It was shocking to agree to a price of $359, based on the mileage anticipated, and knowing that I would have to pay for 3 days rental charge because the computer had only scheduled me for one day instead of 4, then upon return, to have to pay $200 more! I didn't drive that many miles worth! To the best of my ability, I will not ever rent from uhaul again. I also didn't realize, obviously my fault, that I would be paying 79 cents a mile. I don't think the ads I saw listed a rate that high, and it's impossible to get any information from you without making a new reservation. I'm done. My next rental is already set up through Enterprise.Debbie H.

When charging card it is very helpful to sent a email attachment of charge to the rental explaining the total cost add up. I just got charged higher than i thought but there was no receipt or emails to see details of what lead to the higher total.jennifer S.

I think it was a problem with the system as a whole. I made the reservation online and it said I was all set. Logged back in the next day and didn't see the reservation. Called customer service and they said it was sent to wrong email. They straighten it out and it was now showing on my account when I logged in. I did the â€œexpressâ€ check-in online and it sent an email that said once again that I was all set. Went to the location to get keys any they said I should have beven given a code to access keys. Well I was never emailed a code. 30 minutes later i finally have the keys. So much for express check-in. I will say that the person at the location was very apologetic.talisha M.

initially, I was supposed to pick up my truck at Dirty South Customs on Wilkinson Blvd. We arrived and were told no one there could check out the truck to us. I called the customer service number, who offered to walk the clerk in the store through checking out the truck. Then the store clerk told us there was no internet. Uhaul customer service *then* contacted the manager (Lafayette Polk) who called me directly. He checked the truck out to me over the phone, but then the store clerk could not locate the truck's key. I'm convinced the truck I reserved was not there in the first place and they were just making excuses. Thankfully, I called the 800# again and they were able to transfer my contract over to Outbox Storage. It was very easy to check out our truck once we got there and I found the person on duty to be very nice and helpful. Personally, I will special request Outbox Storage now when renting another truck (which will be this Thursday as our move is not complete), and will refuse to do business with Dirty South Customs again. Outbox Storage saved the day and we are so grateful for their and the customer service line's help!Lisa W.
