This was a very horrible experience from start to finish. Toom us 40 mins to get the uhaul which counted into my 2 hours. Then spent 45 minutes trying to get an extention. By the time I talked to someone I was well over my two hours. This turned a great day into a horrible one. I'm never using uhaul again.Rahkeim M.

The 1st uhaul was broken and about to die. I had to exchange it. Then I was charged a bunch of fraudulent fees. Luckily, I took pictures b it I had to spend almost 2 hrs on the phone getting it fixed. Then I had to get another and the guy kept implying that he may need to add fees. I chose this location since it was also a gas station - ease of return since I would need to refill the fuel. None of their pumps were working and they didn't bother to alert any customers - just let the customers get frustrated at the pump, and then have to go across the street to refill the fuel .... just to bring it back AGAIN to return the vehicle.lauren S.

The location is great the app was a mess. Then we needed to keep it and I called and the employee said ( and it was speaker phone so others heard what I heard that it was â€”- price to just bring it back by 1 pm the next day. Same day they called wanting to know where the uhaul was . So kind of a hot mess .SUSAN B.

The online process to pick up is garbage. It should be fast when picking up. Ask to do photos and license when making reservations. It shouldn't take 20 mins at the place going through steps and waiting for approval.christopher M.

The U-haul location at Beltline in Coppell, TX, I went to did not have the requested dollies I needed for my moving, and the attendant/owner went above and beyond and loaned me his personal dolly... that was exceptional service! My billing also did not come out correctly, again the agent went above and beyond and made sure it was corrected immediately! I would certainly recommend this location to my friends and family.Brenda M.

Inside the truck bed it has a sign stating $25 credit if truck is returned swept clean and all blankets are folded. I did not rent any blankets but I did sweep out the back of the truck to make sure I received this credit. I never did - even when the attendant told me I would. I was charged full amount...NO CREDIT. I even took picture of the back of truck and the sign stating a credit for $25.GREGORY C.

No complaints. Great service! The pre ordering online made everything go smooth and fast. Honestly I canxt believe how easy it all was. I love the texts and emails. Knowing I had all the contact info in my phone made less oaperwork. Live all the stickers on the truck! Was nice to be able to see truck height and width on truck in side view mirror!Rita H.

Did not have the equipment we had selected to rent, after our location had already been changed by uhaul because the original location didn't have the equipment either. Waited 20+ minutes for the store employee to be able to help us, while he helped other customers in between (as it was a gas station).LONDON P.
The checkin process was useless because I had to complete again when i picked up the vehicle. The representative was abrupt and rude. She handed me the keys and said bye so i walked outside to the uhaul in the lot only to find out that my rental was not on the property but a block away. She eventually got someone to take me to it but a lot of confusion could have been avoided if she had communicated what was happening. It was a terrible experience.Iris A.

Despite the mask mandate in TX, employees have not been consistently wearing masks. One employee only put on his mask when I entered the store, and the other did not have a mask on hand at all. U-Haul needs to be more explicit with its description of their Truck Share 24/7; I chose this option to minimize contact with others. However, I had to enter the store to obtain the key (rather than retrieving it from a box). I documented that the van was dirty upon receipt but was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I had also requested a dolly, but this was not placed in my van. (They were prompt with removing this from my reservation to avoid charges, though.)Lan L.

It was fraud. My trip was of total 14 miles, but that guys charged me for 24 miles. When i dropped the truck i asked him to come outside and check the mileage and gas. But he did not come out and said its ok, i will send you billing email. Next morning i received email with charge of extra 10 miles. Such a fraud. Have raised complaint # 2627511 to uhaul, lets see if that helps which i highly doubt as per the conversation with customer care as they go with truck history miles In and Out. I am 200% sure i covered only 14 miles. Seems that shop guy is using it for his personal use and charging those extra miles to customers. I had booked with uhaul many times but this was my worst experience. Thinking not to book uhaul in future.Sumit S.

Could not find my reservation. Had to wait over 1 hour. Then notified me saying my time was up to rerun the van even though they were an hour late with my reservation. Will not recommend or use again.Kevin W.
I arrived at the location at approximately 2:15pm, after reserving the truck via telephone. I was assured that the truck would be available by the representative that reserved the truck. Upon my arrival at the pickup location I was told that I would have to wait until 3:00 when the truck was returned. I informed the location that that the truck was reserved and I was told it was available. He insisted that I had to wait. I noticed that the truck was parked and not occupied. At approximately 2:30 I went into the location and asked why I would have to wait until 3:00pm if the truck was available. The representative stated that the truck was reserved for up until 3:00. Which made absolutely no sense at all. If the vehicle was returned and I filled the procedure to reserve I should be able to rent the truck. I was to that I had to wait until 3:00pm. I went back into the location at approximately 2:45pm and told them that I'm calling customer service to report them. I requested the store # ave they refused to give to me. As I spoke work someone from customer service the representative interrupted me and said he could rent the truck now. All of sudden when I'm on the phone with customer service, the truck becomes available. I was forced to sit and wait for an hour to rent a vehicle that was reserved and on-site at the location! The representatives at the Coppell location were unprofessional and provided poor customer service. Due to their negligence and lack of competence this caused me to be late for a very important business meeting which cost me money and overall tainted my first impression. Time is something wet can't get back. I did my due diligence to ensure this would be a smooth process. I've never had any issues like this with any other U-Haul location. Place more vans and trucks at this facility to include dedicated parking for customers vehicles who must leave them during durations of one day rentals. Consider making boxes and tape available to customer. At this particular property there is a smog inspection station that can be converted to accommodate extra space if the operator is willing to sell. One cashier at the gas station is the only available resource for renting the vehicles. Although he handled my rental quickly he had many other distractions with fuel and store customers as well.
