There was some mud on the tires but it didn't effect its performance. If I had to guess I'd say it was maybe Kansas mud? But I'm no expert. Very easy move. Thank You!
Edward YIt is typical to expect a dolly when moving. I should have been contacted prior to arriving to inform me there wasn't one available so I had time to prepare for other arrangements.
Sheri DThe store is getting my Excellent rating for getting me a truck with no hassle. U-Haul reservation on the other hand gets a rating of poor. My reservation was bounced to another town after I specifically told them on the phone, I did not want the specific truck if I was going to get switched to another location. I said I would take another size truck if the one I wanted was not available. Of course, I show up to get my truck and they did not have it. I will say they sent me a notice saying my pickup was in another town but didn't read it as I believed the person I made the reservation when they told me it wouldn't be a problem. This also caused me not to have the equipment I requested like blankets and dolly. This is the second time my reservation has been bounced to a different location on me after making the reservation.

morgan mOverall everything went well. As a part of another business and not a u-haul dedicated facility it is not clear who to talk to at first. Staff helped immediately. Equipment options are limited.

Larry MWent to reserve tuck on Thursday night for Saturday the people at Ace didn’t have a log in or something. Had nothing to resolve problem except to register on line at home. Went to pick truck up Friday night the lady didn’t really know what she was doing either took a long time. Noticed insurance was on my bill and questioned her about it her reply was I had to have insurance on it. Thankfully there was a lady in the parking lot when I bought the truck back that seamed to know what she was doing and took the insurance off my bill. So 33% of the people I dealt with knew what they were doing. Not impressed
stevens JThey were kind and helpful as we figured out the mileage error and the other issues associated with the drop off. They apologized for the other location failing to give us a drop off time. They were patient and very kind!

Barbara DOnce I got to this location, it was fine. But I had to go to another location first--I never got a call that Oregon was my destination until I got to a Rochelle, IL location. And they didn't have a clue what was going on. I wasted too much time there. I'm extremely disappointed in my overall experience for the price I had to pay.

Lesly WThe fuel tank sensor didn’t properly engage until I had driven off the gas station lot and had crossed a bridge, showing that I had put in about $20 more in gas than I had needed to do so. This was frustrating enough, but then, upon returning the truck, the mileage and fuel levels hadn’t been properly recorded with the staff before my rental, so even though I had taken photos of the dash before and after the trip, an employee was sent to the truck to verify information. They relayed the exact same scenario which the photos I had taken depicted. This was frustrating for a number of reasons, mostly though, because I was told how strict the application of fees were for failure to properly replenish fuel used on the trip. To have spent the extra money due to a lagging sensor only to see that the staff was very much unaware added frustration to an already much more expensive trip than I had been expecting.

JAMES MNotice should be given that keys need to be picked up across the street inside the store as the bar code for scanning and vehicles are in a different area. Also, equipment did not have blankets and dolly so I had to go back across the street and wait for someone to come over and get them for me.
Steve BPickup location and personnel are excellent, however this is not a dealer. I did the entire order through the app, which was super easy. I ordered a dolly and when went for pickup they did not have. They could not take charge off so I was forced to pay. The truck ran well, however there was no driver side windshield wiper blade. The had some small trash and just generally dirty.

Martin BRevived phone call 1 hour before pick up time and was told I had to dive an hour and a half to pick up trailer and that's bull and it really upset me. The trailer I picked up was also broke on the ratchet to hold the car down that i didn't notice till we put the car on the trailer. The ratchet was held together with zip ties and the place I dropped it at was not happy either you need to have working equipment if your going to rent the stuff. So the whole experience was not good at all.

Mary HThis was not my original place to pick up UHaul. It was suppose to be picked up in Dekalb but when I got there the place was closed. I had to make several phone calls and spend 2 hours trying to take another UHaul done. Thankfully the UHaul place in Oregon came through and were super about things but this experience was a nightmare and put me,my family and the people I paid to help us move extremely behind. My next UHaul usage should be free for the stress and running around and phone calls I had to make to get a new UHaul at a different location. I will seriously questions using UHaul again.

Larry LI reserved the vehicle for a 10am pickup and assumed I had until 10am the following day to return it, but told the person that we would probably have the truck back by 4pm that same day. Little did I know that then they rented the truck out at 4p that same day and we were running later than I had thought. So the store is calling us saying that people are waiting for it. We had it back within 15min of that, but this needs to be told to people that they may rent it out again within that 24hrs that you are paying for.
janice kTruck and service was great, however, we had to travel several extra miles because our location was changed. We did appreciate the extra miles given to us for our inconvenience.
Chris LHere's the deal. I rated this location as average - not for any reason specific to the facility itself, as it should have been rated as excellent. I rated it as average because the process to pick up the truck was absolutely ridiculous and borderline insane. The system that Uhaul has to reserve a vehicle and identify the preferred location is awful. I reserved and paid my deposit three weeks prior to me needing the vehicle. The day before, I find out that there is no vehicle available closer than 30-ish miles away. Then, I found out on the way to pick up the vehicle, after speaking with Uhaul scheduling directly, that the truck that I was scheduled to pick up was reserved for someone else and that I had to go to another location that was nearly 80 miles from my house. I would've preferred being told there were no vehicles instead of being sent on a goose chase and then having an attempted re-routing once on the way to pick up my scheduled vehicle. Needless to say, I picked up the vehicle that I was originally en route to and upon arrival, I found out that there were three of us reserved for that one truck. Three!! This is insane. Uhaul needs to do a better job at routing their trucks to locations to avoid this kind of situation - or you need to buy a larger fleet of the 26' trucks. This was the most frustrating and maddening situation ever. The poor girl at the pick up location said that this happens all the time and they get yelled at when they have nothing to do with scheduling at all. I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again and I will tell others to look elsewhere - which is why i will not recommend this location to a friend. This was an absolutely terrible experience.
Holly VMy below average rating is not on the location because the problems were not their fault. First of all I arrived to pick up at 1:30 as requested and the truck wasn't going to be back until 3:00, so I had to drive 30 minutes back home and wait. The truck didn't return until 4:30 pm. Went back to get the truck and the u-haul computer system was not running properly. The poor girl at this location had to get corporate on the line, they put her on hold and then disconnected her. I finally reached corporate myself on my cell phone after waiting quite awhile. The whole process took an hour to rent the truck. Again it was not the fault of the location, it was u-haul computer system and the client not returning the truck on time. The distance from my house to the location is 30 minutes, so there was an hour wasted on an unnecessary trip and an hour wasted trying to rent the truck. When a u-haul dealer has to wait in queue to get through to corporate on the phone - that is just ridiculous

Melanie AIt went to Oregom Il. The people received incorrect info provided by the rental people, Could not check in. Her name was Susan and very, very helpful. They had put contract info incorrectly

DON MFix the computer system used by the agent to rent the equipment. Checkout took more than an hour. The agent had to restart the process several times because the system would not complete requested actions.
