App let me book a specific truck size but then I was contacted and told they didn’t have that truck and had to upgrade to a larger size. It was inconveniently large and hard to use.

Rented units from OPT for several years. They are the best people to work with. Facility was clean and well maintained. The owners are always just a text or phone call away. I highly recommend OPT for storage and U-Haul rentals!!!

While we saw no one during the return of the trailer - we did call and spoke with someone on the phone. The female remotely opened the gate and told us where to park the trailer. We explained the issue with the tire and she said she would look at it. She never showed up. No post-trip review was done (however, I did take pictures and we had filled the tire that morning).

Trucks are clean but the windshield is always bug splattered

The Windshield was filthy. I had to go next door at the Exxon station to clean it. I had lots of dirt, mud and bugs on it. With the condition of the windshield, it was not safe to drive. The cargo area of the truck had not been cleaned out from a previous rental, dirty, had lots of what looked like animal feed pellets. There was no one onsite to talk to, I had to text back and forth with the lady that runs the location. I also had to take pictures and text them too her. Response was very slow. Today I got my revised receipt, I was charged for 43 miles while I only drove the truck 7 miles from pickup to drop-off. I did send a picture of the odometer via text to the lady. She transposed the last two numbers of the mileage from 27,059 to 27,095. I texted he again and asked that my charges be corrected. That was 30 minutes ago, no response so far. With all of the added fees to jack up the bill, you would think better service would be provided, but alas, U-Haul is becoming like a large majority of other companies that invent fees (think cable or phone companies) and would not try to piss of customers.

Need to know where to go to pick the trailer up. There was no obvious office and we finally called to find out where we needed to be. Otherwise the woman who helped us was very nice, and she told us where to go and got us on our way pretty quickly.

About a couple of hours into our departure, the oil change light came on. We reached out to Uhaul for roadside assistance. They came two hours later. Our arrival time was significantly delayed. This should have been checked by Uhaul before customers rent their truck. It's unacceptable and we ended up wasting valuable time and resources.

I needed a truck same day as reservation. Might I say, the customer service was excellent. Mrs. Lori Cossey contacted me personally, and waited for me to get there & do the paperwork. I had to go back home to get another driver in order to pick up the truck, and she waited for me to do that. They had exactly what I needed there on site. The truck was ready to go when I returned. I did the transaction right there beside my vehicle, and it was quick and easy. Mrs. Lori Cossey was super nice, courteous, and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, and made it extremely easy for me. I will most certainly call upon them again, or recommend them to anyone, if needed.

Make a covered trailer actually waterproof, truck/trailer leaked from base of door and from top onto granny ledge!! Which doesn't mix well with loaded products!! Still no response from business owner(who was so quick to respond) when grabbing rental! Also had keys in wrong vehicle...what is policies with damaged transported products?

some customers may require assistance picking the trailer tongue up for attaching to the vehicle.... maybe leave the tongue on blocks or install jacks on the trailer
