The cabin smelled like smoke and body odour. As a non-smoker, this was nauseating. The van was given to me at half a tank and I was expected to return at half a tank. This is a joke as there is no indication of how much gas to put in the vehicle to return the tank to half full after use. Give me a vehicle that is full and I will return it full. As it was I estimate $40 and returned it with more gas than when I took the vehicle. The check out was slow and it was wrong initially as I was charged for 2 DAYS rental instead of 4 hours. The woman behind the counter was very nice though, she was helpful and pleasant to deal with. I do appreciate her helpful nature and attention to making things right for me. The truck was a mess and a piece of crap from the 1970's by the looks of it.William B.
Don't tell people it's $0.69/ km and then charge $1.43/ mile. It's false advertising. The location changed the amount on the contract they sent after driving away in the rental truck. That doesn't give someone the chance to decide if they are willing to pay $1.43/ mile. By that time, it's too late and you are trapped paying it.Jenny B.

Seeing as my deposit still hasnt gone back on my card, tho i got an email saying it was coming. Will be heading into location this evening, if it isnt there within 24 hr mark. Not a happy experience at all. And i normally am easy to please.Andrew G.

Manager and customer service rep was very nice and accommodating. I had a wonderful experience on the uhaul end during a very hectic day. The speed and knowledge that was used during my issue gave a quick and appropriate resolutionKelsey H.
The cab and the big area of the truck were filthy. It was clearly not cleaned between renters. Thankfully I had moving blankets with me or all of my items would've been dirtyBrittani H.

There is no key dropbox at this location, which does not support mobile drop-off (after hours). This is something I was not made aware of. Very disappointed by u-Haul for not informing me of this and now I will have to return the key tomorrow.Victoria R.

I git to this location by accident, my original pick up was Sam and Mario's, they were closed. I texted your help line and was left hanging after 30 minutes. Then three different telephone reps hung up on me. The last one said someone would call me back, I'm still waiting. I then spotted a notice on my phone to go to the other location. At least the person there had the smarts to get me on the road. Two hours behind schedule but at least moving.Robert K.
Clean your vehicles properly. The cab smelled like cat urine and there was garbage all over the floor. I reserved a trolley and there was none available at the location I had to get the vehicle from.Steven W.
Firstly, the customer service representative at New Wave Convenience was unprofessional. She did not know how to finish registering me. It took her an hour just to finish setting up the uhaul. Once getting into the uhaul, it was filthy, smelt really bad and there was little to no gas. The next morning (I had only got the uhaul at 5pm the night before) I had returned it at 12pm and waited another hour before this cashier was able to sign me out. I was not given a cheaper rate than the 24hrs I had booked it for and I did not receive my money that I was owed back on my card. They insisted on cash. They also charged me double for the safe move. I am utterly disappointed with my first experience. I highly do not recommend this place.Alexis M.

I was told that I would be charged .90 cents per km. However after looking at my reciept I was charged 1.43 per km. Could you please credit me the difference. Very disapointed and feel I got scammedDONNA M.

The truck had a broken wiper blade, had garbage still in the cab from a previous user and no snow brush. Obviously not cleaned or sanitized after the last renter.PAULD T.

I had to call corporate over this location as they tried to short change me almost $50 for the rental. This left a very bad impression on me and I won't return to that location for anything.JAMESRICHARD S.
The service was great, the fee was excellent for what we needed a truck for! The only thing is the trucks interior was dirty. The dash and consoles and side compartments had dust and debris on them. The steering wheel had not been wiped down. During this time (covid), that was unexpected.Amanda R.
