Judy LMore clarity needed about the fee structure for rental of the truck needs to be provided. I was told rental would be $29.95, but no mention was made about the 1.59 per mile additional charge, neither were the other additional fees (cleaning, recovery, environmental). Further, more consistent quality customer service needed at UHaul customer service locations. Initially I was told I could pick up a 15 foot box truck at location near Factoria Mall. When I came to pick up the truck, I was sent to location way over on west side of Bellevue, but they were closed. Then I was sent to location in Eastgate side of Bellevue and got chastised for being 15 minutes late. The Regional representative never called ahead to let the local service reps know that I was on my way and running late because of errors on the part of UHaul. To top it off there were three billing statement errors and I had to sort out which of the three billings was the correct one.
Cheryl KSuper friendly and helpful getting me out the door. Validated my SignIn options and added a furniture dolly that I decided I needed. Suggested that over a hand truck for moving some large leather chairs. Great experience all around.
Jordan PI returned a clean truck and fueled up, was still charged a $25 cleaning fee and a gas fee. This place is a scam. Stay away.
Eugene FI was charged for gas that I did not use. Charges fuel service fee when I had out gas in. The represe tative did not come out to check out the truck with me on pick and return. I feel like I was taken advantage of.
Michael SMore clarity on what safe travel covers would be good. I spent over an hour removing it from the rental contract once I understood it only covered damage to the contents and health, not the vehicle itself.

Chuan TMy father has OCD and obsessively cleaned the inside of the truck that we were returning. The truck was absolutely spotless and could have passed for brand new. However, we were still charged a $35 cleaning fee. I think this is outrageous, but this wasn't the only hidden fee that we were charged. On the phone, I was told a 24-hour extension would cost $40. We returned the truck full of gas and perfectly clean, yet still received a bill for over $200 thanks to all the bs fees that we were not told about. Absolutely unjustifiable. I now caution everyone away from doing business with U-Haul.
