The person at the drop off was initially unhelpful. He could have explained the process of rescheduling the drop off location, which involved a quick phone call. Instead he said there’s nothing that could be done and I had to resolve the issue.

The person in the store was extremely rude/unprofessional, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
SANYASI PI ordered a van and that was not available despite it being reserved and confirmed. We ended up with a box truck so it worked out, but we would have preferred the van as we only had one item and it was challenging to drive the box truck. Otherwise easy!
Casey HThe app/contactless truck pickup was a completely unnacceptable experience. I've had an account with UHaul for years and rent several times a year, yet the app made me provide a contact to verify my identity, even after I provided my license and real time picture to match. That is ridiculous in an of itself, but to make things worse I was given no prior warning of this, so I had to scramble to find someone available while sitting next to my rental, all the time running further behind for my moving plans. Then, it wouldn't let me put my wife's phone number, saying it was used to make the reservation. I tried my own number just in case and it said the same thing. Why would both numbers be used to make the reservation? How many f*cking people doni need to bother at 7am on a Saturday to get my rental? Lastly, after 30 minutes, it finally let me complete the process, and then it just told me go inside to the counter anyways. Luckily, the app wasted so much time that the facility was open. But I had got there when it was closed and planned the contacless pickup for that reason, but it never would have worked in the first place. This if frankly the worst experience I've had with a service/company in a long time, and I expect a response and apology at a minimum.
Eric CYes. Great experience. The local dealer (mobil station in northboro ma) was very helpful. I extended the reservation with no problems. He explained all the detail about how to return truck. He came out to make sure we were all set before we left. I will rent from there again next time I need a truck.

I had no assurance that the vehicle had been inspected for fluid levels and had been serviced at regular intervals at that location. The attendant also did not mention that I had to inspect the truck and send the company photos of it before leaving the lot!

However it took 15 minutes to check out the truck due to being g continually interrupted by gas station customers coming into the store during the process. Vehicle was in great condition and well maintained. Returning the vehicle went smoothly as the associate checked in the truck while I was re-fueling it.

JACOB LThe man that helped me gave me world class customer service. I purchased several add-ons to help me with my move, and he helped with everything. Very friendly. When I returned the vehicle, he met me out in the parking lot and unloaded the dollies, cart, and furniture blankets. I’ve rented U-Haul trucks many times and this is by far the best experience I’ve had.

MARK BI frequently use UHaul and am satisfied. This whole experience was bad. Twice I had online confirmations for vans and trucks for this past weekend. Twice I received calls that there were no vehicles because of the busy weekend. Then I finally had to take a truck at an old gas station 30 miles from where I live. The gas station attendant could not get in to the system. Claimed the whole UHaul website was down. I had to wait 45 minutes for the manager to get it working. Another customer behind me also waited 30 minutes and was very upset. Then I was charged for the extra 60 miles because of the location. I was 16 minutes late and was charged an extra day after I waited 45 minutes at the beginning and had to drive all over. Overall terrible experience.

Antony TI tried to use app but despite repeatedly sharing location it would not confirm the location and forced me to check-in inside with the clerk. The truck was clean and seats were comfortable but the Air Conditioning and vent fans did not work. It seemed that maybe there was little fan activity only when going down hill.

Ronald DThe location is basically a gas station. There was just one person working there and everytime another client was purchasing anything, he had to interrupt with me. Otherwise he was super friendly. Nobody really showed us the basics and we had to figure everything out. It was raining and it was hard to do a proper inspection of the vehicle.

However, the vehicle had shot shocks/struts and the side mirror control was not working, both of which are safety issues. Also, I would not recommend the GMC van because the locking mechanism was terrible - I had problems locking all the doors and found it very easy to accidentally lock yourself out of the van. Accelerator was very touchy. Poor design. I was nervous driving this vehicle.
Douglas PI was very disappointed in that your reservation system made me drop off the truck 15 miles away in another town called Moultonborough when there is a drop off in my town of Meredith a mile from my house. Even more disappointing is that I had to pay extra for miles as a result

STEPHEN SRaj was a jerk and yelled at me for not removing the moving blankets even though I was told by two different uhaul reps I was supposed to leave them folded in the back of the truck, which they were. Unnecessary for this dude to be yelling at me at 7pm on a Sunday for following uhaul directions.
