My truck did not have a USB port or anything else for me to plug in my phone. Considering I was doing an after hours pickup & dropoff necessitating the use of my phone, and had a 2.5 hour drive each way, that's a lot to ask. I think I was at 3% when I was dropping off and that's only because I knew enough of the drive that I could turn off the GPS for certain stretches. I also didn't like the fact that I was given only half a tank and had to return it with half a tank. I had a long way to go into the wilderness without many gas stations there, so had to fill it before leaving and then try to fill it back to half without knowing how big the tank is. Having it returned full would be so much easier and smoother.

The only issue was that they expect the key to be returned to the lock box, but the return instructions don't include that number. After working all day I had only a vague idea of the code, so I handed it in at the office instead.

They charge a $25 fee for bringing the truck back after they close. This seems really in contrast to UHaul's 24/7 policy for being able to rent vehicles. It is not may fault they were not open when I was returning the truck, so should not have the $25 fee. Also, I was charged $29.95 for the truck instead of the $19.95 advertised rate.

The woman at the front desk was as nasty and rude as they come. When I called the 800 number to book my uhaul the woman I spoke to on the phone told me I could pick up the truck after 930- I showed up at 10:06am and when I walked in the door I explained that I was there to pick up the truck I rented- she said your an hour and a half late… no hi, no nothing.. she didn't even know my name at that point.. then I got a lecture about if I rent a uhaul again to make sure I'm on time because I'll lose my truck, I didn't know it was an appt, That wasn't explained to me. She then kept repeating herself about me being 45 minutes late.. I not be returning! I would not recommend. If your going to use a local uhaul use the Brentwood, NH location- the woman that runs it is amazing! Super helpful too! & friendly.

Never again will I use the mobile app to sign out a U-Haul rental. I should have learned my lesson last time . It took me a half hour on both ends to get through the process. Awful.

I don't know what happened to the days when the people you were renting from walked all around the truck with you, went over all the features, all the dents & dings? No one went over the mileage limit. Just told me to return it with the same amount of gas. Good luck! Locations for pick-up/drop off are getting limited so you have to drive 20-30 mins out of the way to pick-up/drop off which adds to your mileage. Other than that, no issues with the truck.

The van was clean and in great shape, everything worked as expected. My 'no' answer is because it had been smoked in and had a heavy stench of cigarettes. Otherwise it was a great experience.

This was the worst U-Haul rental experience I've ever had. The pickup using the app went fine but the return process was a nightmare. The app refused to upload a picture of the odometer and fuel gauge which prevented me from being able to turn in the truck on time. I had to call customer service which took an hour to have a call returned. This isn't the locations fault. The quality of the app needs to be improved. Very frustrating.

The customer service rep, Sue, was extremely rude because I was a half hour early to pick up the van. It was an honest mistake because a friend reserved the van for 1:30, but told me to pick it up for 1 pm. She was struggling with the computer system and clearly has been in her job way too long. I would never return to this location. She should never treat a customer the way she did on Saturday, 7/10. I bit my tongue throughout the process because I feared if I confronted her attitude she would not let me rent the van or add a mysterious charge to my rental. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and she should be spoken to by corporate. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this woman's abrasive personality. Will never return. May post another review on Google as well.

Someone should be available on sundays for phone customer service at the location. I was not able to use the electronic sign in and had real issues. Then I was charged because when I dropped it off no one was there and I still couldn't use the site.

I would recommend putting up some signage to make it look like an actual u-haul site. Sweeping the lot and painting lines for parking spots would also help it look professional and attended to.

I had scheduled my pickup for 8:30 AM. At 8 AM, the people I was buying furniture from called me to say we would have to push back the time I was picking up stuff. So, I didn't rush to pick up the truck and got there maybe 45 minutes later and couldn't pick up the truck contact-less because there was no "pickup my truck" button on the reservation. Luckily, the UHAUL office was open and they fixed it, which was evidently due to my not picking my truck up on time. I've been a customer for 25 years and never have I heard that you have to arrive right on the dot or your truck reservation is null and void. The woman at the counter was a bit hostile about it.

Employees were not well trained and caused us a great deal of stress and head ache. And while trying to get our issues resolved I was on the phone for over two hours and kept getting transfered and put on hold. Moving is already stressful enough and you guys made it a lot worse.

Just charge the price that it cost instead of pretending you can rent a vehicle for $19.95. You know you can't because you add mileage and other fees with it. It's actually $50+.
