The App updates for available vehicles. I had confirmed with location multiple times for 8 pm pick up. When I went to pick up online it kept saying my rental had been cancelled. Called 1800 # held for 30 min with no answer. Had to wait till 8 am next morning when shop opened up to get vehicle. Was a problem with app not location! They were great at location!JACLYN C.

I traveled 27 miles and filled the gas tank with 4.66 gallons when finished. All I had in the van was a queen sized mattress and box spring. I highly doubt I used 4.66 gallons to travel 27 miles. Unless of course that mini van gets 5.7 miles per gallon.SYDNEY T.

The *location* was fine. Your overall service was lacking in almost every respect. I reserved a 10' truck 6 WEEKS in advance. I checked in almost weekly via your customer service phone line. They wouldn't commit to any specifics other than the reservation date, kept telling me to call back two days prior to my res. Two days before res, I call. They tell me the location, pickup time and vehicle will be different from what I requested. I call the actual location, and they say "well, we DO have the 10' truck you prefer, and we CAN reserve it for the time and date you requested." I was so dubious that this would hold true for another 24+ hours that I drove over immediately and rented the truck a day early. Your reservation system has been abysmal for years, let's face it.Garth C.

A lot of difficulty getting the van rental after hours. Lots of repetitive/duplicative requests for information (license, photos,etc). It took about an hour to finally get the â€œcodeâ€ to unlock the box holding the van key. Hassle.KEVIN B.

I should have been set up to return the truck atCrescent City. When I made it to the dealer at Crescent City, the dealer said I couldn't return it there. I tried calling U-Haul Customer Service. Waited and Waited. Now it was after hours. I downoaded the app. The app told me I would have to return at a bunch of dealers. The closest to Crescent City was 90 mikes away with no way to get back to Crescent City. Now I fekt totally fucked by U-Haul and went bezerk with anger. I called U-Haul customer service, waited and waited while fuming with anger. The customs service rep was very helpful. I found I could return the truck at the dealer at Crescent City.. The rep helped me most of the way through the after hours return and I finished the rest by myself. I left it in front of the dealer's office.Charles C.

The biggest very frustrating thing, Is this online myuhaul.com and UHaul.com. If you have no internet reception you are basically left with a house with boxes for storage. I had to leave and try to find some type of Wi-Fi but had to be at that location to pick up truck. For location. Customer service did what they could but could not would not give me code to get key. I had driven 4 hours to get there. We ended up not able to get it. So we cancelled and tried the next day. We were ab!e to get key however when it was time to take back the truck we could not do the drop off. Another customer service guy who was very good on Sunday. He advised me what was needed and made a note for drop off people. When we arrived they had already charged my carf, we had advised I Haul we were going to pay cash. No biggie. I know things are crazy with the Virus. I just feel the problems it caused, in the future you may want to make the online available. By either putting in a hot spot or something that will allow you to go on internet or a way to connect with your customer.Terry M.

When U-Haul says $19.95/day plus fees they mean it. My one day rental was $78 with mileage charges for 61 miles. And put $17 worth of gas in it.glen W.

I for one, gladly endorse, and appreciate the "customer service", I received from the team at Ocean View Rv. in Fort Bragg, Ca. After a very stressful day on my journey home; I arrived at their location in a very dark and dense, late evening fog. After finalizing my payments and such; the guys at the Fort Bragg location were very helpful in locating a taxi service; this above 'customer service' was well appreciated. The power was out in our area and the rental of a trailer was not able to be done without a rep present. 800 # was ok but useless. Very frustrating! Every UHaul location should have a trailer with at least 6 or 8 motorcycle tie-down locations. They would not interfere with the trailer being used to haul any other cargo.Joseph D.

I couldn't be more pleased with the return of this truck. I don't think it took even more than 5 minutes once it was my turn to be helped. All together I maybe spent 10 minutes in this store.
