Front desk attendant was rude. I had problems with the cargo door lock and he treated me like I didn't know how locks work. No. I know how they work, I didn't know how this particular lock work and I wasted 30mins of my time. I had to wait for the attendant to show up to show me how to do it. On top of that, I paid for furniture pads and there wasn't any available (I will be calling about a refund). The van & the drop off process was great though.

I used the mobile / app option to check in. It was a total waste of time. Besides having to wait for my rental to be authorized I then ended up having to still go in to the office to get the key. The app itself doesn't keep track of where you're at if the phone goes to sleep, so when I went back to put in to verify the mileage, that option was gone. In addition to the bungled check in process, the truck itself still had a lock on it that I discovered when I arrived at the location I was going to pick up stuff, so I had to drive all the way back to the location to get the lock taken off.

The man that set me up with the vehicle insulted my son and acted as though he was going to physically assault me. He was paranoid and aggressive. It was an absolute disaster and a horrible experience. I requested a manager, but he was the only person on site.

First, this location was not the requested location I made for this order. It was further away from my apartment, and then I was charged for the additional miles of driving at the end of the trip. Second, I ordered two dollies for my move to rent, but there were none available at this location. This should have absolutely been communicated ahead of time, because then I could have made other arrangements. As it was, I was stuck with no dollies for my move. Lastly, I signed up for an 8:00 AM check in via my phone. However, I was told the day before that the phone check was not possible so I had to come at the 9:00 AM. The movement of location, time, and lack of equipment was very frustrating to me from Uhaul as a whole and made my move much more challenging. Literally the only thing correct was the truck/size. Most of the above are not specific to this location, but the system as a whole. Regardless, makes it tough to consider using Uhaull again in the future.

My experience was horrible, I was told the online price was wrong & upcharged to triple the price. I went to Public Storage, had the best experience. Never will I go to N Loop Storage or refer them.

Mark and Bill are great! Everything went so smoothly. It was the least stressful move i have ever had. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews for other locations but i had none of those problems. I was able to leave my vehicle on site and the final charge came out lower than expected! I am renting my storage unit at this locaton as well and so please with my decision to rent at this location!

Well, I should have read the fine print! I had no idea I would be charged for EVERY MILE. With only 30 miles, it still more than doubled the overall cost. So much for your advertisement of only $19.95 rental!

el servicio que me dieron en 1440 north loop fue exelente yo hise una reserva por internet en 05/29/19 para 05/30/18 a las 7:00 am en 4825 w 34 st recibiendo de uhaul la confirmacion cuando me presente me indico la empleada que no tenian el trailer que yo necesitaba y que tenia que ir a 14172 north west donde me dijeron que no tenian el trailer que balla a 5333 noth fwy y me dijeron que tampoco lo tenian finalmente reserve nuevamente y en 1440 north loop si lo tenian y me atendieron muy bien pero uhaul me hizo perden tiempo y gasolina desde las 7;00 am que reserve hasta las 11 am que pude conseguir espero que el servicio de uhaul sea mas efectivo y no hacer perder tiempo a los clientes

the truck was super dirty it had a bunch of trash on the back side we had to help the uhaul worker to cleam it because we needed to get on the road the front side look like a soda explored inside that it was so dirty and sticky he uhaul worker clean some of but it was still dirty i had to buy wipes to clean some off. trucks should be inspected before customer gets to the location.

Night and day difference. I called the UHaul on 34th St and reserved a van. I was told they had one on their property. Went to pick it up. They told me it was for sale and I could not have it. They told me there weren't any vans available in Houston. Then miraculously, they had one At one of their other locations... I called this location and they had two vans, went to pick it up, and he had everything ready for me. Easy to deal with, pleasant, no confusion.

North Loop Storage was great. Uhaul was not. I was jerked around with regards to the pickup location. I entered my preferred pickup location online but the preferred pickup location had changed when I logged in. I called Uhaul asking where I had to go to pick up the vehicle and was told the original preferred location I entered. When I logged in to see if that location was shown online, my preferred pickup location had been changed a third time to North Loop Storage. I called them the morning of pickup to confirm they had it (they did) and everything went smoothly from there.

After he did the paper work he just told me where the trailer was and what number it was, so I go out to the trailer (6x10) and no jack on the Tongue !! I tried to lift it but it was way too heavy!!! I had to ask for help. If I could have lifted it I would have been in big trouble because I would not of known to screw down the ball hitch!!!

This location was fine, but your entire system of reservations absolutely stinks. I rented a trailor on Friday to drive all the way to Houston from Lubbock, Tx. When I made the online reservation, it looked like everything went through. The next morning, I was supposed to pick up the trailor at 10 and was told when I got there that there were no trailors in the entire town and I was sent all the way to another town 30 miles away to pick up the trailor. This took an hour and half out of my time to drive there, get everythin paid and drive back. Therefore, it backed up the time to leave by another 1 1/2 hours. This made the already 10 hour drive pulling a trailor to Houston even later which was infuriating. Then, the next morning, I had received a text saying that my reservation was ready at the location I had picked because we were renting a 20' truck to move the rest of my son's belongings. Once again, there was no 20' truck and I was sent to another location to get the last and only 20' truck in the lot. I'm sure if I had gotten there another 5 mintues later, that truck would have been given away to another customer!! This also made us 45 minutes late to load my son's belongings at an apartment complex that reserves the loading time in 2 hour intervals and we started at least 45 minutes late because on U-Haul incompetency! You need to force people to turn vehicles into the location they choose instead of letting them take it anywhere because these businesses have no clue what is going to be brought in, etc. On top of that, I had a furniture dolly reserved and there were none available. You have got to do something to fix your system. It is incredibly flawed and frustrating. Next tiime, I will do anything to rent any type of vehicle besides a U-Haul!!! One more thing, do you have any standards on what the u-haul companies that rent your trucks look like? The first place I was sent to in Houston was horrible. All the trucks were dirty and in a severly muddy dirt lot so I got my car filthy. It was very dirty and dingy inside too. Very bad standards.

Truck was fine, but the employees were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. Additionally they did not have additional equipment such as a dolly, the employee stated that they hadn't had them for a long time and didn't know when they'd get more.

I was not that concerned about vehicle being clean it was after all the flooding in Houston, so that was understandable. The location had no control over my concern because it has to do with set up or configuration of the van. I was concerned about the placement of jack in the cargo van. This is a cargo van to move items sometimes large and heavy and the bolt holding jack near the back door sticks out far enough that hit my hand on it. If someone would have been on the other side pushing a larger item or box I could have hurt myself. This is just a suggestion of something to look into because I would imagine that there are more vans with this same configuration.

There was a lack of optional equipment for the auto trailer I rented. The 4-pin adapter for hooking up trailer lights is outdated. Please provide the more common 7-blade adaptor with all rentals. The safety chain s-hooks would not pass through my hitch tow point and I had to utilize u-shaped shackles to install properly. The staff at this location was helpful but did not have any additional personnel or tools to support the installation onto my trailer hitch. Otherwise it was a good experience and the equipment functioned as intended.
