It was easy to set up my reservation on the app I selected the online 24/7 pick up option and saved the quote, received a text that said if called the main u haul number and confirm the reservation I would receive 10% off my rental price. What a great deal!! Unknown to me the man I talked to on the phone switched my reservation to an in person pick up. Imagine my surprise when I went into the first location after it closed and I went on my phone to do my 24/7 pick up and it was I was told to go inside and pick up the keys. After talking on my phone to customer service I was sent to a second location. Imart. Great right? WRONG! I got to the location and started the in person pick up process. The location I was sent to didn’t have the utility dolly I was supposed to get but oh well! I called u haul to see if I could get one. The answer was “we don’t have any you can get right now, but please be careful and don’t hurt yourself”. So I continue the check out process, after 30 minutes of the Imart employee trying to check me out while continuously walking away from me to run the other side of the business we get to the conclusion that their location doesn’t do one way reservations so I’m SOL. I call u haul for a 4th time then get disconnected then calling for a 5th time. I was finally sent to a location to do a 24/7 Mobile pick up pick, still no utility dolly, the mobile pick up went smooth so no complains about this location. If you think this review was long imagine how long of a process this was for me, I’ll spoil it for you TWO HOURS. I spent TWO HOURS trying to just pick up the u haul. It threw my entire time line off and now I have to rent a second truck to finish what I needed to do, but I can tell you it WILL NOT be from u haul. This isn’t the first time they have messed up my reservation either. But good news they offered me $50 whole dollars back. I have to rent another $300 truck but thank god I have $50 dollars back. Do yourself a favor and never rent from u haul.

LAUREN Pthis is the second time that i make reservations por self pick and people forgets to set it up before they go home so every time I go out there to do self pick up is not available so I ended up calling the 24 hour customer service so they can find me at a different location that is time and money that I’m losing and the thing is I don’t get no compensation for my Uber ride to the location or ending like that..

Gary HYour people hooked up my vehicle to an auto transport trailer. They attached the rear chain to my axel and in the drive, that pressure from the chain bent my axel causing HUNDREDS in damage. I will be making sure you pay for ALL of the costs to fix my car YOU damaged.

Stephen FI would have given a great review overall until I got phone call from who I assume was the owner after I dropped the truck off. Without even saying hello, he began accusing me of not returning equipment I didn't even rent. He told me I had handtrucks and multi dozen pads that I didn't return (I only rented one hand truck, an appliance dolly, and 1/2 dozen pads - all of which were returned with the truck -folded and cleaned.) After a minute of me running through what I had paid for and returned, he relented. Not the greatest experience. Maybe confirm what customer has what before accusing them of something.
Holly VHeadlights barely worked. Turn signals didn't work. Thankfully I used the truck during mostly daylight hours. Wouldn't want to have to drive it on unlighted streets.

MICHAEL ZOverall Uhaul has taken a big step back. The equipment was dirty on the outside, relatively clean on the inside, the truck drove as though it needed to have maintenance performed on it. Our reservation was changed at the last minute to a new location and we were charged for the additional miles. The original price that we were quoted was at $.59 a mile and then we were charged $.69 a mile. feel like the entire process was absolutely miserable and a total scam from beginning to end. I will to never ever ever use U-Haul again.
