You guys charged me for my Dollie’s and they were not in the truck and the person that helped me didn’t have any extra
Uriel VOnline check in didn’t work. The guy checking out the truck also has online trouble so it took too long plus there was no alternate way to get paperwork done. Finally, truck had less than a quarter tank of gas, kind of hard to get where you need to go with that.
Brian MDrop off location was a nightmare.
ROBIN DUSUALLY MY ANSWER ARE POSITIVE IN THIS CASE CANT BE A WEEK AGO I REPORTED FRONT LIGHTS ISSUES.... THIS WEEKEND I RECEIVED THE SAME TRUCK WITH THE SAME PROBLEM MY MISTAKE WAS NOT CHECKING THE LIGHT FUNCTION.... TO MAKE MY WEEKEND WORST I WAS PULL OVER BY POLICE BC I WAS USING HIGH BEEN... I EXPLAIN THE ISSUED TO OFFICER AND HE CUT ME A BREAK BUT INSISTED NEXT TIME I WAS GETTING A TICKET.... I SUMMIT A 2ND REPORT TO EMPLOYEE.....
Ignacio REverything was great except two things The truck needs water fluid to clean Windshield And the most IMPORTANT THING HEAF LIGHTS NEED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY HEADLIGHT WOULDN'T TURN ON AT ALL...HOW IM SUPPOSED TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH NOW WORKING HEADLIGHT Other than that EVERYTHING ELSE AWESOME

DANIELA CThe problem I had was the truck smelled really bad. Apparently someone must of been smoking marijuana. I also reserved a dolly and it was not available when I picked up the truck. I should have been notified prior.

Ignacio RThe only reason i select AVERAGE is bc 1 person available for gas station,lottery tickets and receiver inventory PLUS UHAUL ASSISTANT is too much he made me wait 45 mints to get help That set me back on schedule most of the time he is very fast in n out but this time he had too much on his plate witch i totally understand but im also on a time crunch

Tamara TThe 20’ truck I rented had an engine hose (maybe water hose) sitting in the cab. I asked the attendant and he didn’t know if truck was ok to drive. He set me up in a 15’ instead. He was great…i just wasn’t happy about getting a smaller truck. I like the location and the people that work there. (It’s a gas station, not a uhaul office)
TODD OTruck was dirty and felt old (had almost 100,000 mi on it) and kind of disgusting. I did like that it was at a gas station so I could just fill it up and leave it when I was done.
Thomas LRented a pick up truck.Did not have one in stock. They gave us a 10’ truck for the same price. There was a padlock on the back gate and had to wait around for someone to give us the combination to open it. Filled it with gas as there was only 1/4 tank and had the truck back within 2 hours but they charged us the same rate and still charged us for mileage even though we filled it up. Unorganized and next time will rent from an official U-Haul location but we were in a rush.
Manny LI used the app to reserve and check in but had a couple issues with the app that were quickly resolved by the owner of the location. He was very friendly and helpful.
Todd OWould NEVER rent again from a non uhaul location, poor English , couldn’t understand anything he said , gave me a truck almost on E , we drove 44 miles and put 36 dollars on the truck and he still charged me an additional 28 dollars. So basically I spent 65 dollars for 44 miles driven. Never had thi issue before with U-Haul , always was given a truck on full tank and I gave back on full . According to him 3/8s wasn’t what I gave back even tho he didn’t even give me that he gave it on E and took advantage that I was on a rush to leave. I gave it back with MORE gas than it was given to me and still was overcharged . I will be disputing this with Amex .

Micheal HI was charged for fuel refill even though I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel as when I got it, I have photos to prove it. Truck was dirty, it’s evident they don’t really check the vehicles often.

Christopher NWhen we picked up the pickup it only had a 1/2 tank of gas. We ended up having to put gas in it and returned it at 3/4 tank of gas. We were not reimbursed for the gas.

Sunah AI ended up renting at this location because my first rental at 157 N Wayfield street did not reserve the van I rented and leave the keys for an early pickup. This resulted in a delay of 2 hours of my move and me missing a flight home. Also customer service contributed to this delay by giving me incorrect information when I called to say I could not pick up the van. They told me it was a timing issue when in fact the van had not been prepared for my pickup. That mistake alone cost me 45 min. The resulting cancellation and “re-reserving” of a new van was the most frustrating process I have ever seen. It required multiple phone calls because I had an out of state driver’s license even though I had made the reservation weeks before. The whole process was terrible and I did not receive the $50 credit I was promised for the inconvenience.

Charles YOscar helped me he was great. Truck was clean and ready to go as soon as I arrive. And the process was quick, unlike other uhaul places. Definitely recommend.
Monica LTerrible, they still charge you for a lot more even after you’re finished dropping off the rental. It’s cheap to pick up but they hit you with all this BS when you return the truck.
Alan RI had problems extending the reservation on the mobile app. I used the chat platform which allowed me to extend my time which worked fine.
Rainer NI have used UHaul for some 45 years and yesterday's rental experience was SO BAD I may not use UHaul again. TERRIBLE app experience. TERRIBLE online experience. The van was FILTHY, STICKY inside. Had not been cleaned for MONTHS & MONTHS. The only saving grace were the two (2) telephone customer staff who assisted with pick up and return. Bruce Senator

Roger AThe drop-off location was on Cherry, but the distance to the drop off put me over the mileage. I wish I could have selected the drop off location when the reservation was created to visualize it on a map. Possibly another location was closer to the apartment, but was not able to see those options. It was only 16 miles, but still it amounted to $16 at drop off. Maybe there was a different drop off within Long Beach, say 5 miles from the destination. Could have saved myself some money.
