I was told to drop the keys on the counter and that was it. No check on the cleanliness of the truck or the return of the blankets. I took photos because I feel unsafe that something might be charged to me despite returning the truck in good condition, clean, full of gas, with blankets, etc.

Weirdest uhaul experience. I reserved a 15' truck online. Online, I declined coverage since I have rental insurance coverage from both my car policy and my credit card. Easy enough. $27.95 + .79/mi on a sunday. It's at a convenience store, and the clerk was not much for communication. I asked if he was where I was supposed to check in for the uhaul, and in response, he asked my name. I stood in silence for maybe 5-10 minutes while he (on the other side of plexi glass), made a phone call, and eventually started scrolling on his phone. Eventually I realized he was scrolling on his phone to do something on a uhaul app or website.. He eventually handed me a key, and I got a text message directing me to a website for self-checkout. Quite strange. The truck was clean & functional. I got a text message link for the truck checkout where they prompted for photos of each side of the vehicle and the odometer. The app indicated that the fuel was at nearly full, but in reality it was just over 3/4, so I had to document that - it almost seemed as if they didn't review the state of the vehicle and just left it up to customers. I didn't see any kind of paperwork or quote for the rental at departure... Just this weird verification app/webpage. We used the truck and it worked fine. The dash computer showed 8.5mpg and I went ahead and reset that as well as the trip odometer. After my driving ~60mi hauling a piano for 1/2 that distance, the mpg was 11.1, so I put in 5.4 gallons and returned for dropoff. I handed them the key and they asked my name... After more tapping on his phone he said "you're all set" - no receipt, no information, no price... I asked if he needed anything and he said, "oh, it's in email". I pulled up email and sure enough. Just so strange that there was basically no signatures, no verification of ID or credit card, just about as plain as you could imagine. As I walked away, I noticed they charged me an extra $15 for their insurance coverage which was unfortunate since I had declined the coverage online and was never asked if I wanted it in person. Also, the paperwork showed that the fuel tank was full which was inaccurate (I refilled it to just over 3/4) I decided that the interaction was so weird that I really didn't want to go in and try to get a refund for that charge. So, I'd go back again, and I'd probably tell a friend they could go too, but I'd give a warning about the lackluster customer service and potential overcharge.
Cody BThe location is in a slum neighborhood. It’s a nasty convenience store and the guys behind the counter look sketchy and English is tough for them. They had no idea what they were doing. Asked me if I had already paid for the truck rental! It is a nearly new truck but it isn’t safe at this drop of location run by Tweedle Dum and TweedlevDumber
VALERIE MBad area of town.
Philip HI loved using the truck but would never pick up that location again they did not know what tf they were doing arabs i tell u lmfao
Stephen HI ordered 2 appliance Dollie’s and only got 1. I was told the other trucks got them. I reserved them. Not happy
Michael SThe young man wasn't interested in the job! He was more interested in his phone and the shop sales! He asked me to take a photo of the gas reading. Then sent us out again (even though we are both disabled) to get the milage. Your records will show I've rented exceedingly frequently over the past two years and NEVER received this laziness or sulleness.

Richard DThey had no idea we were coming and sat there for 20 minutes while the guy was on the phone with someone and made my entire day run late. Also, we didn’t order the trailer and I had to take it off myself. It’s a hood convenient mart that makes its money on single cigarillos and tall boys.
Laurie ATerrible. When I got there they had no paperwork. They called a guy who u had to give my license too over the phone. They did no inspection. Of how many Miles. There was trash in the back. They billed me 29 for reserving I dove 8 Miles and they billed me 70 more dollars. Unless something I'd done to return my money I will report you to the better business burea. This is a travesty of your business. You should be ashamed of allowing such a hideous placecwith no rules or regulations to share you name. Cancel this place. Never do business again. David WThe employee took my information and did not give me a receipt. 20 minutes later I was overcharged $77 - charged for gas that I did not owe. Awful business practice and absolutely unacceptable.
Mary RDid not come out to check it in.Gave us the paper work to do it for him.Never gave us a return confirmation. Said it would be email. Never received it.
Roger WThe people were so nice and helpful during a stressful time in my life, aka moving. They had exactly what I needed and the truck was very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely use them again for my moving truck needs!
Jessica YTruck had less fuel than was reported when picked up, I was unable to reach the location by phone beforehand, it is in a very sketchy neighborhood, the clerk stopped in the middle of my pickup multiple times to go check out other customers
Ray VI had a horrible experience with U-Haul I had made a reservation for a 20 footer ended up with a 26 footer. U-Haul over charges for everything! I even brought the U-Haul back early still was charged extra $15 over mileage other U-Haul I rented I was 2 hours late bringing it back they charged me an extra $40 between renting two trucks for 2 days it ended up costing me $600…. They are the biggest scam yet!! I was on the phone with U-Haul for 2 hours when they switched my truck size & they had no intentions of fixing there mistake!!!!
Jennifer MI was charged for a 3 day rental when it was a 3 hour rental!
Howard JWant Money back . Uhaul owes me
Jakob yWe used the check in at counter option and the guy couldn’t understand us (language barrier) and he was very rude about the whole process! The uhaul was great, but anything dealing with the people involved at this location was terrible! Definitely wouldn’t recommend renting your uhaul from this location.
Charles SI did not think this location was well maintained or located in a safe area of the city. I did not feel too comfortable being there or leaving the truck there either.
JEREMY WAgain, no refund was given at time of drop off. Horrible service. They didn't even speak clearly.
Adrea BWe did not receive the dolly that we ordered, but everything else was good.
