I reserved or car carrier trailer for Oak ridge tn and was assured even though he didn’t have any at that he was due several in. We traced 4 hours and had to get a hotel at this location as we had to pick up a used car we purchased. At 8 pm Friday I received to call hall for important information and when I called they said they closed at 8x. I had tried all day to get onto the app for U-Haul and they were also having problems with that so I couldn’t even see what the message may of been. I called Saturday at 815 am the day of pick up and was advised they did not have it. Then told we had to go to Rockwood tn which was 45 minutes away so I said book it. So we were headed there and I called U-Haul again to make sure nothing was any closer and the girl said oh yeah we have one in oak ridge which was the original location so we drove to it and it was a auto window so we called the location and the man said that’s his office and the trucks ect were at a different location and then he said he did not have the car trailer and did not know why U-Haul keeps booking me for it. So another call and rebooked the rockwood location. So almost 2 hours lost just trying to get the trailer that I should of picked up at 9 .it was 1130 before we picked up a trailer so really about 4 hours of time list not to mention the extra expenses of gas and a hotel. I will never use U-Haul again. This was stressful to be sick out of state and searching the areas and know we were to pick up the car by 12 which we didn’t make till 230. So it kept the seller waiting on us as well.

John GNothing was wrong with Nana’s place, other than having to drive and pay for extra mileage that was way out of my way. But dealing with not being able to pick up at the reservation site that I was originally supposed to and sitting their over an hour on the phone with customer service because they said the truck was not staged when I knew it was because I had talked to the manager the day before and he verified it was ready and waiting the day before, just never got the code sent to me for the lock box. Having my movers have to wait an extra 2 hours because of the later pickup was really unprofessional for this company and then being told that it was gonna be more expensive than originally told because of all of this was so uncalled for.

James CVery nice folks and a fast,no-nonsense turn-in. The only complaint was actually finding the place,as the Uhaul/google directions had us going down a rough,crooked pig path that could have been avoided if the directions had only shown to proceed to Airport road exit from interstate 40 instead of the way we were routed,but no fault of the turn-in location. Other than that,very pleasant experience overall.

FRANK CVery RUDE people. Would NOT help me unhook the trailer all the way! And only came out to help because I stood there and waited. It was dirty, and not clean. Would HIGHLY NOT recommend them!!!

Wayne FEmployee would not give me any confirmation paperwork when I dropped it off, so I had to take pictures. No where to park box units and the place seems like its closed down, but the owner is nice!

Linda KSo the drop off location was deceiving! They had a different name on their business and we got confused, but after we asked her the name of the place she said "we've been here awhile just haven't gotten around to change the name" it's called Jack's place Thats the only bad experience we had
samantha sI'm not sure what the normal is but after starting the truck it would be in tow mode. It only required me to press a button to deactivate this but it seems like it should be the other way around. If left in tow mode the gas mileage is seriously effected.
jim cIf you are asked to drop in a location that is more mileage than your own location, why the heck am I being charged mileage.
steven dInternet services for them was slow. Not even close to a professional establishment. Would not suggest people of color going there. Although the gentleman to assist me was decent, others associated with him were not very pleasant.

Eric WAbsolutely nothing to improve for the next customer. Jack was very helpful and friendly, he helped us hook up and quickly checked us back in when we dropped the trailer off. I would drive out of my way to rent from this location (and actually did).

Samuel HThe only issue with the drop off at Nanas Place was that there were much closer locations to my address but those were not listed as drop off options. Also, nanas place has been renamed Jacks which is confusing when trying to find it.

Jeff WPlace has changed name to Jack's. Still not sure if the man that checked the van works there or is just a friend of the new owner. He told owner everything is ok, fuel and mileage ok. Owner then told me that I was done and could go. When I asked for a receipt he told me uhaul would email me one, that uhaul tries to go paperless. This has never happened before and I have still not received a confirmation of the drop off, which makes me uncomfortable. I felt as if I inconvenienced the owner dropping off the van even so the store did not have other customers at that time.

DEBBIE DKingston location did not have any help. I reserved a car trailer and I was told I was good to go. Then I called again to confirm and no one responded to me and when I came in to get the trailer I was told they did not have it and I had to go out of my way to get the trailer. The rock wood location was great Kingston was not.
JASON GOriginally chose this place due to the late hours, was very happy service was quick and polite. Was able to walk in and get a trailer and drive out with 0 problems. Highly recommended!!
BRIAN HIt was not up to date with times...I had a reservation and they had no way to confirm it..I already paid when I made the reservation. U got tho the location and had to pay then cash as well...I was a nightmare just to be honest.
Amy MThe place was not bad. The person from u-haul helping the manager was poor. I was told on phone that I would get 50 rebate back if nothing was wrong with the truck and I brought it back in time. I will never use u-haul again. it's not the money at all it's the facts over using a u-haul and not good communication. I also told guy on phone i would be going 200 miles and he told manager to just put down 50 miles. I do not believe that is right at all especially when I knew what miles I was going.
