Customers...we are the problem! I had to wait for the person who rented cargo van as some kind of "emergency". That customer, after been told of the 5pm reservation and saying he would be there, showed up at 5:40! The employee was apologetic, not her fault but the customer's! Don't advertise as being open and allow people to book online during your working hours and you not be open. I spent hours trying to talk with customer service and get instruction on the mobile sign in to get a key for the truck. The app is glitchy and the web browser is one of the worst navigating tools I've ever used to book a service.MICHAEL T.

The Uhaul web site and app are nice. BUT they only work every once in awhile. 2 of my last 4 pickups - they would not work and I had to go inside to pickup my vehicle.TED M.

The inside of the truck was disgustingly filthy and so was the shop. The clerk was nice, but if we weren't short on time we would have book a reservation at a different location. We wiped down the steering wheel enough to drive(and still wore gloves) but the cup holders had caked up dirt/unknown dark substance and every other part of the truck was filthy like it had never been cleaned since the truck was purchased. We expected better especially during covid. Please CLEAN the inside of YOUR TRUCKS!Glenda H.
Dropping off in some locations always come with issues especially when it is a one-way. I drove around Atlanta for some 45 minutes before I could get a place that accepted the equipment. That was awful. Make dropping off a bit easier.Olusola J.

-location was supposed to be open, it was closed - truck was empty of gas. â€œ3 mi to emptyâ€. Gauge read below â€œEâ€ - missing appliance dolly - had to rid all over to find an appliance dolley - $25 in gas and 4 hr last for a 1.5hr job to move one refrigerator - awful experience - 20- ur uhaul. These people only gave me $50 dollars back and after I loss $3500 due to the condition of their equipment.. he said he drove it after the van was checked out by roadside assistance he lied .. that van was gone the next day .. the only reason road assistance allowed me to drive it was because he said the wheel won't fall off .. and we got to tow it and give you another van but I know you have to work .. I drove that van 45 miles per hour back only to not get to work and be giving $50 refund fucc y'allCharlie B.

The store had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Would prefer for inside to be nonsmoking. Also no employees using masks making us a bit uncomfortable doing business inclose quarters. Having said that, the service was great. Jackie qorked very hard to get us the truck we reserved even though it was late being returned due to an extended reservation. I arrived 8:05a for a 7 am reservation, 5 minutes after my scheduled rental time frame. The shop wasn't open as it was not scheduled to be open at 9 am. That said, the rental van was not there. The store employee arrived at 830 am to prepare to open the shop at 9 am. She asked me was I there for a rental, I replied yes. She phoned the person who had the van and communicated to me that the lady who had the van would be there in 30 minutes. I waited until 945 am, no van. Being a holiday and not many other locations open, I was told (at 945 when I went back into the store to inquire) that the truck would not be back at all that day. Disappointed, I told the store employee I would come back later to see if there was another vehicle I could rent. I returned at 330 pm to see if anything was available to rent and she offered up a 15-foot truck that I had to return by 9 am the next day for a scheduled rental. I accepted the rental and asked if I could get the van mileage rate of .59/mile since the reserved vehicle was never there for my scheduled rental and I received no communication from u haul or from that specific location. She replied no, she could not offer me anything. I rent trucks regularly from U-haul (as I have an account with the company) and have not had such a poor rental experience. I always receive some kind of communication from if it is a text or email. With this reservation, I got nothing. Even this location has been very pleasant to rent from in the past. I would like someone from the company to phone me regarding this rental experience.Rodney P.

Even with a guaranteed reservation made well in advance, our truck had been given away one hour before we were set to arrive. Location owner was courteous and tried to be helpful but obviously had no grasp of how to handle truck rentals. He had keys to a truck that wasn't onsite and had no idea where it was; had a truck onsite that he couldn't locate the keys for. Because it was a weekend, there were almost no other rentals available within a reasonable distance so we had to wait almost 4 hours past our reservation time to get a truck and that was only because a customer had coincidentally returned theirs a day early. All effective communication had to be done by phone with a Uhaul rep, even as we stood in the shop. Never again.Greg S.

The individual was friendly and excellent customer service. The equipment was a piece of junk that should be taken off the road. Our guarantee for a 20' foot truck fell through and we were given this larger 26' truck. Not only did it have super high mileage, the truck leaked and some of our boxes were soaked from the rain. We left at 4:30 in the morning only to find out ONLY ONE HEAD LIGHT WORKED AND IT WAS SUPER DIM!!! The truck shimmied really bad and my husband was exhausted from fighting to keep it in the lane all 600 miles!!!! Shame on you U-Haul for renting an unsafe truck!!!!Don B.
