Equipment broke multiple times, and I had to use my own money to fix it.
ADAM HYou could tell the location was clearly smoked in. I set it up so I could pick up without contact but the location kept the keys behind the counter. The truck mirrors couldn’t be adjusted because of how tight they were making it difficult to be used and the truck horn didn’t work I was almost backed into because I couldn’t alert the other driver that wasn’t paying attention. Upon returning the truck I couldn’t do the online return because the picture process doesn’t work because of how the dash is set up. The site charged me a second day and I had to call and get it corrected and am waiting for my refund.

DANNY MKevin, at U-Haul Crittenden, KY, set me up with a great 5’x8’ trailer for a one way 3-day trip to Idaho. The trailer worked out great and check-in in Idaho was a breeze. Thanks U-Haul!

DENNIS FHad a run around where to drop off the UHAul my contract said dry Ridge but there was nobody there so I called and they said they was somewhere else. Then I could not get anyone to help all they would do was tell me to watch a video.

William WThe check-in experience was a nightmare. It didn't help that I had hired a crew and they were waiting on me and my sister & brother-in-law were waiting for me to pick up appliances at their home because they had an engagement. I could not get the Location detection to pick up my presence at the correct location. I had to be transferred twice to get someone who could get me past that glitch. I lost an hour in addition to the usual check-in. It took two people to get the lock to open to get the key because the lever on the lock was hard to move. The windows on the truck were FILTHY and the A/C would barely cool the cab. I did appreciate the third rep who patiently guided me through the check-in process because at that point I was beside myself.

Vicki LI was charged for something I was asked about and said I didn’t want. I then was charged $50 more than I was told final total would be upon speaking with someone from U-Haul. I’ll consider someone other than U-Haul moving forward.

I saved over $30 even with the added mileage to return. The mobile pickup was easy to do and I just texted before I returned the equipment to know where to drop off. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks

Jeffrey HThere is very little that can be done to improve on the stellar service we received. The whole transaction from beginning to end was wonderful. The gentleman who handled the rental was very pleasant and went the extra mile to help us. The equipment was in clean condition; it was mechanically sound and the rates were very fair. The next time we need a rental truck, we will definitely us the U-Haul in Crittenden, KY.
bob dThey were closed when I got there so I called he number on the contract. I was texted a link for self drop off. The link worked but the app wouldn't let me choose my location and even with full location sharing set the app couldn't find me. I had to manually check in but was concerned they would charge because the auto check-in wasn't completed. I was not charged. The location is small and the only reason I would not recommend dropping there is I had a 26 ft truck and there was one spot left in the lot with a truck from and back a fence to the side and the drive and a parking lot opposite the fence. Was very tight and with no camera in the truck was a frustrating but possible task.
