I drove up, and the guy walked out and met us at the truck. He looked it over, checked us out and that was that. Very friendly staff. I'll use them again.

Complete the online check in process ahead of time. I had provided all of the necessary information but the location did not enter that information into the driver/ renter profile so there was no expediting of the rental process.

The sight is a combined site with another business, there were no employees in the store on either occasion that I visited. I had to wait and look for someone to assist me. I believe the U-Haul had bundles of boxes to purchased as I have seen at other sites, if so, not here individual purchase only. U-haul didn't seen to be the first priority of business

Make sure the customer gets the desired pick up location. I had to drive 40 miles to pick up the truck, after making a reservation a month in advance for the pick up to be 8miles away. Day before pickup I get an email that says my truck is 40 miles away... wasn't real happy with that. Everything else was good

We were not able to pick up the truck on time.... 3 hours late!!! We returned the truck 3 hours early! Yet we were charged additionally for milage NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE What can be done about this?

I had to take the car dolly into a uhaul at my destination prior to loading the car because the driver side tire was missing big chunks of tread and I noticed it was bouncing around a lot. When the u-haul center in Lafayette Indiana took the tire off to replace it, the tire fell off the wheel due to the bearings being "completely disinigrated". That u haul center had to have a tech come from Indianapolis to replace the bearings. I lost use of the trailer for 2 days due to this. I was refunded 1 day with the owner stating "people usually only use them for one day". I had rented it from Thursday to Tuesday so that was 6 days I needed it for. I will not rent from this uhaul dealer again due to the lack of maintence on the equipment and customer service.

only frustration was I rented it and I ran it in town to get what we were supposed to grab and well we didn't need the trailer so we returned it right away. we were not able to get a refund, understandable the clerk at the station couldn't do that I will try to check with owner after the Monday holiday to see if a refund is available. if not its on me then. great service either way.

This is a great place and have rented there often and also purchase gas and propane. They also pump the gas for you. Only issues were having to wait since their staff is busy or interrupted by phone phone calls or new customers driving up for gas. They are very friendly and helpful and they try there best to help everyone as efficiently as possible.

I had a one way rental with a 5x8' trailer. The location I was “assigned” to was not my preferred pick up location. The gentlemen at the location were VERY courteous and helpful, HOWEVER, the experience I had to go through for my drop off location was unacceptable. UHaul customer service wanted their money up front, before assigning me a drop off location! Both the service station attendant and I were involved in a 39 minute phone call with UHaul customer service, about this issue. UHaul: If you want your customers to move around your equipment, it would seem that could be reflected in your charges. UHaul needs customer service training badly, with the people that run this company! The people at the pick up and drop off locations I dealt with, DO get what the definition of a customer is!

Clean the dang Truck out. When I unloaded my furniture there was black grease dirt all over my furniture. I have to have my couches cleaned, if the stains don't come out I will have to buy new furniture.

I was given a different truck than the one they had on the contract and they told me at return that it was "my issue." I have gone from a loyal customer to a person that tells people to use other companies. It was horrible. I reported it and was supposed to get a call back. No call thus far. Worst customer experience ever.

The trailers are old, clunky and difficult to get on and off a hitch. There is no crank so it's impossible to take a loaded trailer off a truck which is very inconvenient. Person at desk didn't offer to come help me hitch trailer up and I clearly wouldn't be able to lift myself. Not very impressed with equipment or customer service.

i reserved a 6x 12 trailer . i gave all information including drivers lic no. credit card no. date of exp etc over the phone a few days before rental date. when i arrived to pick-up trailer agent was alternating between talking on the phone and staring at /attempting to accomplish something on computer and talking to customer who had reserved a truck. seemed to be some major problem. finally after about twenty minutes i was able to ask agent if i could go hook up trailer while she resolved computer problem. she gave me trailer no. and i went and hooked up. the door of trailer had been left open and inside of trailer was completely wet. not just damp , like its raining inside the trailer wet,soaking wet dripping from the ceiling wet, i asked agent for paper towels and spent the next fifteen minutes trying to wipe down and dry out trailer, the agent did bring out a mop and wiped floor of trailer. then she handed me her phone and told me i had to give all my info i had given when i reserved to person on phone this took several minutes. altogether it took about fifty minutes to pick up trailer then i had to stop and get a tarp to put on wet floor and wipe ceiling and walls down again before we could start loading trailer

Make sure people know how to use your U-Haul system, to check in/out or fix issues. I spent at least an hour waiting for the guy to figure it out only to cancel order & start over. Then I called U-Haul before returning the truck to get things fixed and get back there to leave the truck and problems again sat there for another half an hour. Finally I told the guy you don't need me to check out you got my credit card. Ridiculous

Inspect equipment and make necessary repairs. Update records showing that equipment has been returned and is in your lot ready to be rented out. I understand it is very busy for one person to operate store, pump gas, fill propane, take care of u-hauls, etc.

The online check-in process is time consuming. I don't suggest it. By the time I took pictures, filled out alternate contact info, then they called to verify and I still had to go in the store to get the key and sign my name, a half hour of my time was burned up.

A little confusion on which of my 3 trucks I could use with the dolly but they gave me a toll free number and I was promptly helped out. I'm sure there are rules in place based on the weight of the vehicle being pulled with the dolly that I am not aware of. The staff was great. Very helpful.

Weeks ago, I was able to book a reservation for a Uhaul truck and trailer to be picked up in Grand Rapids, MN. I had been given a price online for bringing the Uhaul from Grand Rapids, MN to River Falls, WI (one direction). I had to move all of my belongings this past weekend from my house in Grand Rapids, MN to River Falls, WI, which is over 200 miles one direction. The Uhaul rep told me, at the time of pick up this past Friday that I have to have the vehicle dropped off at 2:30 pm on the same day of pick up. I told him that I had made the reservation for multiple days and for a one way direction to River Falls, WI. He responded that I made a reservation through a “local” Uhaul dealer. Having not known what he was talking about, it was frustrating learning that this reservation was made with a “community” vehicle that had to be returned. Uhaul falsely advertised to me that I could reserve for a one way trip from Minnesota to River Falls and when I showed up, the representative basically told me that I'm out of luck. What kind of customer service is that! I want to speak to a manager in order to get reimbursed for the false advertisement that I could drive the truck one direction and instead had to drive an additional EIGHT hours to get the Uhaul dealers vehicle back to Grand Rapids, MN so that they could have the truck for their next appointment. I literally had to leave a vehicle in Grand Rapids, take the Uhaul filled with my stuff to my new house in River Falls, WI, then drive the empty Uhaul back to Grand Rapids, and then drive back home to River Fallsc WI AGAIN! Why should I have to be the transporter for your inventory? Pay an employee for that - don't steal the money and time from your customers!
