When I got to the location and did my self-check in, the website told me to go inside to grab the key to my reserved van as they do not have a lockbox at this location. However, when I went into the vape shop, their associate told me to wait - I ended up waiting for 40 minutes. When I asked why I was not able to complete my reservation by grabbing the key, the associate said his manager was not able to find my reservation in their system. When I tried to speak to his manager, the manager (on speaker phone) told me to wait patiently or call U-haul myself. I decided to call U-haul and both representatives on the phone asked why I was not getting my key and I explained the situation to them. The second U-Haul rep then stepped in and spoke to the store rep forcing him to give me the key to my van, which he was reluctant to do so. I ended up getting my van 40 minutes late but was promised a $10 discount by the U-Haul rep on the phone call. When I got the van, it was not only dirty on the outside, but the inside was also not very clean, the gas level was at 1 bar, and there was a check engine light on the van.

The owner of this location was amazing, however my experience with U-Haul as a company was terrible. My vehicle had a breakdown and I waited 2 hours in 30 degree weather for someone to fix it. The times I was quoted to wait we're never correct, the repair worker called me and made a completely inappropriate request, and all the staff I spoke to on the phone were sympathetic but completely unhelpful. I honestly don't know that I'll ever order a U-Haul again due to this experience.
Matthew KVery bad experience. Stressful, I booked a truck and trolley. They had forgotten about my reservation. I called the centre, ended up traveling to a different location, lost an hour of my elevator that building manager had booked...not happy at all, management is not responding and do not care..
MATHEW AGreat customer service! Everything was easy from beginning to end. Ali was wonderful and answered all my questions. Truck was very clean almost brand new. Drop off and pick up was easy and owner gave me his personable number in case I had any questions or concerns. First time renting U-Haul and I’ve had a great experience!
