Not the location's fault but I am disgusted that UHaul would charge me $20 for an off-hour dropoff when the web site would not process my multiple attempts at submitting the mileage / fuel details and require me to spend a half hour with customer service and send pictures off the fuel guage and mileage just to complete my rental.Donald M.

This was the worst trailer I have ever pulled. Bounced constantly the hitch so loud it gave us head aches. Weigh was all the way forward with no relief. I will never rent this type of trailer from you again.Brayden F.

I didn't know that I was going to get a $20 charge. I booked the trailer for 16 hours and delivered it back earlier than I booked it for (16 hours booked and brought back early at 1 am). I didn't know that there was an after hours service fee. Other than that the item operated as expected.John B.
I was overcharged, the equipment was in poor working order, the trailer brakes or something on it seemed to be broken so it relied on my vehicle for braking. It made horrible noises everytime we went to stop. The representative at the gas station knew I was returning after hours as I told him that upon pick up, he said no problem his store would be closed regardless and he went ahead and charged me an extra day regardless. I took a video as proof and submitted a complaint. Definitely do not recommend this location at all, extremely disappointed.Courtney W.

After arriving to the scheduled location at 9am (time that was confirmed) - roaming around the building for an hour (whilst paying movers for nothing at home) with 15 or so other equally confused and panicked UHaul users, calling uhaul 3 times with no useful help, I finally asked to let me pick up at another location, seeing as no one came to work August.1st. I was sent to the Ogden rd location: quick, easy, painless- private franchise for sure! thought it'd be smooth sailing from there. Ha. Ha. No way. UHaul. I hate you so much. I drove home in the truck (which I was required to get for double the cost of what I had initially paid for and neededâ€” drop off/pick up container serviceâ€” anyway) movers start loading up to drive to the FIRST location that screwed me earlier that morning- so I CALL- TO CONFIRM THAT THEY ARE OPEN AND I WILL HAVE ACCESS TO MY SHIPPING CONTAINER AS I GOT MOVERS TO PACK IT. â€œYes, no problemâ€ 25 minutes later we arrive â€œThere is no forklift operator here to get you a container today, you'll have to come back tomorrow.â€ The truck ended up costing $140- (having to keep and pay for an entire day I didn't need- extra mileage from coming and being turned away, and doing it all over there next day) Atrocious. Following day- 3 people ahead in lineâ€”over an hour wait. the poor manager is all by herself, nearly in tears trying her best. Not being able to pay another $300 for movers(especially- cause who knows) I had to spend 5hours packing it by myself, and lose a shift at workâ€¦the strain hurts a lot more when you keep remembering you'd paid $350 for movers, you didn't even get to use. Clearly, there is staffing problem, which says more about uHaul as an employer than anything else. I hope that young woman gets a raise, and has full benefits and paid vacation time. I am so nervous about the arrival nowâ€” did I just pay for movers I won't be able to use again?? I was told I could have the truck for the same price as the pod pick upâ€” oooh so generous. But paid $140 for 2 days cause of your mistakes. You guysâ€¦ just do better. And give me my money back.Andrea C.

Again, these people are not UHaul employees. I was supposed to get a refund for bringing the gas level up to a quarter tank. He said the computer does not allow that, even though my contract said so.Andre F.

When we went to pick up our uhaul, they were â€œsold outâ€ of the shipping blankets that we had ordered, we had to put fuel in the truck before we even left the premises because the truck was on 1/8 of a tank, and when we got to our house to load the truck, the back had not been swept out, there were nails, drywall, and drywall dust covering the inside of the box. Definitely not my best uhaul experience.John S.

We had so many problems and inconveniences through this trip. The location of the pickup of the rental was kind and curteous. That's the last good thing I can really say.Kiara A.
I booked my truck a week in advance, showed up and they said they hadn't assigned a truck to my reservation so I had to call their customer service and then drive to another location to get the truck I reserved and then when I was collecting the keys for the truck at the second location I was told I might not be able to take that one because it was booked and had to stand around and wait while calls were made. This all delayed me about 45 minutes to an hour.Jodi W.
The trailer that i had reserved was given to another customer that used my phone number, email and home address with a different name, then he sent us to Barlow, which did not have a trailer, they then sent us to Kensington. Not impressed at all!!!Bryce M.

I would like to get my money back on the items we did not order. The guy at the Gas Plus pickup just gave us the dolly and furniture dolly, but we didn't request it, then Uhaul charged me for it! In addition, we didn't want the equipment and couldn't use it anyway since we were taking stuff up stairs, no over long flat distances. Then, when trying to return the vehicle and items, we showed up early, but no one was there. Initially, we did not receive a lock for the back of the truck, so we had to put the dollys into the cabin so they'd be secure. Please refund me for the items we did not want, did not use, and gave us trouble when returning. Thank you kindly, KiaraKiara C.

The trailer was dirty and had oil sprayed on it from previous use and had a near flat tire. The condition of the trailer did not affect my use of it and the U-Haul attendant filled the tire with air once it was hooked up to my truck. He also provided excellent customer service by assisting with hooking the trailer up. Overall this rental was great and allowed us to rescue, in a timely manner, our Victoria, BC residing friend's child and his car which broke down 2 hrs away from Calgary as he was on his way back to BC from school.Kevin H.

My experience with you guys was terrible. I originally had an appointment(24865771) at 10:00 to pick up a 20 foot truck. I was called 2 days before my move date to ask if I could pick it up at 11:15 instead, which I agreed to. When I went for my 11:15 pickup, I waited in line for about 20 minutes and then was informed they don't have my truck, but I could pick one up in midnapore, which is the opposite side of the city. After driving straight there, I discovered they closed at 12:00. It was 12:06. I called back and was told there was no other 20 foot trucks available, but I could drive to okatokes or strathmore for a 26 footer! Not even in the same city! Meanwhile, the people I hired to help me move were waiting at my house with nothing to load my stuff into. Fortunately a friend of mine was able to track down the 15 footer we rented from the Ogden location and we were able to move me in 2 trips instead of one. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in the service and experience. There is very little you guys could have done to make this move a worse.Ryan H.

It's winter and messy. I get that. I went on my phone to check in and check out on mobile. Agent gave me wrong set of keys, vehicle was dirty. Most critical issue was that I rented a furniture dolly which ended up not being in truck when I got to my destination. Got a friend to bring his truck and dolly which meant my rental was useless. I'm providing this feedback to suggest you have a step in checkin that asks if your add on equipment is with you. This could have been avoided. Wasn't a good experience today. I discussed with the agent. He told me it was up to me to ask for the dolly. Ok I get that because I guess he can't see the order.Cameron S.

Location was old run down service station. Initial service and pick up was handled well. Only travelled 18 miles with vehicle during lease term and still filled up with $10 of gas. Upon receiving emailed receipt I was charged an additional $18.00 for gas fill up plus another $30 fill up fee. This was a blatant attempt to rip off the customer.Shawn B.

Just horrible no point in reserving for a certain location cause chances are they will call you to send you somewhere else (so we used more kilomaters bc we were sent farther away from our mobing location twixe sonwe were charged extra for going over.)happened the last 3 times we made reservations. The dolly wad broken the wheel ever moved when we told them that we were told oh well. They didn't give us a working one nor a refund since it was barely usable.thry just put it in the truck. I was contacted by Uhaul 3 days prior to picking up the truck to tell me that my original "guaranteed" pick up location was changed to another location. An inconvenience, but not a huge issue. I had to pay extra for KMs because the other location was quite a bit further away. I had email, text and verbal confirmation of a 6am pick up via the mobile pick up, ride share service. The truck was NOT available at 6am and the mobile pick up was non existent. I was told to wait until the store opened at 7am to speak with someone. The store worker rolled in at 7:15. The app is dreadful, doesnt work well at all. Trying to contact someone over the phone is a laughing stock. When you eventually get through to someone, they transfer you to someone else, or a place that isnt open yet. They must be doing it for a laugh. Garbage customer service and garbage company. Not many options for moving trucks though. Shame. Stay away if you can!Samuel V.
If you are traveling with a RV, this is a bad location. The incline going into the parking lot was so steep we got hung up, had to unload the car off the car hauler trailer and unhook the trailer from the RV. Luckily a good samaritan stopped and moved the car hauler into the parking lot. Would not recommend. By looking at all the gouges in the asphalt, this has happened many times.John M.

This was the WORST experience with UHaul!! First, the truck reserved was not available. The pickup location then changed. Upon arrival to pick up the truck there was nothing but confusion. The process took an hour and a half!! I have been DOUBLE CHARGED for the rental. The amount had been debited from my credit card TWICE and has not been rectified. Still! Then, when attempting to drop the truck off, the app would not work. An HOUR on the phone to get someone to talk to and we find out that the dropoff location indicated was not available. It meant a 45 min drive across the city to a new dropoff location. I am STILL waiting for the duplicate charge to be corrected and am VERY unhappy with the entire situation!Avery G.

When we entered the truck, there were ear plugs with ear wax in the cup holders. We wanted 12 furniture pads, but only got 6. When I was asking questions to get clarification, the worker seemed to be getting annoyed. 1 person runs the gas station, propane and the U-Hauls, so if you're in a rush, don't bother picking that one.Joshua R.
