The U-Haul smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so I had to purchase a fragrance bomb just to make the drive bearable. Customer service at pickup was great, but our originally scheduled drop-off location in National City was extremely unprofessional. Despite already checking in, an employee told us to “get the f*** out” because they had no space. Huge shout-out to the gentleman at 1300 Wilson Ave, National City, CA 91950, who apologized for the other location’s inconvenience and went above and beyond to make things right. His excellent customer service turned a frustrating experience into a positive one!

FRANDY CThis was the only location with a trailer available - not a company store. Great location, but pretty seedy. You need to have minimum standards for Uhaul local operators. The 4 connector light cable that came with the trailer failed.
