When I first took the truck to drop it off the person was very defensive because I told them the gas tank was at the mark that I got the tank when I picked up the truck. The first location in Temecula told me the gas was siphoned out so I would not have a gas tank the right level. So he told me I would get 13.00 back if I filled the truck to 1/4 tank. I did not fill it to 1/4 tank because gas is more than 13.00 for a 1/4 tank. I also should not feel like it is my duty to fill the tank for the problem of siphoning gas by thieves. So I dropped the truck as is. I was not told that I was given a 13.00 credit in Temecula and I had not looked at the contract since it was sent to my email. Needless to say the lack of gas made the drop-off owner in Las Cruces upset with me. I told him the story and he told me he did not know my dealings in California and what was done or what was said. He was not responsible for that. He was going to charge me 13.00 for gas. I told him that was not right. Well he called some UHAUL top guy and explained what was going on. By then the Las Cruces UHAUL had charged me 13.00. After talking with the UHUAL guy on the phone it became clear to me and him what happened. So the Las Cruces said he removed the 13.00 charge. This all felt to me that UHAUL is not together as a team to help movers. I am happy that at the end the UHAUL owner in Las Cruces and I were seeing what transpired and it all involved money. Money is the bottomline.
