It the only one in a small town. No one was there when I went to pick up truck I stood outside because I walked there In -30 below plusWind chill. 1/2 hour making phone calls to U-Haul to remedy problem. When I received keys to start truck Battery was dead had to jump it to get it going U-Haul rep helped in getting it going and let me stay in building while truck warmed up thank you for that. My issue was I had hired hands at my house to help me load truck that I was paying 2 young men $50 an hour to help my wife and I load truck we are seniors. I understand the weather played a huge factor in my problems your reps on the phone and in shop where supportive and understanding. Thank you for letting me vent here as it was a long weekend and everything worked out in the end. I will recommend U-Haul again as the service to help me was very supportive. Regards

Put a tongue jack to make hookup easier

The attendant did not upload photos for the return. (I do not want to get blamed for any damage between the return time and the next rental pick up of the unit.) If I had known they would be using the same check-in app I could have done that myself. The attendant was not willing/able to park the truck and auto transport on the lot. I was given a reimbursement for the dozen packing blankets not received - much appreciated. The auto transport hauled very well behind the 15' truck. Advise to check tire straps at every stop - one had come loose.

North air is a taxi , purolator etc type of place and has a lot of distractions and most of the staff are usually out driving taxi particularly during school bus periods. They get the job done but customer service is not their strong point. Again the drop off was just OK

We had the best experience here. Truck was great, and the gentleman who owns the place was amazing and so friendly!! Would def recommend North Air Services to anyone in the area.

Was shitty service didn’t get the trailer till 2 days later and they did nothing but send more and more bills and when our trailer broke took a day to get back on the road due to the usless phone system would not recommend to anyone stay away from these garbage U-Haul vehicles would of given no stars if possible

It’s a taxi company, the owner is busy…was told to drop the key in the box and he would check me in when he had time.

I felt everything went very well with the experienced staff The whole process from going in to the establishment to reserving a unit for a certain date and then changing the pick-up date to getting the unit to dropping it off the unit was very seem less The staff made the whole process very hassle free. Thank you Would recommend Uhaul to anyone from this establishment interaction for using a UHaul

They told us the wrong pick up time and wouldn’t give us the truck when we were there at the correct pick up time, making us come back hours later to pick it up. The staff was also late to the “extremely strict return deadline” making us have to wait over ten minutes just to return the truck. We were not impressed with this rental service especially considering we booked for 24 hours and only ended up getting to use it for 17…

The 26' truck was parked in the way that first i had to back up and maneuver between parked cars while backing up. The cabin had spilled coffee at the coffee holders cup, dashboard and floor

The process of getting the keys and registering one’s license was complicated and confusing. It was good there was a number on the house door for help.

This location is a great example of small town friendly service and convenience. A human (nice and friendly) meets you, completes the necessary process, and hands you the keys. No mobile phones, spotty internet connection, take a picture of this and that while waiting outside in the freezing temperatures. Had a horrible recent experience in Winnipeg in one of those locations where you do a mobile pickup.

They didn’t charge me for over mileage there and I didn’t even know that I have to pay and when I got home it was charge already from account without even asking me or letting me know what was not good.

James and Cathy are a pleasure to deal with. I have rented several times from this location and always had a warm reception. Must be a little flexible on the pickup time. The worst thing to happen is North Air being stuck behind a rail crossing for a half hour, but if you call ahead they are happy to recommend a good time to meet. And, they will get you there every time. Thank you!!!

North Air was very Accommodating with the Pick Up and Drop off of the Trailer. U Haul on the other hand, an "Update" was more of an "Upsell" it wasn't my fault the 5'x7' trailer wasn't available. so $19.95 became $24.95, and the Ramp just got in the way of my use.

By making sure when a person book their truck months in advance that they get it on the day, and not giving it to someone else and making a person have to go out of their way to get something that they didnt sign up for.

James is always helpful. U-haul on line needs a better system, where the inventory is accurate so a customer can plan their move accordingly.

I was charged for mileage but should not have been as indicated on my reservation (which I confirmed was a notation for free kms on the file when I attended in person at the Winnipeg location). Fort Frances location did not read the file and they would not help me: gave me a head office number to handle. Action on the file is pending within 72 hrs. They sure charged my credit card fast enough but won’t credit it as quickly.

Proper attachment for trailer electrical was not provided and they told me i had to go buy one from the local hardware store. They were an hour late. Online support rectified it but in person they did not apologize.

I was given a U-Haul with wipers that was totally used, it was almost impossible to see with the sun and even by night. I had to drive more than 1000 miles in those terrific conditions. I reached Calgary finally but physically destroyed !!! I am extremely unhappy and do not understand how come you can do that to your customers. The gentleman from U-Haul with whom I did the drop off can certify all what I am saying.

Our whole booking experience was terrible. Two days before we were to get our 26ft truck - we received a call from UHaul stating that they did not have a truck for us. The closest one was in Ft Francis - a 5 hour drive. We drove there only to find they only had a 20 ft truck for us. Therefore we had to leave some of our possessions behind in Winnipeg. We had to cram as much as we could into a smaller truck damaging some of our belongings.

Uhaul website is always a disappointment, more than once I’ve had a reservation for a rental that wasn’t on the lot. I switched my reservation to fort frances even though I wanted it in Thunder Bay. Happy with James in fort frances. Uhaul customer service outside of the local offices needs work. Unless you book in person I wouldn’t trust on line.

If gas was higher level than when you take it a reimbursement for the gas for the extra gas would be nice with the cost so high, i had at least over $100 worth of gas over what I took it with but no reimbursement for the extra they made a nice $100 on top in gas from me

Check that the trailer is clean. There was green dust / debris left inside the trailer (we had to sweep it all out ourselves) and there were two dolly's left inside also. The rear door was stiff and could probably use some WD 40. Good customer service at the location. They helped me connect the trailer to my vehicle.

They are a taxi stand and did not have any boxes or other equipment that might be needed for a move. Just a place to pick up your trailer rental or a moving van. One of the staff hooked up my trailer for me. I thank him.

Had a very bad experience. I took truck for 6 hour rate was $ 39.00 but I he charged me $ 89.00 . I don't want to say more . But have to say too much .
