Wouldn't recommend the self check. I had spotted cell phone service. So that it took almost 25 minutes to download my photos along verifying who I was? The people at the U-Haul place said they couldn't help self check. Thought that was a little odd for a service company that you are. They informed me that U-Haul was told in the past that they had spotted service. The truck was very nice and drove great.

It is very clean and inviting and the trucks and trailers are very accessible in a very clean gravel lot and the people were great to work with and due to the COVID-19 issues, they asked me not to come into the office, but I could see in there and it looked nice and they work face masks when working with me. Greatly appreciated.

Ask for photos of drivers license at reservation when already entering the info. Maybe that would speed up the approval process while standing at the truck. I entered two phone numbers at reservation then had to enter a third number at truck to get verified. Overall good service and experience.

Peggy Murray was fantastic to work with. She was fine letting us in early when she got there and handled our situation well. Our truck 24/7 was screwed up from a columbus location and she understood and got us through the situation very quickly and gave us a good rundown of how to use the truck and what to make sure of when dropping it off. She was very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Nineveh Self Storage is open on Sunday which is great when you need to pickup on Sunday. Unfortunately for them, Uhaul website updates on Sundays because there are very few locations open. I waited 90 minutes for the paperwork to be able to be printed off. This is no fault of the owners of NSS, this is very much a Uhaul issue. Uhaul needs to do more to support it's locations, the person they called for help was very rude and said nothing was wrong with the website, he had been woken up by the phone call (9:30 am) and didn't even check the website.

It would be helpful if someone would answer or call back when calling an emergence phone number. -why list an emergency number if there is no assistance in an emergency situation?

There was no cell phone reception at the location so I could not complete the return through the app. The gentleman who was working was not very helpful and was upset because he said “We we supposed to get trucks this big”. After I left I called customer support and they were very helpful in completing the return.

I reserved my U-Haul truck on Tuesday knowing I have a very hectic schedule with a young baby. I made sure to pay for the rental and to confirm I had a truck ready for my move on Saturday at 9am. I received a call from the corporate U-Haul on Friday that the truck I reserved was not available at the location I reserved at, and wouldn't be available till two in the afternoon. The corporate U-Haul could not get me a truck anywhere close to where I reserved and paid for a truck at. Knowing that this would've happened I would have not reserved a truck with U-Haul . The corporate customer service team couldn't figure anything out for me and only excuse they could tell me was " other people had booked this truck a month and a half in advance ". Granted I do understand that trucks get booked out far in advance, but this would've been nice to know on Tuesday when I booked the truck. Thankfully I was able to book a truck in Nineveh (one hour and 20 minutes away from my moving location). I received great service from the Nineveh location and they were very apologetic and helpful to the corporate lack of service. I am very grateful for their kind gestures and would recommend the Nineveh location again. As for corporate U-Haul and their customer service team, there definitely needs to be some changes and good luck finding a truck when you need it

I was given a U-Haul with a hole in the roof and the owners knew there was a hole in the roof. It was the only U-Haul available in the area and I had no choice to take it. The owner also added on insurance when I said I did not want it, so I was over charged. He was very rude and inconsiderate. Because of the hole in the roof, it rained on my way to my drop off location ( four and a half hours away) and all my belongings got wet. I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

Uhaul fucked up everything from the beggining. The drop off location was the only good part of my experience. Pickup date and location was wrong, I want my 50 dollars for that alone. Everybody with few exceptions was rude as fuck. The truck frame was also bent and made for a terrible ride. I'll never use Uhaul again. I hope the company goes bankrupt
