They gave me a car transport without working brake lights. The person from the rental store did what he could to help but the lights never worked. He tried to call customer service but they never answered. Corporate UHaul should provide better customer service to clients and associates. This is a fraudulent company, no customer service at all. The moving truck didn't have any windshield fluid either. UHaul is an awful rental company. Tge worst.Janeth N.

Let me start with the end. Where I finally picked up the Uhaul was an average place. One of those all you can get markets in downtown Louisville. So, that's the average rating. As for overall experience on Saturday August 21,2021 the service was worse than poor. The original location ( Pearls in Mount Washington KY) I reserved my Uhaul didn't have any trucks, so he sent me to another Uhaul place on Outer Loop here in Louisville. After waiting 30 minutes for the place to open, I called the customer service number listed. When I was finally connected to an agent, I was informed the location I was at had been closed for over a year. Even the agent on the phone was surprised I was sent there. The agent located a truck for me and I was able to finish moving my belongings.SEAN W.

He took the keys and didn't look at the truck. I was charged for gas even though I returned it with the same amount that I picked it up with, just under a half a tank. I think this is a scam and I will dispute the charge and contact the BBB.JEFFREY H.

When I went to pick up the uhaul I reserved originally at the 535 W Broadway location on Saturday 06/26/21 they didn't have one available. After speaking with a someone from a number the gentleman gave me I was informed that there wasn't a Uhaul within 100 miles of Louisville KY which cause me to delay my move and have to pay additional expenses to the property I was moving from for staying past the time I told them I would be out by. I relied on the fact I reserved a truck and was let down. If there wasn't a truck available a simple phone call could have resolved the issue or even letting me know when I called to make the reservation that one wouldn't be available on that date. Instead I lose money on top of wasting my time going to pick up a truck that wasn't available. The second location I went to which was the Oak Street Food Mart on Sunday 06/27/21 to actually pick up the truck from the second reservation was great actually but this isn't the first time I had trouble with getting a truck that I had reserved. Nothing against the Oak St location I would not recommend UHaul at all. To me the whole situation, which as I said has happen to me once before, was unprofessional and I regret relying on and doing business with UHaul.William G.

Customer service was poor, no help whatsoever from the clerk other than to ask me my name and a couple of other questions. I feel I should have received some sort of refund from the $137 that I paid in advance seeing how I did not use as many miles as was estimated in the beginning. I did receive a $2 refund however after they charged me $12 for the dolly when it should have only been $10.Kenneth B.

U-Haul corporate screwed me. I rented a 10 foot with unlimited miles. They called me and said they couldn't find one so I had to go 20 miles away and pick up a 15 foot. When my dad got there, the people who screwed with my account screwed up my reservation and they needed a tax ID even though I rented it as an individual. The very helpful independent agent did everything he could to help. This is purely a complaint about U-haul corporate. Then, when I returned the truck, I walked in and said "hey I'm returning a truck." The agent says "KEY!" I said okay, do we need a receipt? "NO JUST KEY. THEY EMAIL INVOICE." When i got the invoice, I was charged for too many miles. On a reservation that was supposed to have unlimited miles. I guess corporate screwed up my reservation every way they could. Second time I have used this place (or attempted to 2-2) despite the vehicle online being a 2nd choice, and going there to pick it up, the vehicle WAS NOT there. First Time I used these people 7/20 I had requested a dolly and never got it. Not real impressed with the service. Internet to store lack of communication? Or store issues in general?? I had problems returning the vehicle online. I use the duckduckgo browser 5.70.0 It's likely that that was the problem, but it was harder to return the vehicle than it was to pick it up. I should have used a different browser. I will try to think of it the next time. At any rate, the personal service was excellent.James B.

This location is unfit to represent Uhaul Corporations based on my experience. When arrived the personnel told me he had no trucks after 2 days of my reservation placed with the Company online. He then tried to tell me he spoke to the company 30 minutes prior to arriving that they should have called me to let me know he had no 10 ft trucks when there were 2 10ft and 2 Ft trucks on their lot later finding out the 2 10ft were broken down. Needless to say I had to take a 15ft Uhaul at same price of course. Very unprofessional as I maneuvered around their customers. I don't think he would have offered larger truck had I not prompted him to call Uhaul as I did also.connie W.

When I returned the truck I gave the guy the key and he said I was good to go. Later my card was charged $555 which I agreed with and then 2 days later my card was charged $740. I tried to call this location twice and no one answered so I went there and he just gave me a number to call. 18006281314 when I called I spoke to Brittany who was very rude and was actually yelling at me. While she was poorly explaining the charges she said one of the charges were for gas but when I returned the truck it actually had more gas than it was supposed to have. I feel like I was scammed. I was a regular at uhaul at the corporate preston location and I usuallydont have a problem. I won't go to any of these satellite stores again.JAMES J.

Dropped off the truck and went inside. I informed the employee that I was there to drop off the truck. He asked for the keys and I gave them to him. I asked if I needed to do anything else and he said no. I asked if I needed to sign anything and he said no. I asked if he needed to look at the vehicle. Again, he said no. When we showed up they told us they didn't have the dolly we ordered and just took it off the order. Moving without a dolly is very difficult! A call beforehand or trying to find us a dolly from another location would have been appreciated.James K.
