We rented a truck for a one-way move; we were allotted only 46 miles, but it was much further than that because we had to drive from the Uhaul location to the location to pick up our household items, and then drive to our final destination. From there, we had to drive to the Uhaul location to drop off the truck. The number of additional miles charged was 34 at $1.00 per mile. Uhaul needs to provide additional mileage without charge because it's not as though you can pick up a truck at the site where you're picking up and dropping off items. Obviously, there is going to be additional mileage associated with a move. $34.00 on top of the already inflated rental fee is ridiculous.

Make sure the people who are giving the U-Haul‘s are not trying to scam their customers. I gave the U-Haul back with sufficiently more gas than what I started with, and they charged the refueling and refueling fee. Will never use again or recommend to anybody.
James CMade my reservation through UHaul.com and picked a location closer to my house. The night before I was going to pick up a truck, I received a notice indicating that my truck would be at the Palm Leaf location. When I got there I was told that they did not have some of the equipment I had reserved, that being a utility dolly and 2 furniture dolly’s. Considering I made my online request weeks prior to the day I needed the truck, I was pretty frustrated

William SIt took several attempts to contact someone once I arrived on site. In fact, I had to leave and return three times for pickup as I did arrive at 8:45 for a 9AM pickup. I understand that being early can be an issue too. When I arrived, for the first time in as long as I can remember, I had to to do the initial hookup, the unit was in a less than convenient spot but not terrible, just not as easy as it should be for connecting. On checkout, there was a tire "low on air but no issues" per the location person. I went and added some air after leaving, it took nearly 60 pounds as it was basically a flat tire. He said it did not have a leak. The following morning it was flat with the weight of the load. Fortunately UHaul service support is amazing and in 45 minutes the bad tire was replaced and ran great. There was also discovered later and issue with the internal trailer wiring harness, I was able to wiggle the wires and made it work but the harness needs to be replaced. Upon return again, not anyone around, causing me to be late. I will NEVER rent from this location again!
Scott MI dropped the vehicle off at this location. You go into a motel lobby (more like a window counter) and she asked for mileage, if the vehicle was clean etc and gave me my receipt. It was easy enough and the lady was pleasant.

Keith WWe had several issues with the truck during our trip 1) Lost AC and then lost Curse Control! So it was a hot and long trip! 2) We returned the Truck 2 days ahead of schedule and was told that even though we returned early we would not be given a discounted rate! 3) Then was told we had to contact Corporate about the issues we had with truck and they would not give us a returned receipt!

Luke WNo dolly was in the truck as requested. How the heck can you move furniture without one and if you can't provide one, please DON'T include it on your order form. I had to rent one from your comoetitor Penski and caused over an hour late to move.
