We reserved a truck about 4 or 5 days in advance, but when we went to pick it up, they told us they didn't have it and had to transfer our rental to another location. Later, when we were trying to check the U Haul back in the app was not working nor their website, so we called the 800 number and got a recording that there were 45 people in line ahead of us, so we hung up. We took pictures of the truck inside and out, the mileage and the gas gauge to show we had replaced the gas we used and dropped the key in the box. The next day I called the location we had rented from and dropped the truck off at and they said they got it and took care of it. I later got an email verifying the truck was returned but the check in date was a day later than when we turned it in, so we were being charged for another day. I tried to get this resolved with the place we rented from and returned to and explained the issues we had with checking in the day before, but the lady said they had no control over the additional charges and that I would have to call the 800 number. So I called and explained again what happened at check in and the representative acknowledged U-Haul had technical issues with their app and website the day before and then said he would escalate the call to someone and get back to me. I later received an email that said U-Haul was showing that we had checked the truck in 8 hours late so they were not going to refund the money for the extra day nor the extra day they charged us for the insurance we purchased even thought I explained to them when I called about their website being down and their app not working and that the location had manually checked the truck in the next day when they opened up. Nonetheless they refused to refund the money so yes, we are not happy with our experience. We have used U Haul many times down through the years for various things and have never ever had such problems or encountered such indifference when trying to resolve an issue like we had. If we are in need of a moving truck in the future we will certainly be looking for other alternatives.

Originally, I was scheduled to pick up the truck on Wednesday but had to change it to Friday. It was ready and I was in and out within 30 minutes of arrival. The only thing I can recommend for improvement is to notify the customer that they will get a text message with a link to take pictures of the truck before departure. I didn't see that message until I go to my house so I had to call to get another link to take pictures of the truck's condition. It wasn't hard but a bit inconvenient. Overall, I had a great experience and the truck met my needs.

The cargo area had a terrible smell to it. Almost like a wet dog and rotten food. Also, if locations know certain dolly's aren't available, that were part of the reservation, a heads up would be nice to be able to plan accordingly.

I rented the van from Pak Rat, but special thanks go to the clerk at Mighty Mini Storage on East Brainerd Rd. I was having a bad morning when I went there to rent a van; when Mighty Mini didn't have one, the clerk there quickly, courteously, and cheerfully found the one at Pak Rat through the U-Haul system. His actions and attitude were just what I needed.

Loved this location! The gentleman at the desk was pleasant and kind, and he helped us extend our rental for several hours when we needed more time. Back of truck was dirty, unswept. Exterior needed deep clean wash. Cab was dirty. sticky residue on console. Lout air booming sound when going over 35 mph. Probably failed door or cab to chassis gaskets. Would be very uncomfortable for anything but local driving. We were thankful to get our local work done efficiently with this truck, but it needs serious attention soon.

The Van I rented was very dirty in the back and smelled like fertilizer. I called the location to swap out trucks and they told me they had nothing else available. I was on a time constraint so I had no choice but to use the van. I was told that the owner would be calling be but I never recieved a call. I put blankets down in the back and had to throw them away since they smelled so bad. I’ve rented from Uhaul before but never experienced this low level of service.

Had 13 miles until empty. Recieved $50 credit. Was told to just bring it back empty so I brought it back almost empty. $50 credit was removed. Called customer service and they stated that the credit was void due to not being returned with a quarter tank and I returned the truck with 1/8th a tank. This is contrary to the explanation that my bill would be credited for bringing the truck back with more fuel than I had started with. Customer service called the drop off location to dispute the fact that I dropped off the truck with more fuel than I picked it up with and said I would recieve a phone call but I never did. I didn't get the $50 credit for the inconvenience of having to immediately go to the has station and I was cheated out of a 1/8th tank of fuel, and it's a very large tank.

Ideal location, less than a mile from I-75. The lot was well lit, sercurity cameras all over the property. And ideal place to rent Uhaul trucks as well. Great storage facilities and moving equipment.

I rented a 10x20 unit for almost 10 years here. The facility was always gated and well lit. There were employees on site always during business hours and often after. The management was always kind enough to allow me to temporarily park a vehicle in a vacant spot if needed. Management was friendly and easy to deal with. I would recommend this place to others as well as use again for storage needs.
