No one was there when we came to pick up the rental. We were given a phone number to call and the man told us to pick one of two trailers on his lot. We were upgraded from a 5'X8' to a 6'X12' and the tongue was very heavy with no tongue jack. It was all my wife and I could do to get the trailer coupler on my hitch. We should never have been promised a certain size trailer and then told it was not available and someone should have been there at the pickup to help assist us.Bruce K.

I rented a dolly with the truck and did not receive it. Called customer service and they told me it would be taken off bill. I was still charged for it. I disputed charges and it still wasnt taken off. I was very irritated I didnt get dolly because i rented/reserved it for a reason and then I get charged for it on top of it?!?Danielle M.

I arranged, through U-Haul, to have the cube packed by a mover, that was recommended, hired, and paid through the U-Haul website. He went to the Elkhorn location, instead of Lake Geneva; therefore there was no box reserved for me. Somehow you allowed them to pick up a box with no reservation. Then they returned the box packed full of my furniture to Elkhorn, where there was no reservation. Therefore YOU CANCELLED MY RESERVATION!! Leaving no record that my belongings were in your possession. Worse yet, cancelling the reservation also cancelled the insurance I purchased, so I would not have been able to file a claim. When I became aware of this (via the cancellation email), I called in and the person on the phone could not have been less interested in helping me. Even when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I got nowhere. Only when I involved the local Milwaukee TV station, did I get a response. After threatening to file charges of theft and Fox 6 stating they would air the complaint, did someone call and offer to help. My credit card was charged and (maybe) refunded, then new charges were put on my wife's card, but they were more than agreed to. Then they were refunded and new charges appeared. I now have a lot of work to do to audit multiple charges and refunds on multiple cards. Once the box was located, it was shipped down here and the Lewisville, TX location did deliver as promised and with good service. However, overall it was nearly a week late, and worried us terribly. This was my mother's dining room set. She has passed away, and my father wanted us to have it. We have other things to remember her by, but this was a big one and it was nearly lost. Advertise this Facility so the Neighborhood can benefit from superb Customer Service and Friendly, knowledgeable Staff. Being a Senior Citizen I was reminder how Good Helpful Service really is. The on-line reservation system needs improvement. It doesn't allow you to go back and make changes after starting a reservation. For that reason, I was incorrectly assigned two rentals. There was no one present at the pickup site, just the truck with the keys in it. I spoke with the owner on the phone. He charged me much more than the on-line price. I had to call and request a refund after I returned the truck. The person on the help line was very helpful.Timmy H.

You computer system the dealer used is totally screwed up. After filling out all the information the system locked up and he had to complete the transaction via his help desk. When I saw the contract it charged me for a truck instead of a 5x8 trailer. I contacted UHaul to fix that but when the final receipt arrived it was for $178 instead of $153 (there was a $25 discount for dropping the trailer in Vineland, NJ instead of Millville, NJ). Even after the help agent said he would apply the discount to correct the bill I was still charged the $178. You guys absolutely need to fix your computer system issues.Bill P.

It was disappointing that we could not get the uhaul size we reserved ahead of time. If that was the case, could we have not been notified earlier so we could make other arrangements with another uhaul provider? Also, when I went to pick up the trailer, I were told it was "over there" and had to back it up and hook it up on my own. Didn't know if the lights even worked until I got home and a family member could check.Tom R.

Make sure the truck you promise someone is where it is supposed to be. Keep better tabs on where your trucks are and dont promise someone a truck that wont be there. My location was changed twice and then I wound up with a smaller truck because of all the mess.CHRISTINA K.

Nobody was there for drop off, never signed anything. I had to drop off the keys with some neighbor lady on a golf cart because the uhaul person was "cutting the grass" This location is at someone's house/farm. As we were waiting in the driveway for someone to show up, the owner's dog jumped on the passenger door of my jeep and scratched the passenger side door. Deep scratches, past the clearcoat, going to require some sort of repair. Honestly, not exaggerating, the experience with this truck was terrible, both pick up and drop off. I rented another truck for this same move, and the experience was great. picked up at midwest customs in howards grove, dropped off at woller true value in Elkhorn. Have some signage on the property to help direct customers locate the office. Not sure why the proprietor was not expecting our drop off. I had to explain to the gentleman what I was doing, and show him my paperwork. This really made me feel unsure about leaving a trailer there with your late fees. Very disappointed. The representative was unwelcoming and rude. Wanted to charge us a "sweep out" charge for the less than dustpan full of debris in the uhaul. We swept it out ourselves. The person did not even re-check the uhaul afterwards. Seemed to be running a bit of a scam using U-haul's good name and reputation. Would not recommend this locationa. In fact, since we also live in this town, we will be telling many about our unhappy experience - - not with U-haul but with this location.Carl M.

I dropped the truck off on Sunday, July 4th and they sent in a charge for extra day saying I did not drop until July 6th. I had called them on Monday the 5th and was told they would call me if any problems. When I called back, they denied knowledge of that call and stated veh not turned in until the 6th. He paid me by a personal check when I paid cash for my deposit and he aske me to hold it for a day, then when I went to cash it it would not clear. I had to use my gas running around trying to get my cash back. Aweful experience!DIANA G.

This location opened 20-mins late on the day of pick up. I had called the night before to inform the proprietor that I would arrive when the doors opened. The office was a wreck. Got a stain my pants from something oily left on the dolly. The computer didn't work when I dropped off the equipment. I won't rent from this location again.
