Cathondra EThe equipment although clean upon first glance was not inspected or maintained apparently. My first rental was fine but my second truck that I returned yesterday had a significant leak/ water issue in the roof that ruined my sectional. I’m beyond upset about it as I wrapped and covered my items knowing that minor water might be a concern. This was no minor leak as it completely saturated my items with the couple of hours of rain. I hope this is repaired so another renter or family is not put in the same situation of losing furniture. The lady in the office was nice and my negative review is for the truck not the individual person.
Dustin GBack of truck was not clean. Location was out of furniture pads which I had pre-ordered. Truck had terrible vibrations and noise traveling down the road.
Bob BThis location, Pak Rat, is great! They were very helpful. However, my U-Haul truck rental experience was awful. I booked a 10’ truck three weeks before pick up online at the closest point to my house. Two days before pick up, I was told by corporate they didn’t have my 10’ truck and needed to send me to another location to pick up a 15’ truck. When I arrived to pick up the 15’, the second location did not have my truck and they had to locate another truck for me. The only one available was a 20’ truck a little further away. I agreed as long as my original booking price would be honored for the 10’ truck. We got to the third pick up location and noticed my reservation had increased the price $200. The lady at Pak Rat was very helpful! I showed her my original confirmation reservation with price and she did her best to make it right. While she was on hold with corporate trying to get it to work because the system wouldn’t allow her to honor my reservation price, she figured out how to do it on her own. In the end, it took us an hour to eventually get a truck.
