Stephen GI reserved a 4 x 8 trailer, but there was only a 5 x 8 ready for me. I should have been charged for the equipment I reserved but they charged me for the bigger one and automatically added insurance that I didn't want. The trailer was dirty on the inside. I wanted a certain dropoff location that I saw on Uhaul.com, but they told me they couldn't do it.

I brought it back and paid $65.70 for having it for less than two hours. I appreciate getting $130 dollars back, but still, $65.70 for not being able to use it at all seems a bit steep.

PETER RThese people aren't interested in actually helping customers. I made the reservation and called the location to ask a question about pickup. I was told that they were out running an errand and that it would be an hour before they were back. I said I was 25 mins away and again they insisted they'd be back in an hour. It ended up being over an hour. Pretty damn rude to make paying customers wait on you to run personal errands, especially knowing someone is in the middle of a stressful move and time is everything.
Melissa SThe people at the Norway inn were very helpful and accommodating when the 15’ truck was not there when I reserved it for 8 am. UHaul apologizes for the mistake and refunds me $50, the truck was to be back at 2, at 1230 I get a call from UHaul telling me that the truck will not be back at 2, they have a 10’ truck available and credit me with an extra day and an extra 30 miles which was nice but I ended up having to make three 160 mile trips to get all my furniture moved. Not very happy with the UHaul company not having the truck I wanted. Or compensate me with more than 30 miles.

mary vits a dirty little motel that requires you to call a phone number on the door for "assistance". no personal contact, not even a friendly voice. park the truck out of that way and drop the keys in the mailbox.... not even a secure key drop. I made sure I took pictures of EVERYTHING before I left
walt mDrop off location agent, Loretta, was uninterested in helping answer questions from me. Also, customer service agents (Autumn & Kylee) in Fargo, ND not very trustworthy. They give their word and committ to something. A few days later, they say they don't remember making the commitment. Not a good reflection on the people of North Dakota, and definitely a horrible way to run a business. Very disappointing...

Erik JThe best place to get a U-Haul around! I used a car dolly from another place last time and the straps were in horrible condition, the safety chains were missing the piece that makes sure they don't fall off, overall just not a good experience. Norway inn always double checks to make sure everything is in great condition and have amazing customer service. Most of the time if I need a uhaul and Norway inn doesn't have the one I need, I just don't get a U-Haul at all and find another way to get done what I need done, sad truth.

Dave NIt was rather complicated to just simply get a quote on renting a piece of equipment. That needs to be quicker and easier.
Donnie TThe motel manager was rude and disgusting. I had issues with self checkout and had to go inside to complete. She was telling us that she shouldn't have to help us and that she's normally not open at 8:30 because she needed to drop off her kids at school and that I was just lucky she was there or I'd be out of luck. Very unkept, filthy location with cats on the counters and a mess everywhere.
Dawn TStaff was friendly however the clientele staying at the motel was worrisome. Glad I went with someone to pick up because some people may not feel comfortable walking into the motel with the clientele that was outside.

Loretta LDont over book. Suppose to pick up u haul at 5:30 pm. Not returned until 7:00 pm. I waited for an hour and a half. After droving a hour and a half to get it.
Jody ANot impressed The man had dirty clothes on and ran around with no shoes on. The office smelled to the point that I would go open the door to get fresh air. The office had not been cleaned in a very long time. He was having trouble with the computer as if he didn't know how to use it. Like I said NOT impressed.
liz dThe U-Haul representatives at Norway Inn, go above and beyond. Mr. Lunestad is very knowledgeable with wiring, and gives great advice to fix your wiring, should it not work. He says he has wired many (personal) trailers, himself. And, they always throw in a joke or two, let alone tell you to have a safe trip.
Loretta LCalled when dropping trailer off as directed by U-Haul, no answer , called many times , next day I received a call from a rather rude and unprofessional U-Haul staff from the Jamestown location. I explained that I called apon dropping off and received no answer, come to find out they moved their location and was unaware but yet I was still charged for their mistake and had to rent my hotel room another night because of this issue. Not very happy at all

Noah HEasily the best U-haul experience I have ever had. This is a motel also if you need a place to stay. When I arrived Styrk checked my truck and told me that none of my trailer lights worked. He said he could not rent the trailer unless they worked. I called a local shot and was quoted $70 to diagnose the problem and then however much it was to fix it is additional. Styrk then told me it's a most likely ground issue when I got off the phone. He said for liability issues he can't fix it, but he told me exactly how to fix the problem and even let me use his socket, ratchet, and wire brush to clean the ground bolt. He checked my lights and they all worked! Saved me at least $70 and took 2 minutes! He then hooked up the dolly and showed me how to use the straps and everything to make sure the car is secure. Also if you speak Norwegian one person here also does so you will still be able to communicate!
Noah HVery dirty and gross place of business. Very run down and didn’t speak very good English. Wasn’t knowledgeable about what they were renting. Stay away rent from another location.

John TThe location i picked up the truck from was like a scene out of a horror story. Run down hotel that was extremely dirty, known for the hotel that sex offenders stay at and the people were not helpful. They let me take a truck with a check engine light on and didnt bother to tell me till I had taken the truck a few blocks and back to the hotel. When i got back the office was locked up and they wouldn't answer the phond. After several minutes they called me back and told me the check engine light had been on for the person that rented it. Why not disclose that info right away???

Loretta LJ & L Service in Jamestown ND was my pick up location..... I had a 15 foot truck reserved, and they didn't have one, so I had to get a 20 foot... I should be reimbursed for this, as it was NOT my fault that they didn't have the truck I reserved!........ The truck was FILTHY especially the windshield, I could HARDLY see out of it, even after using the spray and wipers. I noticed all the windshields on the trucks at this location were just as FILTHY as the one I got was.!
