Support on the phone (because I could not get in contact with No Limit Services), she blamed the problem on me for not checking inside (even though it is not on the UHaul checklist) and doubted me because it had been a couple of hours since I picked up the trailer (not sure why that would matter). When I went back to No Limit Services, as advised by the woman on the phone, the manager just stood there, stared at it, said he couldn't do anything about it, and then blamed me once again. He gave me the wrong address for another UHaul location, and I had to wait on the phone for 30 minutes at the wrong location to figure out the correct one. The correct one was 30 minutes (each way) away, to which it finally got taken care of.

Nadia MI originally reserved a trailer at a closer location, about 5 mins from where I was staying. Uhaul claims they texted me, the day before pickup, to tell me the pick-up location changed as the original location apparently did not have the trailer they initially let me reserve. But I never received that text. I don't know why they would even let me make a reservation at that location if they wouldn't have that trailer available on the day I requested. I was also working on the day of pickup, a Saturday, but I was having my father pick it up, which I was told would be fine if he just explained when he got there. After talking with the people at the original pick-up location, they told him he could just go to the new pick-up location, about 30 mins away, and get the trailer. They talked at the original location and my father assured them he knew how to properly hook up the trailer(hitch, chains, plug, all that). After picking up the trailer he had sent a picture of how he hooked it up to the original pick-up location, and they said everything was good. Shortly thereafter, I get a call from the second pick-up location, in Fort Collins, telling me the trailer was gone and they were about to call the police to report it stolen. After explaining what happened, the man I spoke to still told me that my father had turn around and go back to the Fort Collins location "or he's going to jail." My father complied and headed back towards the Fort Collins location. Before he turned back he had texted the same image of how the trailer was hooked up to the man I spoke to on the phone. Not until he was about 5 minutes away, the guy texts him back basically saying that, yes, it was hooked up properly, and everything was fine. I did not receive even an apology, much less any discount or something similar, for them threatening to call the police on my father for virtually no reason, only for them to eventually say there was no issue.
Yousef JEmployees not friendly, and when asked a question about loading the trailer, the response was "we don't help you load, and won't load it for you".
Paul DOwner worked very hard to make sure the truck was in top shape before I left, even checking tire pressure and cleaning windows.

James HThe truck was in tip top condition. Coming through Wyoming from Colorado were some pretty steep grades and the truck, with a very full load took them in stride. No overheating, no nothing. Perfect!
