ruon cThe staff was great and very helpful at this location. We definitely recommend them. The equipment seemed fine except the tongue jack didn't work on the auto transport when we tried to use it later. We were very disappointed when told, the night before pickup, that we had to go 38 miles away -76 miles total. That was an extra 2 hours of driving to get it. Not to mention the cost of gas! There were 2 transports at the UHaul nearby, but we were told they were only for local, not one-way rental. The reservation location requests should be honored. There is no reason to send us so far out of the way to pick up. Especially when we were in a large city outside Chicago where plenty of auto transports are available.

Frank MQuit expecting al customers to have smart phones. Not all of us do. I would have completed the reservation online if I'd had the option, but it required an app. Thankfully, the 800 telephone reservation system still works.
JOHN PHad error in rental charge. Uhaul location person gave a Indiana number to call regarding charges. Countless calls result in recording with endless wait times and finally canceling call. Finally called 800 number. Representative in Tampa area named followed up with rental location person and confirmed rental return date and time. Credit was received. Thank you U-Haul tep. brian sMy overall experience was TERRIBLE and will never rent from uhaul again. 1st 26 ft truck from location on 645 Weber rd broke down as soon as on as I pulled out of lot. It died out 3 different times and I was able to get it started and get it back to uhaul lot. I didn’t go a mile! Then I had to call road side because they didn’t have another truck. 3 hrs later they found a replacement truck which I had to drive 50 miles to get. Once at that location I could rent truck because the previous location did not show me returning truck so when i tried to rent truck they wanted to charge me again! After hours on the phone I was able to leave with truck. I finally got home at 2pm when I was originally at 1st location at 8am, 6 hrs to acquire a truck! Lost a whole day of planned packing and help! As soon as I started my 600 + miles journey the service light came on in 2nd truck and I had to worry for 600 miles that this truck was going to break down. When I returned truck in Madison TN the employees where rude and unconcerned of my problems. I told them the truck service engine light was on and it was overheating! They really didn’t care about the truck defects and we’re quick to get rid of me. Hours later I received an over Mileage invoice for 14 miles after uhaul are the ones that made me drive and additional 50 miles to to obtain truck. Is when I compare both invoices I was over charged at 2nd location. $1,355 at 2nd location and 1st location charges were $1,219!!!!! Very, very disappointed in the whole experience!!!!

Zaidon SThe owner was 15 minutes late while I was picking up the truck. The place is a dump. The truck was a hair under a quarter tank when I picked it up. I brought it back 2 hairs under a quarter tank and he charged me $42. I called and asked why I was charged he told me for the gas. Then I told him I'm writing a review on yelp over this and I hung up. He then texted me telling me won't be able to rent a truck again.

Timothy JThe owner of the place was really rude. He kept telling me that I was a goddamn bed renter. I will never ever recommend this place to anybody. If anybody goes there that I know of I will tell them to turn around and go someplace else. He play the blame on me for everything even though I was paying for the rental. I will never recommend this place to anybody. The way he talk to me he doesn’t have any business like views or the way he talks to people. I give this place a zero*Stars. I was really offended by the way he spoke to me. I think I should deserve a discount or I should talk to my lawyer and let my lawyer talk to you all.

Juanita EThis location didn't have the dolly I reserved along with the truck and I had to go to another facility to rent one. I think that I should have been aware that a part of my order wasn't available in advance not when it was time to pick up my truck. This was very inconvenient.

To my surprise that location was another store, that sold archery equipment that I didn’t know was there. So I got the trailer and found another location for my interests. Everyone was pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks
Glenda SThe most unbearable encounter EVER. I would never recommend. I have been to the pick up location several times and called regarding information needed to make this move perfect and pleasant. Mike did his part, or so I thought, but after all was said and done...NIGHTMARE. I reserved for a Tuesday morning pick-up and Thursday drop off . I reserved truck, transporter, and the required ins round trip, seeing it would be less expensive than one way. Despite being a petite disabled woman with no help, knowing this would take a toll to find I am literally back to where I started and now I am deep in a hole trying to dig my way out. I rented a 15 ft truck and a transporter flat trailer in order to move a 2008 F150 8 ft bed 1/4 cab truck that was inoperable to TN. It was extremely important that this went smoothly as I explained specifically the horror of what I was dealing with regarding my terrorists neighbors. I had no room for errors. Upon reserving ALL equipment, with insurance for both pieces. gas charge per mile for the full amount out the door price, as I asked for it on paper, never receive upon several requests, you dont get it until done. On Sunday afternoon I received 1st call 6 days after reserving, saying rental equipment not available what i need nor at location. I would have to drive way out of my way {no car} to be given what I asked for.ahead of time and I cant be given what I initially reserved, despite a larger office few miles away to bring whats needed. Lady said I can get 10 ft truck I said way too small, just let me wait to speak with Mike on Tuesday, she says shes cancelling order I said please dont do that. Come Monday I received another call late in afternoon, lady has no idea whats going on and says order still on, I get call Tuesday morning, now from Park Forest wanting to know what time I am picking up truck there. I told lady I was picking up elsewhere, I asked her about any notes on the file she said theres nothing despite 2 ladies saying they added them. I said impossible several calls, no notes. Mondays call the lady said she was adding notes and asking for some type of compensation for all the hassles I received. I ride my bike over Tuesday 9 a.m. as discussed for early pickup Mike never showed. I have to ride back home to only be ran off road by idiot and got hurt pretty bad. I call Mike at 10 he has problems with his phone service 10 calls later still problems. I google get different number, call and his response was Uhaul cancelled your reservations on Saturday morning saying you cancelled it and despite me telling him this was for sure he didnt feel a need to contact me to check?. Funny HUH? Sunday, Monday and Tuesday calls and not one person knew what was up except when am I picking up truck. Keep in mind I am ready to load truck, My home is packed, my fridge taken apart to get out door, all rest of food tossed in garbage to be stuck in town for another week as they tried to now make me do a weekend move which wo
