There were three trailers on the site that were 6 x 12. The one we were given to rent was in the worst shape of the three. We had to travel over 1400 miles with this trailer. We noticed shortly after renting it the tail lights did not work properly. The left turn signal worked and the lights worked however the brake light on the right side and a turn signal on the right side did not work. It was very disappointingDeborah W.

Amber who got my order lined up over the phone Needs to be complimented on her superb job of organizing my rental order. It was like clock work and so smooth. Don't promote her. I want her help next time. About the equipment though. The trailer tires were low on air. Luckily the place I was going had air. The rental place was great with having the equipment ready and helped me hook it up and all were friendly and polite. The equipment made the job of moving my vehicle a piece of cake and price was competitive with other delivery services. I am pleased with my experience.michael C.

Decision I made as far as renting a actual motorcycle trailer. Rented the big 5x9. My Indian fit perfectly. Trailer pulled light and smooth behind my truck. Will definitely use again in the future . Plenty of tie downs and chock for front wheel on bike. Great experience with this trailer.Vincent G.

The parking lot looks like a bone yard for dilapidated and abandoned vehicles. The store entrance is cluttered with stuff. Funny the fire marshal doesn't have a fit for that cluttered up escape route. The equipment was in good shape. I thought it was a fair price until they charged me twice. Two days after paying for the rental. Not impressed with the cluttered location and the billing.CHET A B.

They only thing that kept this from being excellent was I had to wait quite a while because the computer system had crashed. Not sure if that was on the national end or their end, but I sat waiting. The lady who checked me out was very nice and finally figured everything up manually to get me out the door. Big thanks to her!Chad G.

Key pickup location was very hard to find, had to walk the property and hope you would find it. Pictures of previous damage was very poor, had to take a number of additional photos to time stamp on the phone to document for future use (if needed). The mobile app was very poor, kept crashing, had to restart the check-out over and over. I never actually completed the damage documentation or fuel level, do to crashing. On one of the reloads, it simply said complete, even though I had only completed up to step two. I would not recommend to anyone that they use the mobile check in, it's not a process that is commercial ready for continuous use. The truck was sort of clean in that there wasn't trash lying around, but it was sticky to the touch and had food stains, and the seats were torn; the back of the truck had dirt and small debris. The brakes were mostly OK, but I am glad I never had to make a hard stop, very questionable if the machine could have complied.Tim L.

Renting a U-haul from Nebraska Appliance was a crap show from the beginning. It's important to note that we went to the location itself, we didn't set it up online. Being the smart one, my husband decided we better check to make sure we had the truck and time we called in for the day before we needed it. When we went into the store, the lady looked up our info and said that we were signed up for a 26' truck to pick up at 4:00 the next day. We had called in for a 15' truck to pick up at noon the next day. We were to call at 10:30 the next day to make sure the truck was available. We did, and were told the truck was there but the windshield wipers didn't work. The lady said to call back in half an hour and maybe they could find someone to fix it. We called back and she said she wasn't sure when anyone would be able to fix it. We went down to get the truck at noon anyway. This time a man was helping us. When we were quoted the price for the truck, it didn't include buying insurance or the actual truck itself. We ended up paying over $100 more than we thought we would. Then, while there, the guy wanted us to take a picture of my husband's license and e-mail it to him. This was confusing to me. We were right there with my husband and his license, why did we need to e-mail it to him? My husband didn't happen to have his phone with him, but I had mine so they were going to use my e-mail. Only the guy couldn't figure out how to switch it to my e-mail. I guess he finally gave up and ended up doing it himself which I was confused about why he couldn't have done it himself in the first place. When winding up our 30 minute rental, he neglected to let us know that the furniture dolly wouldn't be in the truck. We had to go back to ask him where to find one. He called up another worker who showed us where the dollies were. We ended up with an appliance dolly that no matter how tightly we cinched the belt around things, it ALWAYS had slack in it. This made moving much harder than it needed to be and much less safer than using a furniture mover. Also, the man informed us that I would receive a text message regarding if we were satisfied with how the truck looked. If they didn't hear from me, they would assume we were satisfied with it. I'm still waiting for that text message. It was just insane to me that this was such a difficult process. The woman and man asked us if we rented the truck online (like maybe this was the reason they had no idea what was going on) and I informed them we had come into the store for everything. And I agree with others who said that the parking lot is a disgrace. We counted at least 7 vehicles with a flat tire that were just sitting there. I also agree that they need to make the U-haul part of the store more obvious. My husband had to ask where it was and all they have is a tiny little sign that says U-Haul. And if you're wondering: Yes, it did rain and we couldn't use the wipers at all. This is a serious safety issue. I WOULD NOT EVER rent a U-Haul from them again even if there was no other place to go.gregg M.

The customer service was terrible, the lady was rude and difficult, had several phone calls before pickup to get info and the lady was not helpful ,referred me to customer service phone number, they were super helpful and polite,. When confirming reservation before pick up my reservation number was not valid, so I had phone in again, just frustrating. , customer service needs to be more welcoming, not a chore, just saying.Kim H.
It's not the location at all, it's the company! Worst experience, and after I call customer service I hope it doesn't stay that way. I used the online after hours pickup and drop off. My location was turned on and the website couldn't confirm my location. I waited over an hour on the phone to finally find out I had to have my backup driver come down and use his phone and ID to even get the keys. Do after being late by two hours, waiting outside in the sun, and making all my help either late or have to leave before we got done. Then we get to the truck, the gas isn't full, the ride was so bumpy that I couldn't even open my soda and any open beverage just spilled over, and the a/c only blew it luke warm air at best. And I was charged additional mileage but didn't go anywhere other than the specified upon locations.Derek P.

During the virus and a neighborhood black out things were definately not normal but they got me the truck through it all and when we turned it in they also (in Newton, Iowa) gave us excellant service and worked with us to get things done in spite of virus rules. i took a picture prior to starting off with truck because the Nebraska Appliance has a bad reputation. They have been known to be untrustworthy. We drove it 8 miles and put 3 gallons of gas in and the said that we owed them because the had it listed at above a half a tank when rented my picture showed just below a half a tank, so they wanted use to put more gas in.
