The person that helped us was not knowledgeable and told me the wrong information about the return location. She said it was possible to return to any location but when we went to return it at the visalia location we were informed that it had to be returned to the location it was rented from. And she also miscommucated that we only had 6 hours when we requested more time.Ricardo B.

U haul needs to improve their equipment overall. Truck leaked water on my stuff from rain. First truck had miss matched flashers so I took second truck. Lights flickered on and off going over steep grades in dark when I need to get to my destination out of state.William G.

I'm very pleased with the local people, but whoever took my reservation really screwed it up. When I called to verify my truck I was first told my truck was reserved for Palm Springs, then I was told that it had been cancelled. The local Visalia guy got me hooked up with a truck out of Orosi, CA. That cost me about $100 extra plus the time driving to and from Orosi do to your companies screw up. I also hate the fact that I can't call the local people, but I doubt if you really give a damn.robert B.

The pick-up location was 60 miles from the location in Fresno, CA where I was originally going to pick it up. It was really inconvenient, plus the additional gas and time to get there. I was most unhappy, but I was committed to this move, so I was forced to go along with the program. Not having a 6X12 trailer closer to where I expected to pick it up sucks.Art S.

The person that helped my told me serval times that he didn't work for Uhaul.. and was unfamiliar with the process and that he worked for the storage place only and the person that could help was unavailable they didn't have the equipment that i requested. I felt that the person that helped me should have been trained to assistance and client .. i had to call the online number serval times while there to be checked in to pick up leave with the truck .I was ready to cancel the rental serval times ..because of the service , the saving grace was the assistance from the person that i called serval times that dayGracie N.

There should be better communication between the 1-800 UHaul number and the businesses that rent out the trucks. When we called the 1-800 number we were told we would have to return the truck on Tuesday since it the rental location was closed Sunday and Monday due to the holiday. When we got to the location we were told it has on hold for someone else. We then had to call the 1-800 number again to have it clarified. Once all that for clarified, we were told that we HAD to return the truck the next day since they would be open. We did say that we were told it would have to be returned Tuesday at exactly 830am (when they open) and only be charged for 1 day rental. We then we're basically told that if we were to return it Tuesday we would be charged for the additional days and he didn't know why we were we told otherwise. I am very disappointed I.
