Ronnie was great!!! Friendly and very helpful. He got us out quick so we were able to get our duties accomplished. Ronnie helped with the speedy process as well as getting us back checked in so we could cleanup, relax and proceed with the rest of our day. Ronnie made our experience easy & enjoyable!!!

This experience yielded hands down the most unbelievably unprofessional company through and through that I've come across in my 30 years of life. Starting at the heart of it with the wildly inappropriate and hypocritical "president" Don Chae. Never have I ever seen a more ridiculous or heinous display of behavior from a grown man let alone someone that was supposed to have been representing a company with any type of tact humanism or remote dignity or respect for himself, his company, and ESPECIALLY not customers, even when his customers are homeless veterans who've paid for U-HAUL services. Meanwhile U-haul apparently prides themselves on their association with Humble Design helping veterans and homeless....what a joke! When confronted with these issues, customer service operators were dumbfounded and tried to help me until they were silenced by corporate. . Don Chae needs a psych eval and a permanent unpaid vacation.

Lights didn't work, then had to dig out another trailer but they didn't change the equipment number so when I dropped it off it was a mess. They said that wasn't the one I rented.

quick fast & easy ive been else where , where they take up 30 - 40 min just confirming id , credit cards , emails etc ! i was in & out in a matter of minutes quick & easy no hassle cashier super nice & friendly told us what we were going to pay ahead of time before paying loved my experience here will be coming back to this location & recommenced people thank you .

The gentleman that was there was very friendly, I had some pieces of wood in the trailer that I was returning, I was removing the wood to my truck and he said just leave it there I will remove it later with no extra cost

The location is not routinely manned by a U Haul rep. It is a liquor store and not a desirable location. I'm glad I did not have my wife take the trailer back as originally planned I asked that the U Haul rep call me to let me know he had completed the paperwork for the turn in. I had to text him the following day and call the location to get confirmation. I had to do my own disconnect and move the trailer out of the parking area. Really poor customer service. I will never use this location again, even though it means a longer drive to drop off the trailer/vehicle.

Truck was dirty and compartment full of leaves and had to be swept before use. I could tell it hadn't been checked as there was a cart and a dolly I didn't rent. 1 trailer tire was almost flat (I didn't find that out until I loaded vehicle) and was a nightmare trying to find a gas station with air that could accommodate truck and trailer in downtown National City. Nothing checked.1 guy to run his liquor store and u haul and obviously couldn't do both.

Had a rough start with my reservation, but I have to say it took 3 locations to fulfill my needs. All of them were very patient with me and did everything to accommodate my needs. Brianna from uhaul.com was fantastic and helped make this a great experience. I also have to mention those brothers where I picked up my uhaul; they have the greatest customer service I've ever challenged. Both are great people and made my moving an extraordinary easy move. They helped me pick up a transporter after hours. Hands down, perfect customer service. Uhaul has always been my choice, but now has left me to know I will always refer and always use. To all the branches and customer service, I thank you all. From beginning to the the end, this was the utmost terrible move I've ever experienced, but with the greatest help from uhaul to make it a very grateful experience. You are all awesome.

This is a retail liquor store with U-Haul services. There was only one staff on duty so he was constantly interrupted trying to service us. That made us impatient and late. On the other hand, that guy had the best attitude; he was pleasant in spite of all he had to do, kept his smile no matter how much I grumbled. He's a Rock Star, deserves a raise!

This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. The man who worked at the convenience store and rang us up was extremely unprofessional and down right rude. To begin with, we ordered and paid for two dollies and mattress protectors. Once we arrived home, we realized he didn't put them in the truck. We had to drive all the way back to National City, and he yelled at us, saying that he asked if we needed dollies (he never asked us). So when we showed him our receipt, he went to the back to get the dollies, but informed us, "Sorry, I don't have any." So, we ended up paying our movers twice as much because they didn't have any dollies to help move our stuff. When we brought the UHaul back, we were yelled at again. He originally prorated us at $57 for the whole day, anticipating we would only be driving 25 miles, but he said if we went over 25 he would charge us more, and under 25 he would charge us less. We ended up driving 11 miles total, yet our bill came out to $123. He ended up tacking on $72 for gas (for the ELEVEN miles we drove). He had told us at the beginning that we needed to bring the UHaul back with a quarter tank of gas. We brought it back with a quarter tank and he started yelling at us that we needed to go and fill it up with more gas. We asked him very nicely to just charge us for the few dollars of gas we used, but he continued to yell at us and explain that he told us we needed to do it on our own. When we refused to fill up the tank he started screaming and told us to leave because “he was done with us.” This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever been a part of. My friend and I were legitimately scared. This man should not be running this business. He has no customer service skills, and is over the top rude and unprofessional. What type of business YELLS at their customers? I am absolutely disgusted, and I do NOT recommend this location to ANYONE!

Roger (owner) is an amazing person to work with - he cares for his customers. He did go that extra mile in making sure we questions were answered and hook-up was done correctly -- we rented an Auto Transport as well. The location is beyond his control. The condition of the truck could use some attention -- after we drove home and before we began to load I spent 45 minutes washing out the cab: Seats, Steering Wheel, Dash. One couldn't touch anything thing without sticking/dust flying, etc. Truck had plenty of power hauling our load and vehicles - no issue with the mountain passes.

The store attendant was very rude and did not want to help me unhook the trailer. I was tired from our drive and only wanted help and direction. All he did was come out at one point and tell me that he didn't want me to unload the car from the trailer where I was sitting. He said to "move it". Yet, he would not direct me to the area he wanted the trailer. After I complained about his attitude, he acted as if he did not understand what I was talking about, and quickly changed his attitude. He was obviously concerned that I may write up a negative review of him - which is exactly what this is. I was VERY disappointed in this individual as well as the location. A BIG THUMBS DOWN! I will never accept this location again. In fact, I may even reconsider using UHaul in the future - this was a disgrace to the company who I always thought had a great reputation for service. I would honestly, reconsider using this outlet if I were a U Haul executive.
