AMADOR MWhen I got to my location to pick up furniture I opened the trailer and it was full of moving blankets, I called the store to tell them and the same guy I delt with earlier just started laughing and then asked me if they are in my way and I replied of course then he said I could bring them back! What a joke! So I had to unload them, load my furniture, load blankets back up again & then repeat this lengthy&tiring process once I reached my location. I am a 71 yr. old female doing this all on my own. The employee was so out of shape that he couldn't even get down on his knee to plug in the trailer lights I had to do that myself. I won't be back to this U-Haul location ever again!

GERARDO MHave the workers check the equipment more. One of the ratchets on the car trailer was rusted. I had to use WD40 and work on the ratchet to loosen it at make it operable.
john mStaff borderline unenthusiastic about entire rental process. Equipment was very poorly maintained.
ISAAC QThe service was excellent. The gentleman who was at the front desk took care of everything we needed, and the price was reasonable. Additionally, it was more cost-effective than reserving online. Would definitely recommend doing business in person rather than on the website.

Alan SI had a bad experience with my reservation. I originally made a reservation for a 10 foot truck with a trailer at the U-Haul at 4502 Rigsby Avenue, I did it through the U-Haul app and they gave me a price around $400 and they agreed to call me on Thursday to confirm my reservation. On Thursday afternoon they called me from U-Haul and offered me a good deal, they told me that if I change the pick up location to Floresville, they would give me a discount and give me a 15 foot truck. At first I told them no, that it was fine but the lady insisted, I finally agreed and then she told me to pick up the truck on Friday and I told her that was impossible because I was going to work on Friday, that I wouldn't be there until Saturday morning and she told me that was fine, I told her to send me a confirmation email, she sent it to me but she said that I would go pick up the truck on FRIDAY. On Saturday I went to Floresville to pick up the truck, to my surprise I didn't have a reservation and I showed them the texts that U-Haul sent me with the confirmation but when I checked my email I saw that they had cancelled my reservation because I didn't go to pick up the truck on Friday, having told the lady that I couldn't on Friday. I feel like I was deceived with that supposed "good deal" and it was also my negligence not to check that they had cancelled my reservation before going to Floresville. 😡😡😡

Andrea JThe CSR was very unfriendly. He looked @ me confused when I walked inside & approached him @ the counter. I kindly said “hello, I have a truck to Pick up …. @ which point I handed him My DL to verify my info. I returned the truck that evening when they were closed. I used my App to return the equipment & check it in. And as of 5 pm on Friday - I still had not received a confirmation email from UHaul indicating my return was accepted & satisfactory so I initiated a chat with an online CSR & she was able to process my deposit for me & I finally got it back to my debit card a little after midnight on Sunday morning so that was a little frustrating that the CSR @ that location didn’t have the consideration to do that upon arrival Friday.

DIANA GThe flooring was in poor condition and unlevel. It seemed someone had overloaded the trailer at some point causing dips and dents in the flooring. Additionally, the inside of the trailer was extremely dirty and had to be cleaned before use.
Chad MOut of the five locations that I had to go to this was the only one that was helpful. Other than that the whole U-Haul experience was hell!!
Mary MEveryone was helpful considering the electrical problems we had with the trucks instrument cluster. Scary trip but everything worked out. Major concern...PLEASE paint the wheel hubs inside the box a bright red so they are easily noticeable as they are safety trip habits
Virginia MMy drop off was after hours so the rating is less about the location than the drop off experience total. The drop box was not intuitive. I called customer support who then transferred me to the return - where I was on hold forever and never spoke to a rep. During my hold I downloaded the u-haul app and tried the return process three times. Each time the app crashed at a different part of the process and I had to start from the beginning. The last crash happened after getting near the end so I just gave up and put the key and contract in the box and left. After a long day of moving that is the last thing I wanted to deal with.

Austin HI was charged for 2 days. I returned the trailer the evening of day 1. Called the next morning to let staff know. Yet I was still charged for 2 days

george tI guess I didn't look close enough when I was reserving the 6' x 12' trailer and when I discovered that the entrance to it was more like 5' wide I was at a loss for words. Did anyone consider that someone renting a 6' wide trailer might need the have a 6' entrance to the trailer? It would be nice to have the option of renting one with the full 6' width available. Aside from that, the trailer towed very well and was heavy duty. I sold the trailer I owned and opted to just use U-Haul for my trailer needs instead of taking up space in my yard with a trailer.
