I was originally confirmed to pick-up the trailer at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Calgary, 6315 36 St SE Calgary, AB T2C2C4 at Friday, March 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM. I received a phone call on March 11th to confirm that I was still picking up the trailer and they confirmed the equipment would be there. On March 12th at 5:00 pm I received a call from Hayden Belanger, Traffic Control Manager that the confirmed trailer was not available and the nearest available unit was in Irricana, AB; an hour north-east of Calgary. I needed the trailer so I confirmed that I would be picking it up in Irricana. When I arrived at the Irricana U-haul outlet, the person there told me that there was no trailer available, even though I saw 2 units in the yard. The agent said that both units were spoken for and that I had only made the reservation 2 hours ago. I explained that it was Hayden Belanger, Traffic Control Manager that made the reservation and that he should call Hayden to straighten this out. I was reluctantly rented the trailer. The agent showed me the unit that I could have and walked back into the building. I had to hitch up the trailer myself. Upon return of the trailer the next day, there was no assistance offered to un-hitch the trailer. I spent a total of 4 hours of my time and a half tank of gas as a result of having to go to Irricana to get and drop off the trailer that was booked and confirmed for pick-up in Calgary. This cost me more than the $50.00 refund offered by U-haul for not having the confirmed reservation available.Harry N.

I did the online check in to prevent delays. The clerk did not have any clue how to check out the vehicle. The whole process had to be repeated causing a 50 minute wait. The interior of the truck was in disgusting shape (very dirty with other customer belongings still inside). The truck was given to me with an empty tank causing even further delays to the 50 minute time of check out. Also costing more in fuel and no reimbursement. The clerk also messed up all the information about the truck so I was unable to complete the drop off properly online. I waited on hold with the Uhaul line for 25 minutes to get the truck returned. They were very good. Took a bit of time to process rental electronic filing as issues with system and store was busy would be my only complaint. Took an hour. Next time I'll book online and just pick up. It'll be quicker. Still, very happy customer.Landaira H.
