The U-Haul smelled like weed really bad!! We tried airing the truck out but now my stuff smells like weed! Whoever had previously was transporting weed or smoking it! Worst U-Haul experience ever!

We put gas in it that didn’t register on you app ( there was more gas when we returned it then there was when we picked it up) got billed for more gas

Marcus WThe location was fine, and the truck was clean enough. There was some big rattle on acceleration though. The hassle was trying to pick it up… the reservation never mentioned that I needed the app, just said I needed my phone. I didn’t have the best service so it took forever for the app to download. Once on the app, even though I had already made an account online including uploading my drivers license, and all that stuff, it still made me jump through hoops to get the truck. Like taking photos of my drivers license etc when I had already done that online. and then ask for my employment and to verify my employment… I am self-employed, so it wouldn’t take my phone number. I had to use my husbands phone number as he is owner of the business too, but he was in a conference. It was just a complete cluster bleep, and took forever! and so starting late, caused me to drop it off an hour late, and of course, I had to pay a fee for that. Even completing the drop off through the app took a good 20 minutes. And I got charged for my own inconvenience!

ANTHONY OWe did specify in our requests that we get a newer truck with low mileage due to the long distance we had to drive. That was not provided. Also, we ordered a 20 ft truck. This was smaller, with a “granny shelf” which did not fit our need; we expected a full 20’ interior, so we felt deceived by U-Haul.
LISA DThe front tires need to be replaced. They’re below 2/32 on the tread. That’s a serious hazard specially if you’re going across several states like I did.

Sarah JThey told me I received two dollies and a dozen of furniture blankets when I didn't receive any of it. I was able to find a dollie which I requested 1. They also said that both dollies have not been returned. Also said that I didn't return the furniture blankets when I didn't even receive them. Now they're trying to charge me a lot of money for something I didn't even do. Also the truck was disgusting when I picked it up. I knew if I didn't clean it they would have charged me a cleaning fee so I cleaned it up myself. The mobile pick up and drop off is horrible. Would not recommend. Make sure you document everything and talk to a real person.

Bill RLa persona que estaba en el escritorio se porto grosera tenia que regresar la van a las 3pm llame a las 11 am para una extensión y la mujer que estaba allí no me quiso dar una extensión por que ya estaba rentada no entiendo como van a rentar algo que todavía no entrego. Tube que ir a entregarla y rentar en otra sucursal que fue muy diferente el trato muy amable y me explico todo lo que tenia que saber y resolvió todas mis dudas y me di cuenta en la 2da sucursal que la mujer del establecimiento anterior no había puesto que ya la había entregado. Por eso le doy 1 estrella.

Sarah WThey need to clean the inside of the uhauls before they let someone rent them. The seats had a some mud/clay on it when we picked it up. The floor is okay since that’s where feet go but just not on the seats where we have our hands and stuff on.

samuel pYou can improve by not charging ridiculous fees! $25 to fold up blankets is unprofessional. That’s not a cleaning fee. That’s somebody doing their damn job. A cleaning fee is throwing trash I left, wiping up spills, etc. Which I did none of that. I filled up the tank above the requested and did not get reimbursed for that, which I didn’t expect to anyways. My point, no one explained to me that I need to fold the blankets up or else I would be charged ridiculous fee! If someone would’ve told me to fold the blankets up, I would’ve folded them up and put them in the corner or wherever you guys wanted them.
