Make sure tires are round. I also was charged $29.96 at the drop off point with no explanation for the charge? Any charges should be explained to the customer upfront!

James STruck was clean however the entire ride was very very uncomfortable and bumpy. Exhaust was coming thru to our seating area and smell was overwhelming. I also had an animal with us. I understand the roads were part of the problem but this was not a gentle ride as advertised on the U-Haul truck!
paula c15 foot truck was very old...over 170000 miles. Truck leaked during a heavy rain ruining 4 boxes in the back.

HECTOR LWhen I went to drop off just the car transport on Friday (my due date was Saturday), I was told by the associate at the desk, that I COULD NOT, because the reservation of the truck and CT were on one ticket. When I told him I had been told TWICE, by the reservation associate and by the pickup location associate, that I would be able to drop the CT separate, he told me there was nothing he could do. To say I left there highly upset, would be an understatement. I was angry and upset and on top of that tired from the seven hour drive. I was near tears and my husband, who was waiting with the truck and trailer in the parking lot was livid! He was ready to drop the trailer in the middle of the parking lot and drive off. I called back to the amazing guys at Countryside Outdoor Equipment and was told that they would make a call. A few minutes later, David called me back and said to go back to the office and tell them I was dropping the CT , but would not be “checking it in “ until tomorrow when I returned the truck. We did this and went on our way to finish our unloading. The next day as we were on our way to return the truck I received a message to my U-Haul account mailbox asking me if I knew that I was able to return my trailer before my truck to make unloading easier!!!! Are you kidding me!?!
Leslie CThe pick up location took pictures of the damage, but failed to input that photos into the computer system. The receiving location called and try to charge me for damage, but I had pictures and time stamps to prove the damage was already present before I took possession of the trailer.

PHILLIP CEverything was great! I made record time AND had new tires on my truck when I got back. Fantastic experience. BUT (ALWAYS A BUT) But—there's nothing like needing a rental and having once rented, having to listen to a loud engine & that whistle of air that comes through the windows (that don't quite seal when the van is at speed)—until you have to do it all in one with a radio that doesn't work. Fix the radio. (😂)
Chris HI was instructed to drop off the trailer at this location. No one was there but there was a drop point outside the locked gate. On the paperwork, it said to call a number to let them know I dropped the trailer. No one answered the call. I dropped the trailer, took pictures of the drop, and left. The paperwork also said something about a $20 after hours fee. I was not told this one the front. I will pay this fee as it was not part of my original fees explanation.

Elaine KOriginally my reservation was at a different location. It wouldn’t let me check in so I had to wait 20 minutes on the phone with customer service only to be moved to the location 5 miles away. The app kept crashing on both check in and out. There was gum in the cabin, someone’s knife, and the oil change light was on. Overall this was not the experience I expected from U-Haul. In addition to being inconvenienced for a total of an hour with having to swap locations and struggle with the app, I was charged $5 in fuel surcharge for driving a total of 16 miles. Was kinda crappy to be honest and I’ve made this same kind of trip in the same vehicle with also not gassing up (because putting half a gallon of gas in the van is useless) to not be charged. It’s ridiculous and I’m disappointed with U-Haul.
Barbara PThis location did not log my return upon dropping off my trailer. However, they did correct the issue, no questions asked.
NORMAN EInitially I was directed to a different location in Mineral Bluff, GA for drop off. This location was a fenced off lot with a locked gate. No one was present. I called the number on the sign and got voicemail. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. I called UHaul and was redirected 20 miles out of my way to Nicholson Tire, which was a good location.

Cheryl Bthe only reason I said NO on the equipment clean and well maintained is because there is a leak maybe around the wheel well and my great uncle desk that my parents gave me the top of it got very soaked with water...it was wrapped in blankets and was not exposed - it was laid on its top to be stable during transport...
John wTrailer was dirty on the inside, I returned it cleaned.
