Truck was serviceable and in good operating condition. Some trash and spilled coffee etc left from previous customer.Reserved 2 doz moving blankets were not available at time of pickup and not available at any of next-nearest (30 miles away) locations. The two U-Haul company locations nearby that were called had over 15 minute hold times to ask about blanket availability. Neighborhood dealers called answered promptly.

Nothing wrong with the location in Caldwell. My only issue is that I had reserved this for pick-up in College Station over a week prior. The day before I get a call indicating that it will not be available in College Station and I would have to go to Caldwell to get it. What is the point in reserving something??

We rented an enclosed trailer and the overhead door was extremely hard to operate. My son spent ten minutes trying too work and ended up pinching his thumb pretty badly. The associate said they are hard. If this is an issue with all trailers it may be something to look at.

The gentleman never introduced himself. He did not check for dolly . "You cant park in front of store" was his comment as I entered NAPA store front for check-in inspection. I stated i was returning early & put in more gas than required. Ihe nbarely looked up from his phone. said nothing. His coworker nodded and smiled. I requested assistance backing the truck, as he requested of me. He did not want me parking( head-in) at side area. "That's Edward Jones". It was Saturday AND they are likely limited w-Covid. He refused to assist in parking. An underhand toss, (to him) of UHAUL key @ 5-6 feet, was met with his implication " I threw the key at him" . I picked it up from pavement and handed it to him. He threatened "there maybe an extra mileage charge to park" I repeatedly explained mirrors were not safe for me. I wonder if this is our future of business. Being self employed for 30+ years I've seen excellent to poor business skills. This neophyte seemed quite unhappy to be at work, on this Saturday. Vast difference in 2 rental locations. Brand consistency is often a challenge. I am a loyal U-HAUL customer of 50 yrs. I'll likely try to avoid NAPA all together.

Wish they had more trailers available. Went to next town over and got the trailer I needed. Very convenient to drop the trailer off in Caldwell 2 blocks from my house.

We initially booked our truck with the College Station Branch on Texas Ave., Texas and had excellent, outstanding help, guidance and above and beyond service. We picked up the truck in Caldwell, Texas where again the service was exceptional. We could not have asked for anything better.

I had an appointment for 10:00am on October 4. When I arrived a few minutes before 10:00, I was told that the Napa staff were waiting on two U-Haul guys to arrive. I waited nearly an hour for someone from U-Haul corporate to have the local Napa guy set up the trailer I reserved. As a result of the hour-long delay by U-Haul, I had four family members in Austin whose schedules had to change to help me with the delay in arriving for the furniture move. I expressed my dissatisfaction today to Nathan Booth-Cassy (store manager). He apologized and gave me a $15 credit because of the delay. This is minimal compensation considering the inconvenience and lost time I and my family experienced as a result of Napa/U-Haul's delay.
