David BCargo area of moving vehicle consisted of animal hair, urine, and dirt, tree leaves, pieces of small rubber. Had a foul stench…….. spent an hour of my time cleaning the vehicle before using it to move my own furniture.
SAM BThe representative was hard to understand. He was very pushy. He wouldn't allow us to complete the pre-check list. When I opened the back to make sure it was clean, which it was not, he rushed over and closed the back of the truck. I also don't understand how someone is supposed to get a 26 foot box truck loaded, drove 7 hrs and then unloaded in only 3 days. For the $1,000 i was charged to rent the truck to begin with, I should have, at least, been able to have it a week before someone called me to ask if I was ready to return it. That is outrageous. UHaul should really re-think their policy on the bigger trucks like that.

john CLocation attendant has no idea how to complete transaction, after receiving keys to first truck that would not start due to 100% dead battery the attendant had no idea how to adjust to the other truck of same same and just kept saying it’s going to cost your more money over and over, taking the matter in my own hands and calling Uhaul and being transferred thru to 5 different people we finally were able to change plate #er to truck that was functioning. -After all of this and wasting much of my time off and availability to complete pick up of appliance we were unable to acquire that evening and had to drag it out till following day and due to work as we stay very busy the truck was returned late and we were charged way more than expected. -Called Uhaul customer service and same situation going thru 4 different people and finally shoved off that AFM would call, well still waiting for this call. -I as well have called AFM and left vm only to still not received any communication. -A refund is in-order for Uhaul to do the right thing and take care of this issue. Dennis BLong wait to rent a truck bc there is no dedicated staff. The guy had to constantly stop to wait on customers buying in store items.

Sandy GEverything went well until I return the vehicle and the store owner tried to charge for excess fuel. Good thing I took my own pictures to show the store owner before and after. When I showed the store owner the pictures, he quickly fixed the price. Other than that little "hiccup", everything was fine.
joshua CThe pick up process for Truck Share was awful. Had I known ahead of time I'd need two forms of identification it would have helped. I feel most of that could have been done at reservation time. In addition it took between five and 10 minutes for a person to show up inside the location to give me the keys.
Shawn MVery confusing, sketchy, not clear on where to pickup, the guy didn’t tell me about gas, said I could drop it off at a different location but then had to drive it back to smithville to avoid being charged.

Brion IGot charged an extra day. I returned on the day I was supposed to (Sunday) but I returned it around noon when it was scheduled to be returned at 7 am. I am sure nobody else was awaiting that truck. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

Robert OI turned in the truck at 2:20 pm. The clerk didn’t mark it as returned til after 5:00 pm. I was charged an extra day. The clerk did not seem to have any idea of the process and did not provide a receipt. I used photos as evidence.
BethAnn JThe guys seem to know what there going, but they just tried to say there was something wrong with my TDL and UHAUL.. I had to call a 800 # to find out some issues, then Uhaul couldn't find anything wrong any issues. Waited on the phone for 35min to get things figure out.

Leslie NThis wasn’t my scheduled pick up location, I had to drive an hour outside of Austin to pick up the uhaul and then wait 40 minutes for the uhaul rep to show up to the gas station to give me the keys which apparently were there the entire time. I also ordered furniture blankets and dollys and none of them were provided. I was then told I couldn’t be refunded for this and then nearly had to pay for the missing items not being returned at my drop off. Absolutely worst experience and worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Linda NUpon picking up the truck, The windshield was taped on but I had to apply stronger tape to keep what portion or the frame/ seal of the windshield was committed off on the driver side from blowing off on the highway. The attendant did not check my final milage but rather used the initial estimate I gave him. He never inspected the return condition of the truck nor acknowledged the windshield damage.

Carolyn CThe U-Haul was not at the location that I set for pickup, I received no call the day before to confirm the pickup location. The U-Haul was at a location over an hour drive away and I had no vehicle to get there, and no heads up to make plans.
Jared LThe truck was clean inside and out. Plenty of space on the lot for parking. They were fine with me leaving my vehicle there for a few hours while I used the truck. They share the parking lot with an excellent Mexican restaurant and have a well stocked convenance store so it’s a great place to visit. I will definitely use them again when I need a rental truck.
