I had to have my son pick up the Uhaul as I work during operational hours. I told him to simply ASK how much an extra day would cost, and the guy just charged me for the extra day when we ended up not needing it. That cost me $60 extra. Then I set up the drop off location in Kalamazoo with a reserved storage unit with the first month free. My son was sent to a different location in Kalamazoo, then went to the right place, and was charged another $120 for the unit because they said my reservation wasn't in their system, even though I had proof of it online. So we had to rent the storage unit, then go back to the other Uhaul location to drop the truck off. All of which cost me much more in gas. I am not pleased with the amount of money I was made to pay because of the errors at this Fremont location!!

I can't think of anything. This location went above and beyond to help with multiple issues I was having, none of which had anything to do with Uhaul or their rental. Human in a day of text messages and non-human business interaction. Very nice for a change!!

Ratchet strap ends were a little frayed but doable. Ratchet strap ratchets were sticky & rusted but doable. Right fender mounting bolts were loose which allowed the fender to flop but doable. One item was unacceptable. I had went into the pick-up location 5 weeks prior to actual p/u date to make a reservation. All went well & I placed the reservation on my credit card. Upon arrival on the morning of p/u, I was informed that there were NO MORE Dollies to be rented. All they had were rented out already. The rep called another location for availability. They had one left & put it on hold for me to drive to a different town to get it. Upon arrival, the Dolly was there but the rep had to make out a complete new reservation, and payment and pick-up process. I don't know where the breakdown was was but I was unconvinced for well over an hour & messed up my itinerary.

i actually had a very good experience with the young lady who worked with me. I had a last minute, like day before, which was a Friday afternoon when I was trying to get a U-Haul. I believe her name was Sara. she returned calls, answered questions and made sure I had a truck to use on Saturday morning. I thank you, and Sarah, for the attentiveness to my urgent need for that truck!!

Had to argue that the truck being hauled would fit on the trailer. Then argued more that my truck could haul the trailer. I have been hauling this truck and trailer with my 2014 Silverado for several trips now. Plus he did not hook up the trailer right. So it popped up off the ball because he didn't tighten the coupler.

We rented a trailer. When we returned trailer there was no way to lock it up. Although unlikely, there is that slim possibility that someone could have walked off with the trailer we returned. I think it would be a good idea to have some sort of locking system on trailers when they are returned for customer protection.

+Train the location how to use the new rental system .Close to two hours to rent a trailer while other clients waiting for service got upset. Missed out on my moving help i had set up from the delay.

Called and talked to agent. He was friendly and helpful. Even offered to reimburse me for good wipers. I told him I filled tank to level it was when I picked up truck and had taken a picture of gas gauge with my phone. He didn't question me. Truck drove fine and service department was good when I requested new tires. The service tire monitoring system engaged when I started truck so I knew something was wrong. Just a shaky start from the dealer. Thank you.

The person who set us up with the vehicle was confused, and rushed. He didn't seem to understand that I would be there to get the truck. The vehicle was fine, other than a cardboard box left in the back. I would recommend the location because I usually have a good experience with this place and it's the only one in this town.

I did the online pre check in for a "faster" pick up, well that took over 30 mins just for the kid at the counter to figure out how to do a check in, he never called for help or asked anyone to help him, he just kept saying to his self I don't understand why I can't figure this out, I told him so much for a faster check in by doing it all online, he just said yeah, I can't figure this out, I told him to call someone he said he didnt have anyone to call that early in the am. The facility was very dirty and I had to walk through mud puddles, soaking my shoes to get to the truck,. It was pulling hard to the left when I braked, and when I would push the brakes at a stop sign they made a horrible noise. I was far from impressed for the price i paid...especially at .99cents per mile, the truck felt like I was in a time warp. Very unhappy customer...

My daughter and I were told we would receive the first 40 miles free by both the facility where I made the rental and from customer service when I called them (40 miles @ $.99 = $39.60). The vehicle was returned on September 15th not the 17th. I was overcharged by 2 days of rental and 4.2 more miles than I used. Those two days come to $79.90, the 4.2 miles (4.2 miles @ $.99) $4.16 and for the 40 free miles (40.0 miles @ .99) $39.60. This comes to a total of $123.66. If the rental tax is figured by day, then the refund should increase by $6.89 for a total of $130.55. I put down $724.49 when the truck was picked up. Because I paid more than was necessary, I received a refund on the rental of $115.51. I called customer service, again was told the first 40 miles are free, and explained what happened. By the way, your customer service people I spoke with are very knowledgeable and great to work with. Then later on the same day I received another refund of $85.00 (I don't know how that figure came about. No one contacted me. The extra refund just showed up in my account after I called customer service). According to my figures above, I should receive another $38.66 plus $6.89 or so depending upon how the rental tax is figured. You want to improve the experience for the next customer? You could still improve the experience with this customer. I am looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. I am including this same message in my email to you.

You honestly, cannot beat this price! Only took us approximately 2-3 trips back and forth to our new home to get it done, when it would have taken us about 10-15 with only a few trailers and pick up trucks. I was expecting to pay 60+ dollars a day for a rental Truck...and it was ONLY $40...great price, great equipment, PLENTY of storage! Thank you for keeping the prices reasonable and affordable. :)
