Pre-rental is a little bit of a process… I never had to take pictures of all the angles of a tental on my phone.. I don’t feel that this should be the job of a customer that is renting an equipment. It should be the job of the person you are renting it from.
BEATRIZ GThe equipment was great, the fella I interacted with when I returned the vehicle was so gracious and pleasant to deal with. My only "gripe" is if it is a night pickup, there are no outside lights around the property making things very hard to navigate or for the pictures for mobile pick up.

anmoldeep sThe only thing that was disappointing was the direction of the trailer when I picked it up. It was placed so I would have to back it out onto a very busy street. Parking area is too small for turn arounds if cars are at the convenience store.

BASHIR HGenerally the app check in process was good, but I wish I'd known ahead of time I needed a third contact to be available at the early hour I rented it at. I also didn't like that it asked for miles I would travel. We're in Canada, I only think in km.

RITTU RThe 5X8 cargo trailer travelled well. The only issue we had was that the non-slip surface on the ramp needs to be improved. We were loading with misty rain falling, and the ramp became very slippery. A different type of non-slip material needs to be used on the inside of the back door as it becomes the ramp when opened.

MAHROOF SThe staff member who ‘helped’ me did NOT know how to connect the trailer. She connected the safety chains to the hitch pin of the cross bar and not to the anchor points. She also did not tighten the ball receiver as she was talking on her cell phone at the same time. I think she may have been talking to her husband and getting some instructions, but it was a foreign language. I connected it properly and had no other issues.

UZOMA OThis was by far the worst experience we have had with uhaul in all of the years we have rented a truck. It caused tremendous stress that was not needed at an already very busy time. We rented this truck and trailer five weeks in advance, in person at the Fredericton location. The person behind the counter was very helpful. We did this to ensure there wouldn't be any problems, yet we were notified electronically two weeks later while we were away in another country, that our rental would not be available. After returning home and returning to the Fredericton location to inquire, a truck could then not be confirmed until the day before the move to another province. The truck pick up location changed from Moncton NB to Maine USA to Halifax Nova Scotia to Neguac NB. This is unacceptable customer service. All of this running around and constantly trying to ensure we would have a vehicle caused us to lose valuable time and money. The woman working behind the counter in Neguac was also very helpful. The person at the return office in Kitchener, Ontario, was again very helpful.
warren aI was greeted with a friendly smile and fast service at time of pick up, and when I returned the truck, I was greeted with the same friendly smile and fast service. Nothing much to improve on unless you can offer a free coffee and donut to make the experience more memorable?
